David Hasselhoff and Hayley Roberts: Married!
It’s been a little over two years since David Hasselhoff became engaged to Hayley Roberts.
The famous actor is 66, and his fiancee is 38.
But she’s no longer his fiancee — she’s his wife. The two are now officially married!
Us Weekly reports that David Hasselhoff’s rep confirmed to them that he and Hayley have married.
The two tied the knot on Tuesday, July 31.
The long-awaited nuptials took place in the southern region of Puglia, Italy.
Italy is easily one of the most romantic places to have a destination wedding.
And we also have a few details about the ceremony itself.
According to The Blast, the 66-year-old actor and the 38-year-old model did not have one of those huge productions of a wedding, but they did invite guests.
The guest list was limited to close friends and, of course, family, giving the ceremony an intimate feeling.
Among the guests, of course, were David Hasselhoff’s daughters Taylor, 28, and Hayley, 25.
(No, that is not a typo — in case it has slipped your mind, his wife and daughter not only have the same first name, they spell it the same way)
We’re sure that they were overjoyed at getting to witness the loving union between these two longtime lovers.
This romance has been blazing for years — ever since David and Hayley (his wife, not his daughter) met in a random encounter at a hotel, way back in 2011.
Hayley asked him for his autograph. He agreed — and asked for her number in exchange.
That’s probably not the response that she expected from the Baywatch and Knight Rider alum, but they started dating.
Then, in 2016, on a romantic picnic lunch in Malibu, he proposed to her.
And she said yes.
David knew that marrying someone new — especially someone so much younger than he is — was going to be a little different for his daughters.
“I told my girls what I was going to do,” he actor shared after announcing the engagement in 2016. “And they were both really supportive.”
“It’s tough,” he said. “No one wants to see their parents split up.”
That is mostly true.
“But they love Hayley,” David said. “And they’re just happy for me.”
The age difference isn’t the hugest in the world. Unlike some celebrities, he’s not marrying a woman as young as or younger than his daughters.
We imagine that the only real awkward part of this relationship is that Hayley (his wife) and Hayley (his daughter) have the same name.
But plenty of families have multiple people with the same name, and they’ve had seven years to become accustomed to it.
Our heartfelt congratulations go out to the newly married couple.
We hope that their marriage brings them many years of blissful happiness.

Julia Roberts Makes HISTORY as People"s Most Beautiful Woman
Julia Roberts has done it again.
She’s defied the odds, overcome her age, fought back against the critics and managed to once more earn one of the top honors in Hollywood.
Indeed, for the record-setting fifth time, the former Oscar winner has been named People Magazine’s Most Beautiful Woman.
In the entire world!
The actress first garnered this distinction way back in 1991 and she tells the publication that her children keep her young, vibrant and happy these days.
“They all have a very keen sense of humor,” Roberts says of daughter Hazel and sons Henry and Phinnaeus, adding:
“They all have a sort of different style of humor, but I do think they are all pretty funny, and I really hope they get that from me because that’s what I tell everybody.”
A perfect day, says Roberts, is “just to be with my family [with] everybody, feeling happy and running around and playing. Just sharing time together.”
It’s this sort comment that has always made Roberts such a fan favorite.
Few A-List celebrities come across as grounded and simply as normal as she always has.

In her interview with Editor-in-Chief Jess Cagle, Roberts says she’s “very flattered” to have been given this honor again.

“I’m going to mention that in my Christmas card to the Clooneys this year,” Roberts quipped.
Roberts lost her mother, Betty, in 2015.
She revealed to the magazine that she looks forward to growing “gracefully-ish old” and one day being a grandmother herself. After all…

“I was in another movie in this tiny little town that was showing Star Wars in its first run.
“I remember reading … ‘Pretty Woman came out this weekend and made this much money’ and I thought, ‘Is that a lot of money? Is that good? Is that great?’ I didn’t really know.”

Julia Roberts & Danny Moder: Headed For Divorce?
Julia Roberts doesn’t make many tabloid headlines these days for a number of reasons.
For one thing, she’s a woman in Hollywood over the age of 40, which means she’s effectively invisible to most of the media.
But the biggest reason that you don’t see Julia’s famous smile while the clerk scans your groceries and you curse the man who invented the chip card is that she’s been living a life of quiet domesticity for the past 15 years.
Roberts married Danny Moder back in 2002, which means in Hollywood years, they’ve been together for roughly four centuries.
Rumors of Roberts and Moder getting divorced have surfaced now and then, but nothing ever came of them/
That’ll likely turn out to be the case with this latest round of speculation as well, but some anonymous “insiders” swear that the actress and her husband have been living separate lives for months.
Roberts was recently spotted eating dinner with friends, and apparently, for some folks that’s sufficient evidence that the couple is on the rocks.
According to the site Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Roberts and Moder are officially separated, but will not be legally ending their marriage any time in the near future:
“The last thing Julia wants is a very nasty and public divorce battle with Danny,” says one source.
“She has three children to protect along with a $ 250 million dollar fortune at stake.”
So her marriage is over but she’s planning to hide that fact from the public for the rest of her life?
How convenient for the tipster!
Pro tip: You can make whatever wild claims you want to about a celebrity’s life, so long as you also invent a reason for them to hide their divorce/addiction/affair/homosexuality a secret.
In this case, Julia doesn’t want a “public divorce battle” because it would be … bad for her reputation?
She’s already been divorced once, and this is 2017 – people really don’t care if celebrities decide to end their marriages.
As for the $ 250 million:
1. Hey, that figure is up from the last round of divorce rumors. Good for Julia!
2. There’s no way she married some regular-ass dude and didn’t make him sign a prenup.
She could cut Moder a check for one-tenth of her fortune, and both sides would be happy.
Hell, with that kind of cash, she could just have him “disappeared” and they’d never find the body.
Julia doesn’t strike us as the shrinking violet type.
We’re pretty sure that if she wanted this guy out of her life, he’d be out of her life.

Matt Roberts Dies; 3 Doors Down Guitarist Was 38
Matt Roberts, former guitarist for the popular rock band 3 Doors Down, has passed away at the age of 38.
Matt’s father, Darrell Roberts, broke the news online just moments ago.
Matt left the band in 2012 due to health issues, but continued to tour with other groups and as a solo artist.
Darrell Roberts tells TMZ that his son Darrell was scheduled to perform in Wisconsin today and rehearsed with other musicians until late last night.
Father and son returned to their hotel, where Darrell says he was woken around 9 am by detectives who informed him that Matt had passed away.
Prescription painkillers were found on the scene.
Darrell says that both he and the authorities believe Matt’s apparent overdose was accidental.
Roberts was with 3 Doors Down when the band rose to international fame with their 2000 hit “Kryptonite.”
He stuck with the group for their subsequent best-selling singles “When I’m Gone” and “Here Without You.”
Darrell Roberts says his son’s fan base remained devoted even after he was forced to leave the band.
He adds that Matt was “deeply beloved” by family and friends and described the loss as “devastating.”
Tributes from fans and colleagues began pouring in on social media just minutes after news of Matt’s death was made public.

David Hasselhoff: Engaged to Hayley Roberts!
David Hasselhoff has made sure that he’ll never drown in an ocean of loneliness ever again.
Because the former Baywatch star is now engaged!!!!!
As reported by Hello! Magazine, the 63-year old actor finally popped life’s most pressing question to his 36-year old girlfriend, Hayley Roberts, following five years of dating.
Yes, that’s a 27-year age difference for those keeping track at home.
But whatever. You can’t put a number on true love.
“We were both in tears … I genuinely had no idea he was going to do that,” Roberts told Hello! of the beautiful gesture. “I’m still overwhelmed.”
Way back in 2012, Hasselhoff pretended to propose to Roberts on Twitter. But this is the real thing, people!
Did the significant age gap cause any hesitation on The Hoff’s part at all?
“I had a saying, ‘You don’t get married because you want to live with someone, you get married because you can’t live without them,’ ” he told the publication.
“I felt that way. I knew that I was really unhappy without her. I waited to propose because I thought I was too old for her.”
Roberts, meanwhile, says the age gap never bothered her.
“I don’t worry about it. I don’t want to miss out on being with someone I love because of what might happen down the line.”
With the news now public, Hasselhoff took to Twitter to thank fans for their well wishes.
“HELLO ! Thanks for all Congratulations to me & Hayley&GUMBALL &2nd season premiere of Hoff The Record on Dave this Friday ! BEST WEEK EVER!” he wrote.
This will mark Hasselhoff’s third trip down the aisle.
He was married to singer Catherine Hickland from 1984 to 1989 and then to Pamela Bach for seven years. He has two children with the latter.

The multi-time Emmy Award winner died at the age of 90 this week, leaving behind a memorable legacy.

Doris Roberts Dies; Emmy-Award Winning Actress Was 90
Doris Roberts, a multi-time Emmy Award winner likely best remembered for her role on Everybody Loves Raymond, died Sunday in Los Angeles.
She was 90 years old.
Roberts, a native of St. Louis, was a 20-year veteran of Broadway before she moved on to a wildly successful career in television.
She won five Emmy Awards in total, four of them for as Marie Barone, the mother of the title character on CBS’ Everybody Loves Raymond, which featured Ray Romano.
The veteran actress also starred in a multitude of other television shows and movies, most notably National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
She is survived by her son Michael Cannata Jr., who she had with her first husband; Doris’ second husband, William Goyen, passed away in 1983.
We send our condolences to her friends, family members and loved ones.
