Derick Dillard Trolls Universe with Bizarre Pro-Life Tweets
As Counting On fans know, Jill Duggar’s husband Derick Dillard loves to use social media as a platform to troll pretty much everyone.
His latest missive was certainly no exception.
Yes, the man who calls out transgender teens and regularly comes up with new ways to scam fans for money still doesn’t know when to quit.
Derick, who was fired by TLC in late 2017, isn’t letting that slow him down – if anything, he seems more emboldened than ever.
Never one to back down from his views or defending them, the father of two has become downright antagonistic on Twitter of late.
On Friday, the staunchly pro-life Arkansan shared an article about a pro-life bill in Iowa that would ban abortion very early in pregnancy.
This state law would prohibit the procedure as soon as an embryo has a detectable heartbeat, and Derick couldn’t be happier about it.
Derick wrote in celebration of this news:
“This is great! Laws country-wide are getting closer to making ALL murder illegal. Progress IS being made. Equality for all!”
Now that is some serious trolling.
Twitter users immediately seized on the controversial star’s word choice of “equality,” given his, um, history of intolerance.
Specifically, Derick’s hateful and repeated transphobic comments about Jazz Jennings, which led to his firing from TLC.
“Hypocrisy at its finest,” one fan wrote.
The fan continued with this question:
“I’m wondering … does ‘equality for all!’ include transgender people, Derick? Just curious where your ‘for ALL’ line is drawn.”
Another Twitter responded that abortions should not be illegal because this could claim lives, not save them as Derick posits.
Terminating a pregnancy could save the life of the mother in certain situations, and banning the practice could be fatal to the mother.
His confusing response to that?
“What about all the people in this world who rely on somebody else to live??” Derick shot back. “Should we just kill all those people??!”
Other irate fans noted that Derick is a man, and thus is in no position to talk about abortions and female reproductive rights.
Not only that, but someone told him:
“You were literally a virgin up until about [two years] ago. Pretty sure your opinion about my uterus and my body is a moot point!!!!!”
Derick, of course, subscribes the well-documented Duggar family doctrine of chaperoned dates and side-hugging before marriage.
Dillard married Jill in June 2014, so he’s been boning for almost four years if you want to get technical, but the fan’s point was made.
In response, Derick … tried to invoke religion to try to establish some correlation between one’s virginity and ability to form an opinion.
Yeah, we’re as confused as you are. He wrote:
“Pretty sure Jesus Christ was a virgin his whole life, and the western world bases its calendar system on the man’s life.”
“And while we’re talking about moot points.”
Derick’s endgame is a mystery. It’s hard to understand what he’s going for with his scorched earth social media campaign.
If Dillard’s goal is to make headlines and remain relevant by burning every remaining bridge he can find, then well done sir.

Miss Universe 2018: We Have a Winner!
Move over, Meghan Markle.
You aren’t the only beauty who will forever now be associated with wearing a tiara.
On the heels of the exciting Markle and Prince Harry engagement news, the annual Miss Universe Pageant aired live from Las Vegas on Sunday night.
At the outset of the sexist competition (seriously, how do events such as this still exist in 2017?!?), 92 women were on stage, set to strut their stuff and answer dumb questions in hopes of earning the ultimate honor.
In the end, however, only one could be crowned champion.
And that one was Miss South Africa, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters!
The holder of a business management degree, Nel-Peters knocked off runner-up Miss Colombia Laura Gonzalez and third place finisher Miss Jamaica Davina Bennett to claim the crown.
Shortly after it was placed on her head, the new Miss Universe was asked to comment on sexual harassment, considering the accusations swirling around Hollywood these days.
Replied the 22-year old:
“If women take hands and stand together, we are unbreakable and we can say no to the things that are wrong in the workplace, at home or wherever you might go.”
(Perhaps women can also take hands and stand together against a competition that pits them against each other in categories such as Swimsuit Wearing and Evening Gown Donning.)
Three days of preliminary interviews and judging took place before the broadcast yesterday.
Nearly as soon as Miss Universe went live last night, 16 semi finalists and then the final Top 10 were announced.
These women, naturally, then went on to compete in swimwear, evening gown, final question and final look rounds.
At one point, host Steve Harvey asked the eventual winner:
“What quality in yourself are you most proud of and how will you apply that quality to your time as Miss Universe?”
This is how Nel-Peters responded:
As Miss Universe you have to be confident in who you are as an individual. And Miss Universe is a woman that has overcome many fears and by that she is able to help other women to overconme their fears.
She is a woman that nothing is ever too much to ask for and I think that is exactly who I am.
Referencing his famous gaffe in 2015, when he read the wrong name as champion, Harvey poked fun at himself when the climactic moment arrived.
“Be afraid. Be very afraid,” he told the remaining contestants prior to crowning Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters.
Nel-Peters hails from the South African coastal community of Sedgefield in the Western Cape province.
She helped develop a program to train women in self defense after she was robbed at gunpoint a month after she was crowned as Miss South Africa.
After waving to the crowd and accepting the honor, Miss Universe said she has a number of causes on which she hopes to focus.
“HIV/AIDS is a very big problem in my country South Africa, so I hope to stand as an advocate for that,” she cited as an example.
Nel-Peters also earned a year-long salary and a luxury apartment in New York City for the duration of her reign, along with other prizes.
This is a very dumb and insulting event that really ought to be canceled.
But that doesn’t mean we aren’t happy for Nel-Peters.

Taylor Swift Announces App, Readies Universe Takeover
Here is one narrative from which Taylor Swift does NOT want to be excluded:

Not only does Taylor wish to be included… she wishes to totally and completely take it over.
In a newly-released YouTube video, the struggling (by her lofty standards) singer has introduced something called “The Swift Life.”
It’s an upcoming app that is meant to be a "creative, inclusive and community-driven place for users to better connect with each other… and Taylor," according to the footage below.
What does this mean, exactly?
It"s too early to say for certain.
But the video opens with Swift FaceTiming her fans and then teasing:
"I"ve got something pretty awesome we"ve been working on for awhile that I"m excited to share with you."
Sources have confirmed that the app has been in the creation process for almost two years and that Swift has partnered with with Glu Mobile, the company responsible for Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry"s mobile games.
Both of those items have gone on to generate hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue.
The preview of this app promises exclusive Swift content – including "Taymojis" – as well as the opportunity to listen to new music, talk with other fans and see new photos and video of the star.
"I think you guys are really going to like this," the artist says into the camera. "I mean, I hope. It would be preferable if you did."
It"s pretty much guaranteed everyone will like it more than Swift"s latest song, "Look What You Made Me Do."
Look for The Swift Life to be available later this year.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez Fawn Over Each Other, Nauseate the Universe on "Baecation"
So much for those Alex Rodriguez cheating rumors.
(In a romantic sense, that is. We all know the guy cheated his rear end off on a nearly yearly basis while playing Major League Baseball.)
And so much for those Alex Rodriguez blackmail rumors getting in the way of a healthy relationship with Jennifer Lopez.
The singer/actress and the former controversial athlete made it clear this week that their romance is going as well as ever, sharing photos from a recent trip they took together to Paris.
Sorry, not a recent trip.
A recent baecation, as Lopez referred to the European adventure as in the caption to the picture above.
The gorgeous star posted numerous images from the vacation to her Instagram account, while Rodriguez talked openly about his famous girlfriend at a press event for Shark Tank on Monday night.
(He’ll be joining the ABC program as one of the very rich Sharks next season.)
“Our kids get along really well, we’re both from New York, we’re both Latin, we’re both in our forties, we’re really enjoying life,” A. Rod told Extra, adding:
“She really is one of the most impressive and smartest human beings I have ever met.”
Rodriguez and the 47-year old Shades of Blue actress have been dating for a couple of months.
They haven’t been shy about making public appearances or about gushing over each other during this time period, either.
“She’s an amazing, amazing girl,” Rodriguez said on The View in late March. “One of the smartest human beings I’ve ever met and also an incredible mother.
As for this Paris… umm… baecation?
“The museums are always good, and just walking around Paris is awesome,” Rodriguez told this same outlet.
The main question, of course, is how Rodriguez feels about his nickname with Lopez.
The Internet seems to have settled on J. Rod over A. Lo, which is fine by the man whose last name is at the center of the former option.
“I’m fine with everything, it’s close to A-Rod,” he said, adding of Lopez: “She’s pretty easy going, I think she likes it too.”
She’s also pretty easy on the eyes. Like, VERY easy on the eyes.
If we were dating someone who looked like Jennifer Lopez, we’d let the world just call us by her name at all times for all we cared.
We’d let her dress us. We’d let her talk for us. We’d do everything she said without any questions asked.

Abby Lee Miller Threatens Universe with New Reality Show
Abby Lee Miller may no longer be the host of Dance Moms.
But this doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of Abby Lee Miller as the star of a reality television show.
We know: we’ve very sorry to break this news. Please don’t shoot the messengers.
The 50-year-old dance instructor, though, has managed to remain in the news of late for having recently undergone a gastric sleeve surgery.
During this procedure, which caused Miller a lot of physical and emotional pain, the ex-Lifetime personality had her stomach reduced by a whopping 80 percent.
She talked openly about the process with Entertainment Tonight, telling the celebrity gossip outlet this week that she’s experiencing “discomfort” and is currently on a liquid-only diet.
“They said to buy a shot glass,” Miller joked on Tuesday.
“And to put the water and protein shakes and these little milk shakes in the shot glass and drink it one ounce at a time. So I’m just going to do shots for three weeks.
“That’s my game plan.”
But what about a return to the small screen?
Is that also something Miller is planning?
It sure sounds that way.
The irritating bully of a teacher says she’s been inspired by June Shannon’s weight loss journey (or, let’s be honest, by the attention June Shannon’s weight loss journey has garnered) and says she’d consider a series that focused on her own body issues.
(Shannon returned to relevance this spring with the WEtv show From Not to Hot.)
“I saw an interview with [Mama June] afterward,” Miller told ET, proceeding to quip:
“She still sounds the same, though. Was that not nice? I tried to say that nicely.”
There’s Abby Lee Miller for you, unable to avoid snark even when it’s random and uncalled for.
Miller resigned as Dance Moms host last month via a scathing Instagram rant aimed at the show’s producers.
“I WILL NO LONGER TAKE PART IN DANCE MOMS,” she screamed online at the time, adding by way of angry explanation:
“FOR THE PAST SIX YEARS/ SEVEN SEASONS I HAVE ASKED, BEGGED, AND EVEN DEMANDED CREATIVE CREDIT FOR ALL THE IDEAS, AWARD WINNING ROUTINES, THEMES, AND COSTUMING – TO NO AVAIL!
“I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH BEING MANIPULATED, DISRESPECTED, AND USED – DAY IN AND DAY OUT BY MEN WHO NEVER TOOK A DANCE LESSON IN THEIR LIVES AND TREAT WOMEN LIKE DIRT!”
Since she issued this statement, Miller has been replaced on the Lifetime program by Cheryl Burke, while she’s taken every opportunity possible to plead her case in the meda.
She did so again in this Q&A with Entertainment Tonight, saying her recent surgery has left her feeling more free than ever before.
“I felt for seven seasons that someone else was in control of my life — telling me when I could eat and what I could eat and when I could use the ladies’ room,” she says.
“When you’re so busy shooting 12 hours a day, you just eat what someone sticks in front of you. Now I feel a lot freer and more confident in my everyday activities.”
Ironically, of course, Miller may soon be the exact opposite of free.
She is set to be sentenced at some point in the next few weeks for her admitted role in a bankruptcy scam, having pleaded guilty last year to lying to the government about her salary.
Miller could face actual prison time, even though she’s a celebrity and that probably won’t happen because the system very often sucks.
“I think this is a good thing, and hopefully I’ll be in the best shape of my life,” Miller told ET of the weight loss. “That’s what I’m looking for.”

Kendra Wilkinson Rants Against “"F-cks," Totally Messed Up Universe
Kendra Wilkinson delivered a one-finger salute to a certain section of Internet followers on Monday.
Along with a lengthy diatribe on Instagram.
On a tropical vacation in Hawaii with her husband and two kids, Kendra took a few minutes to absolutely GO OFF on various online trolls, although it’s not exactly clear what prompted her rant.
But that doesn’t make it any less worthwhile to read.
The following is pretty darn awesome.
“Wow by my last post I just exposed all you sick f–ks. Sexualizing a child is NOT ok,” Wilkinson wrote, along with the above photo.
She added:
“What are you thinking posting that? YOU are just as bad as a pedo.
“All you people living in your cages, sit the f–k down and re think life. Oh wait life is already over for you. So we should be living in a cage because of sick f–ks who think of children that way??? So they run our lives now.”
The former Playboy centerfold concluded:
Man, this world is more f–ked up than I thought. I’ll go ahead and go back to my vacation.
Just a day earlier, Kendra had wished a happy birthday to Hugh Hefner.
She had also posted a picture of herself on top of a cliff, the ocean in the background, the sun shining overhead, the universe seemingly gorgeous and at peace.
“Open your heart and mind and you’ll see the beauty around you,” she told her 2.3 million followers just a week ago.
“Let go of pain and anger and just take in the sound of the ocean. Look into the sky and imagine yourself looking down at the world to realize how small we really are and how life is just what we create with the short period of time we are here.
“The world will go on n we will just become dust in the wind so be brave and fearless n forgive and love to the fullest. Laugh at everything n don’t live by the rules.”
So, what prompted Kendra to go from this serene state to one filled with anger and bitterness?
Some followers are speculating that a fan criticized the mother of two for having her daughter hang out by the ocean without a bathing suit top.
If that’s the case, it would definitely be another example of the Internet totally sucking.
Wilkinson shares a son, Hank, and a daughter, Alijah, with husband Hank Baskett.
It’s not the business of strangers to judge how these parents raise these kids; and a little girl walking around the beach without a top on should not raise the ire of anyone at all.
We can’t exactly blame Kendra for her reaction if some idiots out there really did give her grief for this harmless incident.
The sunny vacation comes for Wilkinson and her family comes as Kendra prepares to star in Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition.
On the upcoming season, the former Girls Next Door star will work on the estranged relationship with her mother, as she desperately attempts to stay remotely relevant in the celebrity gossip world.
“The decision to do family boot camp with my mom was the toughest decision of my life,” Kendra told E! News last week. “It really truly was.”

Miss Universe 2017: Who Took Home the Crown?
A new woman is in the charge of the whole entire galaxy.
On Sunday night, while The Crown was being honored at the 2017 SAG Awards, a crown was being placed in the head of a new Miss Universe.
But which beauty earned this mostly meaningless and very much sexist distinction?
The three-hour event opened with host Steve Harvey taking to the stage and joking about the way in which he announced the wrong winner last year.
In a “meeting” to kick off the Fox broadcast, the comedian convened with a group of security professionals and said the following:
“If something happens at the end, if I get this name wrong, I step to the right, and I drop down in this trap door.”
He quipped that as he escaped, the other men would be responsible for finding someone who looks exactly like Harvey to bring on stage.
Harvey then joked to the crowd that he had undergone “eye surgery” to ensure he would not make a similar mistake this time around.
And then reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach came out to prove there were no hard feelings, thanking Harvey for making her the “most popular” Miss Universe ever.
Ashley Graham also played a role at the ceremony, speaking at one point backstage to Miss Canada, Siera Bearchell, about body image and confidence.
“We are confident with ourselves. We love ourselves,” Bearchell said, advising girls facing similar issues to “focus on what you love about yourself” because “that’s what’s important.”
It was an important message to send.
Later on, Harvey had to laugh over the fact that both Miss Colombia and Miss Philippines, the women he mixed up in 2016, advanced to the final six.
But the latter did not make the final three.
In the end, after the audience strangely booed a few contestants for using interpreters, Miss France was crowned Miss Universe 2017.
And Iris Mittenaere could not have looked more shocked to hear her named called.
A native of Paris, the 24-year old is pursuing a degree in dental surgery.
She plans to use her Miss Universe platform to advocate for dental and oral hygiene.
During the competition’s question-and-answer, session, Mittenaere praised France’s open borders and refugee population, touching on the most controversial issue facing America right now..
“In France, we want to have the most globalization that we can, we want to have the biggest exchange of people that we can,” Mittenaere told the judges, adding:
“Having open borders allows us to travel more through the world and to find out more about what’s out there in the world.”
The answer sat well with those in charge of choosing the champion.

Tila Tequila: Michelle Obama Is a Man & I Control the Universe!
If you were hoping that 2017 would be a year without Tila Tequila, we regret to inform you that the former MySpace celebrity (yes, she’s been around that long) is still posting absolutely batsh-t rants on social media, and they’re simply too insane to ignore.
Tila is a Trump supporter (because of course she is) and these days her psychotic ramblings have taken on a political slant.
And just what kind of alt-right nonsense is Tila currently spewing?
Well, she’s going above and beyond the usual lunacy of the Pepe the Racist Frog crowd, which is no easy feat.
Tila’s psychosis seems to come in spurts, and her current frenzy began on Christmas Day, when she posted this almost-too-bonkers-to-believe tirade on her Facebook page:
“It’s almost 2017 and for those of you who are still complaining about Donald Trump you fail to realize that you are no longer living in the same reality that you once knew.
We have merged into an alternate timeline now in an alternate Universe! The truth is stranger than fiction and in this alternative universe sh!t is gonna keep getting weirder so you might as well let go of your previous attachments now.
Next up is time traveling and teleporting. If you are still confused about it all then do not worry for I am the navigator of this Universe! Remember “Teela” in ‘Masters of the Universe?”
Well, that was me! I’ve been hacking timelines and named a cartoon based on myself. Seriously.”
Tila took to the comments to show off her Vladimir Putin impression, adding, “Donald Trump is my puppet.”
And it seems it’s not just world leaders who are under Tila’s control, but also birds. Yes, birds:
“I’ve uncovered a new skill that I have! Yesterday I saw a huge falcon and I was able to control the way it was flying by motioning it with my arms!” Tila recently wrote, seemingly without irony.

On Saturday, Tila turned her attention back to controlling humanity, declaring that she would manipulate the of the New England Patriots-Houston Texans game in the Texans favor.
New England won the game 34-16, which is making us question wonder if Tila has overstated her powers.
But that very public setback didn’t keep Tila down for long, and she bounced back with some of her finest lunacy to date, this time adding a little transphobic hate speech into the mix:
“How many of you have cartoon characters literally named after you? I do because I am obviously the master of the Universe! I time travelled back here to fix where you all f**ked up!

Tila also informed her fans that she’s currently on vacation in Jamaica, which is surprising, as not only has she been unemployable for the better part of a decade, she recently launched a Kickstarter in which she begged for rent money.

Adele Fan Joins Singer on Stage, Blows Universe Away
Adele is the queen of music.
But she may have accidentally found her princess during a recent show in Los Angeles.
On Tuesday evening, Adele invited a fan up on stage to sing with her.
But that fan ended up being Jamie-Grace Harper, a Grammy-nominated musician who has released two albums and actually won several awards.
Adele was unaware of this when she extended the invitation.
“Take it away, sing whatever you want,” Adele told her guest, which resulted in Harper belting out a few lines of Adele"s "Remedy."
She followed this up with a rendition “I Can’t Help Falling in Love with You.”
AND IT WAS AMAZING!
The look on Adele"s face in the following video is simply priceless.
And the same can be said of Harper"s subsequent note on Facebook.
"two nights ago i asked Adele if i could sing with her. she said yes. wait, what?! THANK YOU, Adele!!! Seriously," Harper wrote, adding:
"You"re a gem and it was lovely to sing for you and your beautiful audience."

During a garden party celebrating the Queen’s upcoming 90th birthday, Catherine was asked by a professor how she bounced back after having Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Professor Bulbul Dhar-James teaches political science at Jamia Millia Islamia University, and was one of the guests fortunate enough to speak with Catherine.
“We said ‘how do you lose all the weight after having two kids?’ And she said ‘I am running after my kids,’” the academic told reporters, according to The Duchess Diary.
”I asked her ‘aren’t you tired of smiling?’
“And she said, ‘I’m just reciprocating. Everyone is so warm.’
“They were both really gracious,” she added. “She was so welcoming and warm.
“We told her ‘You look much better in person than in your photographs.’”
What a lovely back-handed compliment!
Catherine wore an intricately-beaded top and skirt by Temperley London for the event, where Prince William delivered a speech from Her Majesty thanking India for their well-wishes.
William and Catherine continue their tour through April 16th, rounding out the trip with an photo in front the Taj Mahal, as his mother, the late Princess of Wales did in 1992.

Ben Affleck Cuddles Superhero Puppies, Universe is Smitten
You could be the world"s biggest a-hole, but when you are seen cuddling a puppy, then all is forgiven.
Last night, Ben Affleck went on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote his upcoming blockbuster, Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice (out today).
Fallon loves golden retrievers (he has one named Gary Frick), and really has the market cornered on retriever puppy segments.
Imagine my delight when Fallon and Affleck played a game of "Pup Quiz," where the prize for a correct answer was a puppy dressed as a superhero.
I know.
The Tonight Show"s announcer Steve Higgins acted as host, fielding the first question to Affleck while holding a puppy in a Batman costume (complete with bat ears).
"In the DC Comics series, what was the name of Batman"s canine crime-fighting partner?" Higgins asked.
"Was it A) Rex The Wonder Dog? B) Ace the Bat-Hound or C) Bat Dog?"
The Boston native clearly didn"t do his homework, because he guess wrong (the correct answer was B).
The Batman puppy was then handed over to Fallon.
For the "Final Puppardy" round, Higgins asked "Roughly how many dogs live in New York City?"
I could watch this segment all the live-long day.

Farrah Abraham Congratulates Maci Bookout, Universe is Confused
After Maci Bookout announced her engagement to Taylor McKinney, Farrah Abraham attempted to get in her Teen Mom OG co-star’s good graces by giving Us Weekly an exclusive recap of their proposal.
As we reported yesterday, McKinney proposed to Bookout over the holiday weekend in L.A., where the cast was taping a reunion special.
According to Abraham, McKinney told Bookout that she had to do a photoshoot for MTV.
It was the perfect opportunity for him to present his baby mama with a custom-designed ring.
“After her new fiancé proposed, they came to the studios to finish our reunion taping,” Abraham told Us on January 19th.
“I stopped by their green room to congratulate them. We all hugged and embraced and congratulated Maci!”
Abraham played nice, which means one thing: She wants an invitation to their wedding.
“It was very fitting and great to catch their memories for everyone to see,” Abraham said of the newly engaged couple.
“I look forward to supporting their engagement and look forward to their wedding.”
It looks as though Abraham made amends with Ambert Portwood and Catelynn Lowell, because they all posed for a photo together, which was then posted to social media.
When asked if Bookout and Portwood (who’s engaged to Matt Baier) will become wedding buddies, Abraham said that she figured they would “both bounce ideas off each other as they plan.”
Hoping that their good fortune will be paid forward, Abraham wrapped up her interview with hope for her own romantic future.
“I’m excited to see their plans come together on their wedding days! Hopefully this engagement luck rubs off on me as I’m the only single lady left.”
