People"s Choice Awards 2018: And the Winners Were...
Nearly all the people have spoken.
Or at least many of them have done so.
On Sunday night, E! aired the 2018 People’s Choice Awards, as everyday citizens used their voice to vote for the second time in just a few days.
Instead of installing new politicians around the country, however, these votes determined the nation’s top shows, stars, movies and more.
Aside from honoring Melissa McCarthy with the first-ever People’s Icon Award and Victoria Beckham, who took home the first-ever Fashion Icon Award, who else earned trophies at the event?
Scroll down for a complete list of winners…

Julia Roberts Makes HISTORY as People"s Most Beautiful Woman
Julia Roberts has done it again.
She’s defied the odds, overcome her age, fought back against the critics and managed to once more earn one of the top honors in Hollywood.
Indeed, for the record-setting fifth time, the former Oscar winner has been named People Magazine’s Most Beautiful Woman.
In the entire world!
The actress first garnered this distinction way back in 1991 and she tells the publication that her children keep her young, vibrant and happy these days.
“They all have a very keen sense of humor,” Roberts says of daughter Hazel and sons Henry and Phinnaeus, adding:
“They all have a sort of different style of humor, but I do think they are all pretty funny, and I really hope they get that from me because that’s what I tell everybody.”
A perfect day, says Roberts, is “just to be with my family [with] everybody, feeling happy and running around and playing. Just sharing time together.”
It’s this sort comment that has always made Roberts such a fan favorite.
Few A-List celebrities come across as grounded and simply as normal as she always has.
JULIA ROBERTS AS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN THE WORLD IN 1991.
In her interview with Editor-in-Chief Jess Cagle, Roberts says she’s “very flattered” to have been given this honor again.
She also jokes about how she now has something to hold over good friend George Clooney, who has only been named People’s Sexiest Man Alive on two occasions.
“I’m going to mention that in my Christmas card to the Clooneys this year,” Roberts quipped.
Roberts lost her mother, Betty, in 2015.
She revealed to the magazine that she looks forward to growing “gracefully-ish old” and one day being a grandmother herself. After all…
“That’s what the winter of life is supposed to be about.”
JULIA ROBERTS AS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN THE WORLD IN 2000.
Is she worried about being fazed out of Hollywood? Or that her best days are behind her/
Not at all, Roberts explains with confidence:
“I think I’m currently peaking.”
The gorgeous star, who graced this Most Beautiful cover for the first time a year after Pretty Woman turned her into an icon, goes on to say that she had no idea at the time how that movie would change her life forever.
“People say, ‘Oh, when Pretty Woman came out it must have really changed your life,’ and it’s kind of become this joke, but the truth is I was out of town when Pretty Woman came out,” she says.
“I was in another movie in this tiny little town that was showing Star Wars in its first run.
“I remember reading … ‘Pretty Woman came out this weekend and made this much money’ and I thought, ‘Is that a lot of money? Is that good? Is that great?’ I didn’t really know.”
JULIA ROBERTS AS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN THE WORLD IN 2005.
Roberts has managed to maintain a level head and a successful career for decades, the combination of which is difficult to pull off.
But she credits husband Danny Moder for keeping her sane. And incredibly happy.
“I mean, every day my husband walks in the door, it’s like a recurring dream. I’m like, ‘Ah, he’s back!’” she gushes to Cagle.
We have a feeling he feels the same way.
Literally no one else on the planet can say he’s married to the five-time Most Beautiful Woman in the World.
Congrats to Julia! And to all previous winners documented below!

Teen Mom 3 Star Throws Shade at MTV: You Ruin People"s Lives!
Last week, we learned that Teen Mom 3 star Briana DeJesus will be joining the cast of Teen Mom 2.
The move stunned both the show’s fans and its existing cast members, as for all of the criticism it’s received, few have ever complained that TM2 is lacking in the drama department.
The other stars are rumored to be angry about DeJesus being hired, as they feel her presence will distract from their storylines and cut into their camera time.
But there’s one former MTV star who’s wishing DeJesus all the best and expressing gratitude that she wasn’t chosen for the job.
Like DeJesus, Alex Sekella starred on the first and only season of Teen Mom 3.
Unlike her co-stars, however, Sekella says she was glad when the show was canceled.
Fans have apparently been asking Sekella how she feels about the DeJesus situation on social media.
She responded today with a lengthy Facebook post describing her feelings on the move, her life these days, and her thoughts about being a star of the Teen Mom franchise:
“After finishing Teen Mom 3 and being told they weren’t continuing I said there and then that I’m done with filming, I’m wiping my hands clean of this and moving forward,” Sekella wrote.
“So I’m sure when the discussion about pulling cast members from Teen Mom 3 for Teen Mom 2 my name was probably not even mentioned because they knew that I did not want it.”
It’s a refreshingly honest take from someone who clearly didn’t enjoy the reality TV spotlight.
Sekella goes on to say that the life she enjoys today wouldn’t be possible if she were still on television:
“Honestly though that was the best decision I could of made. I’ve been able to start a normal life and start a REAL career that will last a very long time and benefit my children,” she told fans.
“I’ve also been able to find a real relationship that won’t be picked and prodded at by the world to see.”
She added:
“I have had a pretty drama free life since the end of Teen Mom 3 and I don’t believe that any of that would’ve happened if I had not removed myself.
Sekella describes her life as “drama-free” and for evidence that she’s telling the truth, you don’t need to look any further than the comments section on her Facebook post.
After Alex split from her baby’s father, Matt McCann, he married LeKota McCann and had a together, they had a son named Matty.
Matt and LeKota later divorced, and far from being rivals, she and Alex are clearly close friends thse days:
“Can I personally tell you I’m thankful you chose that because not only have you protected you and Bellie but you’re also protecting Matty and I,” LeKota commented.
“I’m very thankful for that and honestly, you’re so much classier than reality TV.”
Obviously, this sort of maturity and grace have no place on an MTV reality series!
Watch Teen Mom 2 online to remind yourself of the sort of drama-fueled lives the network seeks out.

Judge Wapner Dies; Iconic People’s Court Host Was 97
More sad news today out of the television world.
A few hours after we learned that Bill Paxton died at the age of 61, due to complications after heart surgery, TMZ is reporting that Jospeh Wapner has also passed away.
The retired judge rose to surprise TV stardom as the host of The People’s Court.
He was 97 years old.
Long before Judge Judy and many others in this profession used the small screen to take their career to a new and famous level, Judge Wapner sat on the bench in September of 1981 at the front of The People Court.
In many ways, it was the first reality show of all-time.
And Wapner earned instant fandom as its clear-cut star.
Opinionated, intelligent, affable and humorous, Wapner led the series for 12 years and 2,484 total episodes.
He earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in recognition of his work in the entertainment space.
The program itself was parodied on Saturday Night Live.
In Rain Man, Dustin Hoffman was often quoted as his character of Raymond for saying there were only “three minutes to Wapner,” an expression that took on a life of its own for years.
Prior to signing on as a television judge, Wapner served as an L.A. County Superior Court judge for over two decades.
According to TMZ insiders, he was hospitalized last week after suffering a few breathing problems.
The condition sadly grew worsen, prompting a transfer to his home in Los Angeles on Friday, February 24, at which time Wapner was placed hospice care.
He passed away on Sunday morning.
After The People’s Court was canceled in 1993, it aired in syndication until it was revived for a second incarnation in September 1997.
For this version, former attorney and mayor of New York Ed Koch replaced Wapner for two seasons and was later succeeded by Judge Jerry Sheindlin and Florida State Circuit Court Judge Marilyn Milian, the latter of whom has since become the show’s longest-reigning arbiter.
Wapner is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mickey Wapner, and their three children.
May he rest in peace.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani: Going Strong at People"s Choice Awards!
Isn"t it so nice to see Gwen Stefani happy after the absolute mess that was her divorce from Gavin Rossdale?
It was widely reported that he had a long affair with their nanny, but whatever happened, Gwen was very clear about being traumatized from it.
After she filed for divorce, she spoke at length about how hurt she was by whatever it was that happened. It was awful.
But then she began dating her fellow co-star on The Voice, country star Blake Shelton, and things began looking up for her.
Gwen and Blake — Gwake, if you will — were very vocal about their love for each other for a while, to the point where they got a bit obnoxious.
Some people even began thinking the relationship was staged, things were so constantly, overwhelmingly sappy.
But in the past several months, it seems like these two have really settled into their relationship.
They don"t gush about each other every waking moment like they used to, and it"s been a nice change.
But don"t for one second think that their love has faded — and if you can"t help it, just check out this clip of Blake Shelton at last night"s People"s Choice Awards.
Blake won two awards, one for Favorite Album and one for Favorite Male Country Artist, and during his acceptance speech, he took a moment to talk about Gwen, who was in the audience.
Check out the incredibly adorable speech here:
