Tom Cruise: Still Controlling Katie Holmes Six Years After Divorce?
Hollywood history is filled with whirlwind romances that were followed by abrupt, mysterious breakups.
But you’d be hard-pressed to find a situation more bizarre or enigmatic than the divorce of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
After winning the hearts of millions during their honeymoon period, Holmes and Cruise called it quits after just six years of marriage.
And despite the fact that they seem to have had virtually no contact with one another in the years since their 2012 divorce, the contentious nature of their split continues to make both actors tabloid staples.
Sources close to the situation say Cruise has not seen daughter Suri in four years.
This, despite the fact that he’s been in the same city as the 12-year-old on numerous occasions.
But while he seems to have little interest in being a father to his daughter, Cruise continues to closely monitor the actions of both Suri and her long-suffering mother.
According to a new report from Life & Style, Holmes believes the Church of Scientology has been spying on her for years in order to ensure that she doesn’t engage in any activities that might undermine the organization and its reputation.
“Tom does still have control over Katie,” a source tells the tabloid, adding that Holmes still needs to consider whether Cruise would approve before making any major decisions.
“She paid a price to escape him.”
The insider adds that Katie has no doubt she’s being continuously monitored by CoS operatives:
“Katie wondered if she was even being spied on by church employees in her own home,” the source claims.
While the allegations that Holmes is under surveillance remain unconfirmed, there’s no question that she’s been constrained by the terms of a very strict nondisclosure agreement.
“She could lose custody of Suri [Cruise]. It’s quite sick, really,” says former Scientologist and anti-cult activist Leah Remini.
“She’s been muzzled about saying much about Tom or Scientology as part of the agreement she signed after she filed for divorce,” the anonymous insider says of Holmes’ situation.
“And those agreements don’t have an end date. It doesn’t look like there will ever be a time that his specter isn’t looming over her and Suri.”
Fortunately, Katie isn’t entirely alone in her struggle against Tom and the powerful organization for whom he serves as a global spokesman:
The informant says Cruise’s second wife Nicole Kidman has reached out to Holmes and offered support:
“Katie and Nicole have spoken about raising their daughters to be independent and giving them a solid education, which is the opposite of Scientology teachings,” the insider claims.
“Just living their lives is their way of moving on from the Church of Scientology.”
Sadly, it seems that like their mothers, Cruise’s children will never be fully free of the CoS and its pernicious influence.

Katie Holmes: Clinging to Jamie Foxx Relationship Despite Being "Publicly Humiliated"
While there’s never been any sort of public confirmation, it’s common knowledge Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have been dating for at least the past two years.
The relationship has been a subject of intense tabloid interest, and there was even a time when it was rumored that Holmes was pregnant with Foxx’s baby.
Throughout all of this, both parties have kept mum on the subject of their semi-public romance — and now it seems we may know why that is.
Sources close to the couple say Foxx refuses to fully commit to Holmes.
Apparently, she would be happy to confirm that they’re dating, but he refuses to be tied down.
One insider says Holmes is “humiliated” by Foxx’s reluctance to acknowledge their relationship, but claims she can’t bring herself to break up with him.
“No one understands why Katie loves a man who can’t seem to commit or why he’s publicly humiliating her like this,” the source said.
“Everyone just wants her to take care of herself and to be happy. But she won’t let go of Jamie.”
The insider adds that in recent weeks, Foxx has made no secret of his dalliances with other women, thus exacerbating Holmes’ embarrassment.
The actress was reportedly infuriated by photos of Foxx spending the Fourth of July with ex-girlfriend Kristen Grannis.
Katie was reportedly overseas with daughter Suri at the time.
A different source concedes that Holmes is frustrated by Foxx’s unwillingness to commit, but claims she’s ultimately happy with their relationship.
“[Holmes] has fun with [Foxx] when they are together,” the informant claims.
“It’s a relationship that works for her.”
Unfortunately for Katie, she doesn’t have the luxury of privacy while she attempts to figure out how to proceed from here.
Her relationship remains a topic of widespread fascination — despite the fact that she and Jamie have never even appeared in public as a couple.
Just last month, reps for Holmes denied that she and Foxx called off a wedding and broke up.
Interestingly, he refused to confirm or deny that they were an official couple.

Katie Holmes & Suri Cruise Cuddle Adorably
Katie Holmes was once a high-profile actress whose fame seemed inescapable. A lot has changed over the years.
But what matters most is that she has her daughter, Suri, who is super adorable and the greatest treasure in Katie’s life.
And in these new photos, Katie shows off her precious daughter as they watch the Oscars and as they cuddle on the couch.
It is widely believed that Suri Cruise hasn’t seen Tom Cruise in about five years.
That’s a long time for anyone, but half a lifetime for a child Suri’s age.
(Suri is currently 11 years old, and will turn 12 this April)
Though Suri isn’t as public of a celebrity child as some, her mother doesn’t hide her from the world. Through Katie’s instagram, fans have gotten to watch Suri grow up.
And these new photos are such a treat.
Katie Holmes shared this new pic, captioning it:
“Congratulations to all of the nominees and winners!!!!!!!”
That’s Suri Cruise, clapping in celebration as she watches the Academy Awards.

But it’s this next photo that will really melt the hearts of fans.
In it, Katie and Suri can be seen snuggling on the couch.
Mommy-daughter cuddle time sometimes becomes a rarity as children age and naturally become more independent.

If you think that this photo is adorable, know that Instagram commenters agree. They wrote:
“Nothing better than a mother’s unconditional love for her children,” followed by a string of red heart emojis.
Another commended Katie for capturing the photo.
“Sweet memories captured; mommy cuddles are the best.”
The photo’s caption, for the record, was nothing but heart emojis. So sweet.
“Nothing like it mama — great job keeping it real with your daughter.”
This comment likely came from a British fan:
“What a wonderful mummy you are to your baby girl.”
Actually it was Tom Cruise who appeared in 2017’s disastrous The Mummy … never mind.
We should note that some of the comments, though positive, took a different tone.
“So glad you guys got away from that weirdo!”
In case anyone is scratching their heads, that commenter is almost certainly referring to Tom Cruise, known for his eccentricity in interviews and for being Scientology’s golden boy. Even though he’s old now.
Another commenter was thinking similarly:
“Thank goodness, you got your baby away from that cult Scientology.”
Many share that sentiment.
Though Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are reportedly dating, it’s said that Foxx doesn’t even discuss the relationship with his friends.
Some believe that Katie may have just decided that, since her last relationship was arguably the most high-profile romance on the planet at the time, she wants to keep things low-key.
Maybe so.
Others, however, have long believed that Katie was able to escape from the Church of Scientology with Suri by making some sort of deal — that Tom would waive custody if Katie, presumably, doesn’t embarrass him or the Church.
And maybe part of that involves no high-profile romances. That’s just speculation.
Reports have backed up parts of those rumors, claiming that Tom won’t see Suri because of his religious and career dedication.
And perhaps because Suri and Katie may qualify as Suppressive People and therefore be the sorts he may feel a need to, as a Scientologist, avoid.
The fact of the matter is that we just don’t know. What we do know is that Suri seems happy and healthy with her mommy.

Jamie Foxx Gets Asked Katie Holmes, Responds Like THIS
Jamie Foxx seems like a fun-loving guy.
And he and Katie Holmes seem like one of the more stable couples in Hollywood.
But this doesn"t mean Jamie Foxx actually wants to discuss Katie Holmes in public.
The Academy Award nominee made that clear on Friday night during an interview with ESPN"s Michael Smith.
Talking to the network prior to a celebrity basketball game, Foxx was asked the following question by Smith, who referenced a rumor about an activity in which he and Holmes recently engaged:
“I know you prepared because I saw pictures. Did you and Katie Holmes play basketball for Valentine’s Day? Like some real Love and Basketball?”
Pretty innocent, right?
It"s not as though Foxx was asked whether Holmes was pregnant with his baby.
But it wasn"t innocent enough for the actor.
You can see him squirm and smirk in the following video, clearly uncomfortable with the inquiry and unsure how to respond.
And then he figured out that he had no interest in responding.
Foxx calmly got up, received some help taking his microphone off and slowly walked away.
He didn"t cause a major scene, he just decided he had enough of the interview once it got remotely personal.
Foxx and Holmes have been together for about five years. This is a very serious romance,.
But it"s also one of the most private ones in all of entertainment, which may be why it works for them and may be why Foxx didn"t want to discuss it.
About that basketball rumor, though?
About how they were seen on a court in Calabasas?
“They were really happy,” an onlooker told Us Weekly of their Valentine"s Day date, adding:
“Katie was dancing as they walked in and Jamie was laughing. They seem really at ease and truly enjoying each other.”

Katie Holmes: DEMANDING That Tom Cruise See Suri?
Though he ranks among the most secretive stars in Hollywood, Tom Cruise has been unable to hide certain unsavory aspects of his private life from public view.
And we’re sure it won’t come as much of a surprise that many of the skeletons in Cruise’s closet are related – directly or otherwise – to his involvement with the Church of Scientology.
Cruise’s divorce from Katie Holmes is said to be a result of his devotion to a religion that’s widely considered to be a dangerous cult.
Scientology has strict rules about interactions with non-believers – deemed Suppressive Persons, or SPs – in the parlance of the faithful.
As a result, Cruise reportedly has little to no contact with Holmes, and sources close to the actor say he hasn’t seen daughter Suri in nearly four years.
Obviously, it’s upsetting to hear that any father hasn’t seen his 11-year-old daughter since she was just 7.
But it’s even more troubling when the father regularly demands 8-figure salaries and has the means to visit his youngest child at anytime.
Insiders say Suri has begun to come to terms with her father’s absence in her life.
But it seems Katie is less accepting of Tom’s decision to cut ties with their daughter.
Sources tell In Touch that Katie is currently doing everything in her power to reunite Tom and Suri, but thus far, her efforts have fallen flat.
“She truly wants Tom to be a part of Suri’s life,” says one insider.
It seems the reason for Katie’s desire to witness the reconciliation is quite simple:
“Tom is Suri’s father,” the source says, “and she wants them to have a relationship.”
Unfortunately, Katie’s pleas to Tom have apparently fallen on deaf ears.
“Nobody knows why he hasn’t spoken to her about Suri. It’s frustrating,” says the source.
There’s been no confirmation that Tom has cut ties with Suri in accordance with the wishes of Scientologist leaders, but those familiar with the situation say they can’t imagine any other reason that the actor would be so callous.
Fortunately, for young Suri, there’s a silver lining to the very dark cloud of her father’s absence.
Katie is dating Jamie Foxx these days, and sources say he’s eagerly filled the role of father figure to Suri.

Katie Holmes: PREGNANT With Jamie Foxx"s Baby?!
After several months of the couple trying and failing to keep their relationship on the down-low, we now know that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are dating.
We still don’t know exactly how long the actors have been together, but it seems they’re moving very quickly.
Despite the fact that Foxx doesn’t even tell his friends about Holmes (The man is seriously committed to maintaining his privacy.), sources say the relationship is already very serious.
In fact, sources are now claiming that there’s a very good reason Holmes and Foxx decided to finally go public with their relationship last week.
According to Australian tabloid NW, Holmes and Foxx are expecting a child together.
Insiders tell the magazine that the pregnancy was planned, and Katie is roughly three months along.
“Katie had always wanted to have another baby and knew her biological clock was ticking – and, at long last, it’s happening!” says one source.
Noting that Holmes described the pregnancy as “perfect timing,” the insider adds:
“Katie’s always wanted a sibling for Suri and now she’ll have a little sister.”
We’ll hold off on offering out congratulations until the news comes from a source that’s slightly more credible than a random Austalian tabloid.
That said, we wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out there’s some truth to these reports.
After all, Katie and Jamie are both devoted parents, and sources close to the couple have confirmed they’re relationship is very serious.
Plus, after the experience of having a child with Tom Cruise, we imagine Katie would like to find out what child-rearing is like when you’re not under 24-hour surveillance from a cabal of cult leaders.
Just kidding, Scientologists! Please don’t sue us!
Anyway, sources say that in the years after her split from Cruise, Katie pretty much holed up and devoted herself thoroughly to being a mom.
These days, she’s loosening up a bit, and her loved ones credit Foxx with teaching her how to relax and have fun.
“She was a homebody,” says one insider.
“It’s great to see her out and having fun, and I bet Jamie has played a big part in that.”
Hopefully, the knowledge that everyone will now be scrutinizing her midsection in search of a baby bump won’t stop Katie from continuing to go out and enjoy herself.
