Joy-Anna Duggar & Austin Forsyth: Wedding on the Way?!

It’s been less than four months since we first learned that Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth are courting, but the couple has been moving extremely fast, even by Duggar standards.

In fact, for the past several weeks, we’ve been hearing rumors that Joy-Anna and Austin are engaged, and that they’re the buildup to their wedding will be a prominent storyline in the next season of Counting On.

Now, it’s beginning to look more and more as though the Duggars are preparing to take fans on yet another journey to the altar.

Earlier this week, TLC released a trailer for an upcoming episode, in which we see Austin ask Jim Bob Duggar’s permission to court his daughter.

It’s tough to tell from that portion of the exchange if the meeting was a success, but we can’t imagine the Duggars would have allowed Austin’s sit-down with Jim Bob to air if he had been rejected as a courtship candidate.

Adding to the speculation that the two young lovebirds are headed for the altar is Joy-Anna’s latest interview with People magazine, in which she opened up about the possibility of saying “I do” in the near future:

“I’m not sure when the next step will come,” Joy recently told People.

“You would have to ask Austin what he’s thinking and my dad, but I’m excited to see what God has in store for us in the next year.”

At 19, Joy-Anna would be the youngest bride in her generation of Duggars, but based on remarks from her family, it seems she has no qualms about taking the leap:

“For Austin and Joy it probably won’t be super long just because they’ve known each other for forever,” Jessa Seewald said.

“I feel like there’s kind of a get-to-know you phase because it is in a different way, it’s romantic, but at the same time, we know so much Austin and his family and we know that he’s a great guy.”

The conversation between Jim Bob and Austin was recorded several months ago, and the fact that the Duggars are still promoting it as one of this season’s highlights is a sure sign that we’ll see Austin pop the question this season:

“A new season of Counting On starts this summer,” the Duggars wrote on their official blog this week.

“And better yet, the network just revealed that it will feature the conversation that Austin Forsyth recently had with Jim Bob Duggar to ask for his blessing to propose to Joy-Anna Duggar. Stay tuned for more details.”

Flip or Flop: Five Spinoffs Planned!

So much for Flip or Flop falling victim to the cancelation axe.

According to a new report, HGTV has actually decided to go in the opposite direction when it comes to this popular home renovation show.

It’s about to take the country by storm!

Over the past several weeks, it’s been assumed that Flip or Flop would come to an end at the completion of its current season, considering hosts Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa are in the middle of divorce proceedings.

Ugly divorce proceedings at that, with some pretty severe allegations being leveled back and forth.

It’s also been alleged that both Tarek and Christina are angling for their very own shows once their Flip or Flop contracts are over.

So clearly the show has a short shelf life, right?

WRONG!

In its latest issue, Us Weekly writes that the series will soon criss-cross the country, airing versions beyond the current setting of Southern California.

At some point in the near future, look for Flip or Flop spinoffs to be based in the following cities/states:

  • Chicago

  • Nashville

  • Atlanta

  • Texas

  • Las Vegas

Neither Tarek nor Christina will be involved in these editions of the program.

Allison Page – general manager, U.S. programming and development for HGTV, Food Network and Travel Channel – explains this decision as follows to the tabloid:

“Because every market is unique, there was an opportunity to highlight what works in various regions by featuring successful people in different locations who had mastered the art of flipping in their town.”

Page also confirms that the first spinoff will be based in Sin City.

It will be hosted by people named Bristol and Aubrey Marunde, the latter of whom says to Us Weekly:

“I bring in a lot of chandeliers and lighting and hardware and things that take the properties over the top.”

The couple says it has been in the house-flipping business for over a decade.

Since news of the El Moussas’ split broke last December, fans have been wondering about the future of the show.

Tarek and Christina separated last May, following a major argument that concluded with Tarek storming out of the couple’s home… with a gun.

The police were called to the scene and no charges were filed.

According to Page, however, this expansion has been in the works long before the El Moussa broke up.

“We’ve been building this franchise for over a year and a half,” she says. “And we’re thrilled to bring new chapters, new stories and new talent to complement a series that’s been a big success.”

Look for Flip or Flop Las Vegas to debut on HGTV April 6 at 9 p.m. ET.

From there, Flip or Flop Atlanta is scheduled to premiere this summer… while Flip or Flop Nashville and Flip or Flop Texas follow in February 2018.

No date has been set for Flip or Flop Chicago.

Will you give these spinoffs a shot?

Or can you not even imagine watching Flip or Flop unless Tarek and Christina are the ones in charge?

Hallie Biden, Widow of Beau Biden, is Dating Brother-in-Law

For the record, we are not passing judgment on anyone involved in the following article.

We’re simply relaying details of a story that is trending online and which may be of interest to our readers.

And that story is this:

Hallie Biden, the widow of Joe Biden’s late son Beau Biden, has started a romance with Beau’s brother Hunter Biden, the former vice president’s younger son.

Hallie and Hunter, of course, were brother-in-law and sister-in-law when Beau was still alive.

The 46-year old tragically died of brain cancer in 2015.

Hunter, who is pictured below, shares three daughters with estranged wife Kathleen. The two have been separated for awhile.

In a statement to Page Six on Wednesday, Hunter acknowledged the relationship and said the following:

“Hallie and I are incredibly lucky to have found the love and support we have for each other in such a difficult time, and that’s been obvious to the people who love us most.

“We’ve been so lucky to have family and friends who have supported us every step of the way.”

Former Vice President Biden has also confirmed the relationship to The New York Post, saying that he and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, have given their blessing to the Hallie and Hunter.

“We are all lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness,” the Bidens said, adding:

“They have mine and Jill’s full and complete support and we are happy for them.”

Hunter is an attorney; he and Kathleen got married in 2002 and separated in October 2015, five months after former Delaware attorney general Beau’s death.

Beau and Hallie have two children, a daughter named Natalie and a son actually named Hunter.

Kathleen, meanwhile, who serves as the chairwoman of the Washington, DC-based Eleanor Roosevelt Dialogue, has not yet commented on the situation.

As for Hunter Biden, a few tidbits of note:

  • He was discharged from the U.S Navy Reserve in 2014 after testing positive for cocaine.

  • His mother, Neilia Hunter, and younger sister, Naomi Biden, were killed in a car accident in 1972. Hunter and his brother Beau survived the crash, but were seriously injured.

  • He earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School.

We wish Haille and Hunter happiness in their relationship.

Does this seem like an awkward and less-than-ideal situation? Yes.

But we have no idea what it feels like to lose a brother and/or a husband.

If these two found comfort in each other and that comfort led them to this place, who are we to judge?

Kailyn Lowry Drops New Pregnancy Detail: What Is It?!?

Kailyn Lowry has opened up once again about her pregnancy.

On the TM2: Live! after-show following the latest installment of her MTV reality series, Lowry was asked a few questions about the impending child in her womb.

Did we finally learn the identity of Kailyn’s baby daddy?

Not quite.

Asked about the man who’s sperm fertilized her egg by host Nessa, Lowry played coy.

She knows how badly the world wants this information and she likely knows it will eventually come out. However:

“I’m not going to talk about that. [I’m] not ready yet,” replied the 24-year old.

Ever since Lowry confirmed the long-gestating rumor about her third pregnancy, Teen Mom fans have been anxious to discover this key detail.

Did she make up at some point with Javi Marroquin and did the two make another baby together? That seems highly unlikely.

What about Tyler Hill, the man with whom Kailyn allegedly cheated on Javi during the latter’s recent deployment with the U.S. Air Force?

Or perhaps the unprotected sex partner was J.C. Cueva, a producer on Teen Mom 2 who almost certainly would be fired if he really did carry on a rumored romance with Lowry?

According to Lowry’s publicist, Casi Densmore-Koon, via Radar Online, “the father is a friend Kail was briefly dating.” That’s all she would say at this time.

So… what tidbit about her pregnancy did Lowry drop on Monday evening?

The mother of seven-year old Isaac (with Jo Rivera) and three-year old Lincoln (with Marroquin) told MTV that she’s “17 weeks” along in her latest pregnancy.

This means she’s in her second trimester; just shy of the halfway point; and is expected to give birth in July.

A summer baby! How nice!

And also, of course, in Kailyn’s case, how controversial.

In announcing her pregnancy via her official blog, Lowry swore this was a “choice” she made.

She acknowledged that she said during many Teen Mom episodes how she did not want any more children.

But she now claims this was a product of being stuck in a bad marriage with Marroquin and that her miscarriage in 2015 inspired her to want to try again in order to expand her family.

“When I started thinking long and hard, I knew I wanted more. This was the choice I made,” Lowry wrote late last month, adding:

“This is the baby I thought I wasn’t sure if I could have. “I know this isn’t an ideal situation but I know everything will be okay.”

Kailyn hasn’t exactly been showered with support from her fellow Teen Moms. Or by folks on Twitter.

“Three babies, three baby daddies… sad to see her be another teen pregnancy statistic,” wrote on social media user, while another chimed in as follows:

“I pray Joe & Javi fight to get their sons at 100% full custody. These children need structure, family and security the most.”

But while Jenelle Evans is yet to offer any sort of congratulatory message, Farrah Abraham at least Tweeted last week:

“I wish [Kail] and her three kids all the best.”

Marroquin reportedly plans on slamming the heck out of Lowry in a forthcoming book, but Kailyn told MTV that she can count on Rivera.

“Jo and I were able to address our concerns and talk about things moving forward,” she said of how she confided in Jo about her latest pregnancy.

“Ultimately, he was happy for me and he said, ‘Babies are blessings.’ So I couldn’t ask for a better support system from him.”

As for as Javi is concerned?

“We didn’t have a conversation because we clearly don’t know how to have a healthy conversation,” she said.
