Kailyn Lowry has a lot on her plate these days.
In addition to the fact that Lowry is expecting her third child, she’s coping with a whole slew of professional and academic pressures that seem to be taking their toll.
Kailyn is soon to earn her bachelor’s degree from Delaware State University and she’s already planning to enter graduate school.
On top of that, the speculation surrounding Kailyn’s love life has been non-stop in the months since she announced that she’s expecting.
First, there were questions about the identity of Kailyn’s baby daddy.
Now, we know that it was Chris Lopez who got Kailyn pregnant, but there are still questions about who, if anyone, Kailyn is dating these days.
Kailyn has made it clear that she is not in a relationship with Lopez, but there’s some disagreement as to exactly what happened there.
(Lowry has indicated that they were in a relationship at one point, while sources close to Lopez claim that it was nothing more than a fling.)
So for a time, it was widely assumed that Kailyn was single.
Last week, however, several sources claimed that Kailyn a photograph of Kailyn lying in bed with a shirtless man made the rounds on social media.
Initially, neither Kailyn nor the mystery man had anything to say about the situation, but now the unidentified bed-mate – identified only as “DJ” – has come forward to clarify the nature of his relationship to the Teen Mom 2 star:
“Kail and I are friends,” DJ told Radar Online in a statement issued moments ago.
“Just friends,” he reiterated.
Lowry has yet to speak out on the matter, but insiders close to the 25-year-old corroborate DJ’s story:
“She was in bed because her feet were swollen,” one source tells Radar.
“DJ was in LA for something else and hung out with her.”
One person who seems less than convinced, however, is Kailyn’s second baby daddy, Javi Marroquin.
Asked to comment on his ex’s recent alleged bed-hopping, Javi had only this to say:
“It’s just sad. It makes me sad for the boys. I have nothing else to say about her.”
