Derick Dillard Just... Asked Jazz Jennings and Emma Gonzalez to Coffee?!?
Derick Dillard must have just been hacked.
That’s the only explanation we can come up with for what the former TLC reality star wrote this week on Twitter.
As anyone who follows Dillard on social media knows well by now, the guy is not a fan of transgender individuals – or, apparently, high school students who manage NOT to get shot to death by crazed gunmen.
No, really:
Earlier this month, Dillard labeled survivors of February’s horrific Parkland, Florida shooting as “ridiculous.”
He wrote that networks are using these teenagers to push for a “liberal agenda” because the kids have been outspoken about their desire for nationwide gun reform.
Along with this criticism, Dillard has taken every available opportunity to slam Jazz Jennings, a transgender reality star who anchors her own series on TLC.
Just this week, Dillard referred to Jennings as a male, pissing off many Internet users, which was merely the latest time Derick went off on the Jazz for no real reason at all.
Except for his intolerance of the LGBT community, that is.
Jazz Jennings is a role model for other transgender teenagers. For Derick Dillard? Not so much.
It all started last August when Dillard bashed the entire concept of a transgender person as a myth.
“What an oxymoron… a ‘reality’ show which follows a non-reality. ‘Transgender’ is a myth. Gender is not fluid; it’s ordained by God,” he Tweeted at the time.
Then there was this comment left by Dillard in November:
“I pity Jazz, 4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda, including the parents who allow these kinds of decisions 2 be made by a child.”
TLC eventually fired Dillard for these insensitive and inappropriate remarks, much to the delight of people who don’t have hate in their heart and do have open minds.
So that’s how we arrived at this point.
That’s all the preamble to a Tweet from Dillard that we never expected to read.
Emma Gonzalez cried tears of anger and pain over her fellow students getting killed. Derick Dillard wasn’t very moved, however.
On February 24, Jennings re-Tweeted a video of Gonzalez speaking out at an anti-gun rally.
It was the speech that made Gonzalez into a true American hero, in the minds of many, at least.
“This is so powerful. I’m so proud of my community,” wrote Jennings in response to the footage, which evidently prompted Dillard to… agree?
At least kind of? To some extent?
Tagging both Jazz and Emma in a March 6 Tweet (below), the controversial star wrote:
“Thinking about and praying for all those across the country, and especially in your community, who this horrific tragedy has affected.
“Let me know if you’re ever in Northwest Arkansas and I’d love to grab coffee and visit. #MSDStrong #neveragain.”
Wait… what?!?!?!?
In the slightest defense of Dillard, he never did slam Gonzalez or her fellow students directly.
Instead, he’s been saying that the mainstream media has been exploiting them to push for an anti-second amendment agenda.
You can agree with this belief or disagree with it, but we suppose it can still be possible that Derick can state it while still having sympathy for Emma and her classmates.
Then again, Dillard has since deleted the message above, perhaps because he had regrets about posting it… or perhaps because he really was hacked!
We may never know.
But it’s probably safe to go back to hating Dillard and his hate-filled view of a world he doesn’t ever try to fully understand.
That’s what we’re gonna do.

Jamie Foxx Gets Asked Katie Holmes, Responds Like THIS
Jamie Foxx seems like a fun-loving guy.
And he and Katie Holmes seem like one of the more stable couples in Hollywood.
But this doesn"t mean Jamie Foxx actually wants to discuss Katie Holmes in public.
The Academy Award nominee made that clear on Friday night during an interview with ESPN"s Michael Smith.
Talking to the network prior to a celebrity basketball game, Foxx was asked the following question by Smith, who referenced a rumor about an activity in which he and Holmes recently engaged:
“I know you prepared because I saw pictures. Did you and Katie Holmes play basketball for Valentine’s Day? Like some real Love and Basketball?”
Pretty innocent, right?
It"s not as though Foxx was asked whether Holmes was pregnant with his baby.
But it wasn"t innocent enough for the actor.
You can see him squirm and smirk in the following video, clearly uncomfortable with the inquiry and unsure how to respond.
And then he figured out that he had no interest in responding.
Foxx calmly got up, received some help taking his microphone off and slowly walked away.
He didn"t cause a major scene, he just decided he had enough of the interview once it got remotely personal.
Foxx and Holmes have been together for about five years. This is a very serious romance,.
But it"s also one of the most private ones in all of entertainment, which may be why it works for them and may be why Foxx didn"t want to discuss it.
About that basketball rumor, though?
About how they were seen on a court in Calabasas?
“They were really happy,” an onlooker told Us Weekly of their Valentine"s Day date, adding:
“Katie was dancing as they walked in and Jamie was laughing. They seem really at ease and truly enjoying each other.”
We"ll just need to take this person"s word for it.

Stormy Daniels: Interviewed, Asked Directly About Alleged Trump Affair
You know how Donald Trump allegedly had a months-long affair with a porn star and then paid $ 130,000 for her silence with campaign money?
That porn star is sitting down for an interview. Right now, we just have the teaser video (below).
But based on her facial expression when she"s asked if she ever banged Trump, we"re in for a wild ride.
"Did you have a sexual relationship with Donald Trump?" the Inside Edition interviewer asks.
Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, tries to keep a straight face.
Her face cracks, revealing a smirk.
She doesn"t say anything to that in this clip, but does acknowledge that it"s common knowledge that the two of them at least met each other. You know, through their business relationship.
They do, after all, appear in photographs together.
According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Donald Trump and the porn star who worked under the title, "Stormy Daniels," had sex at least once back in 2006.
This would have been shortly after the birth of his son, Barron, and not long at all after he married his wife, Melania.
What was truly explosive about this was that it appeared that Trump, through one of his lawyers, paid Stormy Daniels $ 130,000 in exchange for her signing a non-disclosure agreement in 2016, just months before that fateful 2016 election that we all wish that we could somehow forget.
"Saturday Night Live is my favorite show of all time," she says.
That"s … quite something. Most people watch it (or at least clips of it), and though I have friends who"ve attended live shows and I"ve watched it since I was a kid, I never quite imagined it being a person"s favorite show.
"You were portrayed on [Weekend Update]. What was that like?"
She says that being portrayed was "terrifying," for one good reason:
"Because I love SNL and I have a little crush on him. On Colin."
Doesn"t everyone? (We"re not getting into the is Colin Jost or Pete Davidson hotter debate here)
She admits that it would make her feel bad if Colin Jost were to say something mean about her during Weekend Update.
We imagine that she was relieved. Her portrayal did little to make fun of Stormy herself and mostly served as an indictment of people who elected Trump and of those who are more fascinated with salacious scandals than they are with actual issues like national security and treason.
She admits that she "giggled" while watching.
We"d hate to see people give Stormy Daniels a hard time over being a sex worker. if anything, though we may not share her political beliefs (she"s a Sarah Palin fan, of all things), this woman deserves our sympathies.
After all, she possesses unenviable knowledge of what Trump"s penis looks like.
The alleged affair between Stormy Daniels and Donald Trump featured "generic" sex, and reportedly lasted the better part of a year.
Many are hopeful that this Inside Edition will reveal hints, even if Stormy Daniels is still bound by the NDA that she signed, about Trump"s infidelities and personal opinions.
(Beyond the fact that he"s apparently terrified of sharks, and beyond the story about him wanting to be spanked with a Forbes … the world"s worst product-placement for Forbes but actually a boon to shark preservation charities)
But it"s important that we not lose focus. This is a detail relevant to Trump"s marriage and hypocrisy and the hypocrisy of his "family values" supporters.
This is not relevant to Trump"s total inability to govern or his incompetence or his monstrous personality. For that, see … everything else about him, ever.

This Was Awkward: Alison Brie is Asked About James Franco...
Alison Brie could not fully celebrate her achievements at the 2018 SAG Awards on Sunday night.
The actress was nominated for her fantastic role in the Netflix series GLOW, while the comedy itself was nominated as well for a cast ensemble award.
But Brie was forced to address a certain controversy surrounding her family before she entered the Shrine Auditorium.
As you"ve likely read about by now, James Franco has been accused of sexual misconduct by five different women.
In one instance, an alleged victim claims Franco pulled his penis out in front of her; in another, an alleged victim claims he removed the cloth over her vagina for an oral sex scene that was being filmed.
Pretty heinous stuff, if true.
Brie, meanwhile, is married to Franco"s brother, Dave.
So she has a personal stake in this scandal.
Therefore, E!"s Giuliana Rancic simply had to ask the actress for her thoughts on the SAG Awards red carpet.
“What we’ve always said is that it remains vital that anyone who feels victimized should and does have the right to speak out and come forward,” replied Brie, adding:
“I obviously support my family and not everything that’s been reported is fully accurate, so I think we’re waiting to get all the information.
"But, of course, now is a time for listening and that’s what we’re all trying to do.”
Franco is reportedly in a very bad place as a result of these accusations.
But not many people out there have sympathy for him.
At the Women"s March over the weekend, for example, Scarlett Johansson went right after her fellow A-Lister.
"My mind baffles – how could a person publicly stand by an organization that helps to provide support for victims of sexual assault while privately preying on people who have no power," the star said at a podium in Los Angeles, concluding with anger:
"I want my pin back by the way."
Her rep later confirmed that Johansson was talking about Franco.
The actor"s lawyer has denied all accusations against his client.
But it"s safe to assume this story is not going away any time soon.

Beauty Queen Asked to Lose Weight, Hands in Crown Instead!
With all the tragedy that’s been going on in the world lately, it feels like it’s high time for a nice, uplifting story, right?
And drop dead gorgeous beauty queen Zoiey Smale has just the thing!
That’s Zoiey. She’s really, really beautiful — and she’s also a size 10.
A size 10 in her native United Kingdom, that is. In U.S. sizes, she’s about a 6.
But why are we even talking about her dress size? Because, after winning a UK beauty pageant called Miss United Continents, she was informed that she needed to lose weight.
No, really. Someone actually looked at her and then told her that.
Not that that sort of body-shaming is OK anyway, but for real, look at this girl. In what universe does she need to lose weight?
As Zoiey explained in an interview with the Daily Mail, she won the UK title, but was expected to go on to compete for the international Miss United Continents title in Ecuador this month.
In July, the national pageant director called her up and told her that she had some “feedback” for her from the international director.
“She said to me ‘They want you to go on a diet plan and they want you to lose as much weight as possible for the finals.’ I was like, ‘Pardon?"”
“It was one of those things, in the 21st century you don’t actually expect people to be that blunt,” she added.
“I’m not big at all, I’m just bang on average. I just think to be told to lose as much weight as possible for a competition, why would people say that?” she continued.
“It’s horrible and it made me feel so rubbish about myself for a long, long time.”
Which is terribly sad, because obviously she’s not the one with the problem in this story.
She said that she hung up with the director and took time to consider how exactly to respond, because “I was so angry I didn’t just want to throw out insults.”
Eventually, “I said to my director, who was really supportive, that I don’t think someone should say that to girls, it’s awful and it’s horrible and it’s wrong.”
“I don’t think to be a good role model you have to be stick thin and I explained my reasoning that way.”
Finally, “I handed my title back because I’m not going to support a competition that can do that to people, I just think it’s so, so wrong.”
“People wonder why there’s a stigma behind beauty pageants and this is not really helping the matter.”
When she did the first part of the competition, the part for the UK title, she said that there was an emphasis on charity work, but things changed.
“This one took completely away from promoting giving,” she said. “It’s more you’ve got to be as stick thin as possible because that’s what the guys want to see.”
“So I just handed my title back and I just shut that door.”
Absolutely amazing.
Zoiey may no longer be the queen of this particular pageant, but we’re going to go ahead and say it …
She may have just landed a new title as the queen of our hearts.

Lady Gaga"s Boyfriend Christian Carino Asked Her Father WHAT?!
It was not that long ago at all when we first told you that Lady Gaga and Christian Carino were dating. And now we’re hearing a report that they’re already planning to get engaged, which sounds like they’re moving way too fast, you know?
Somehow their high speed relationship isn’t even the weirdest part of this report?
Because the way that Christian Carino is reportedly prepping to propose to Lady Gaga gives us serious concerns about his judgment … and the future of their relationship.
According to a report, Lady Gaga flew her parents over so that they could all celebrate together for the Fourth of July.
Her boyfriend was included at the gathering.
And also, of course, so that Christian and her parents could get to know one another.
That sounds super cool, right?
But then there’s what reportedly happened while they were talking.
Christian is said to have asked Lady Gaga’s father for his blessing to ask for Lady Gaga’s hand in marriage.
(Like it’s the 1600s)
And apparently Joe Germanotta gave Christian Carino his blessing to marry.
A source explains to Life & Style exactly how this came to be:
“Christian saw this as a perfect chance to ask Joe for his daughter’s hand in marriage.”
Well, that would be a great chance … if they knew each other better.
And also if this were centuries ago and asking someone else’s permission were even remotely socially acceptable.
(Because it has never been morally acceptable)
Or, you know, if Christian or Lady Gaga were Duggars.
(Lady Gaga does, in fact, represent a huge portion of things that the Duggars hate and fear and reject)
“When the timing was right, he quietly asked Joe for his permission.”
Ugh. So weird.
“Christian is old-fashioned that way, and he felt like it was the right thing to do before he went ahead and popped the question.”
Well, if that’s the case, then he felt wrong.
Now, we don’t know that this is true.
(We won’t get all existential on you, but Descartes has already said pretty much all that needs to be said about what we can and can’t know about reality)
Sometimes sources are reporting what seems to be true but isn’t.
Sometimes celebrities leak an idea deliberately float it around and see what the public reaction might be.
We just don’t know for sure what’s going on here.
But as much as we want a lifetime of happiness of Lady Gaga, and we absolutely do …
… We hope that this isn’t true.
First of all, six months seems like too soon to get engaged.
And asking so soon after Lady Gaga’s friend died also rubs us the wrong way.
But the idea of asking her dad for permission makes us cringe and cringe and cringe.
Maybe it would be okay … we guess … if both parties who want to get married want to take part in that weird patriarchal tradition.
You know, as if a man’s daughter is his property and her fiance needs to ask if he can claim ownership.
(Gross!)
But we can’t see that for Lady Gaga at all.
We don’t just mean that it doesn’t fit her brand.
It doesn’t seem to fit her values or her personality.
So if Christian Carino really did that … it sounds like a blunder.
Unless she’s really willing to bend over backwards to make her dad happy, anyway.
