Cardi B: I Could MURDER Nicki Minaj With Diss Tracks ... But I Won"t

Last month, Cardi B literally attacked Nicki Minaj. Words flew, and so did shoes. This beef is intense.

Fortunately, Cardi’s next planned attack will be in the form of music, not projectiles. And her diss track is coming along.

But apparently her lyrics are so biting and insulting that her own crew is begging her to tone it down.

Cardi B is not happy with Nicki Minaj.

This time, at least, her feud is going to be channeled into music.

That’s what the fans want, and it should also help Cardi avoid getting arrested for assault again.

But TMZ reports that though a lot from the diss track has been recorded, the people around Cardi are imploring her to remove some lyrics.

The reason? Her lyrics are just too vicious.

In fact, apparently some members of Cardi B’s team worry that this could backfire.

Not every diss track destroys its intended target.

Their fear is that Cardi’s lyrics might actually help Nicki, potentially by boosting her public image.

This could mean that the lyrics are so cruel that people will feel sorry for Nicki.

It could also mean that Cardi could just be giving Nicki more attention.

Cardi’s team feel that her career has already surpassed Nicki.

Between Cardi’s baby and secret marriage and even her arrest weeks ago, she is big news this year.

People still listen to “Bodak Yellow,” but it’s been a little while since Nicki had that level of undeniable social relevance.

Her team’s analysis says that ignoring Nicki is the best way to keep her down.

As for Cardi, though, she is said to feel that the only way to “keep it real” with her music is to really lay into Nicki.

Cardi is big on authenticity.

TMZ notes that Nicki and Cardi have not met face to face since their messy fight at the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS Party.

That sounds like it is for the best.

In the aftermath, Nicki threated to literally murder Cardi, which is a hell of a thing.

Cardi vowed to whoop Nicki’s ass, of course.

Sometimes it is difficult to see where brand-mandated posturing ends and genuine loathing begins.

But this feud looks like the real deal.

Cardi’s recent arrest for assault was not over her blowup with Nicki.

Instead, it was over the alleged incident in which Cardi B ordered the beating of a pair of strip club employees.

Two women, who are sisters as well as bartenders at a strip club, say that they were assaulted by Cardi’s entourage.

One woman, the real target, said that she had been attacked by people close to Cardi before, she believed on Cardi’s orders.

The reason for the attack was apparently that Cardi believed that one woman had banged her husband, Offset.

Ordering an assault because you suspect cheating is, needless to say, never okay.

Death threats, literal fights, and assaults are toxic.

In the rap world, these kinds of feuds can get people killed. Neither Cardi nor Nicki could actually want that, right?

Lyrics might just be words, but it could be an escalation that keeps this feud from dying.

We’d love to hear Cardi’s diss tracks and Nicki’s clapback, of course.

But we hope that all of this animosity stays on people’s music and doesn’t spill over into real life — again.

Donald Trump Responds to Robert DeNiro Diss: You Talkin" To Me?!

Brace yourselves, folks — this story is more New York than Martin Scorsese fighting with a cab driver about Reggie Jackson’s favorite bagel.

It all started when Robert DeNiro shared his thoughts about Donald Trump at the Sunday night’s Tony Awards.

DeNiro’s speech was a long and impassioned one, but both Trump and the internet have very short attention spans, so the quote you probably saw everywhere the next day was a terse, two-word summation:

“F-ck Trump!” said the esteemed actor to an ecstatic crowd.

Now, DeNiro may have made a career out of playing boorish foul-mouthed gangsters, but Donald Trump actually is one, should come as no surprise that the president handled the diss about as well as Joe Pesci being told to go home and get his shine box.

“Robert De Niro, a very Low IQ individual, has received to many shots to the head by real boxers in movies,” Trump tweeted on Tuesday night.

“I watched him last night and truly believe he may be ‘punch-drunk.’”

There’s a lot to unpack here:

For one thing, Donald Trump apparently believes that everything he sees on a movie screen actually happened.

Yes, DeNiro took a lot of shots to the head in Raging Bull.

He also shot a bunch of pimps in Taxi Driver, but we’re pretty sure he didn’t do those things in real life.

Please, no one take Trump to see Infinity War.

He’ll be tweeting nuclear threats to Thanos before the lights come up.

Anyway, on top of all that, the president used the wrong “to” in a tweet where he’s making fun of someone’s intelligence.

We guess Kim Kardashian’s not the only one who’s desperate for Twitter to add an “edit” button.

Believe it or not, the Donald continued his rant from there, tweeting:

“I guess he doesn’t realize the economy is the best it’s ever been with employment being at an all time high, and many companies pouring back into our country.

“Wake up Punchy!” he added.

Is this actually a clever promotional campaign, and Wake Up Punchy is a new direct-to-DVD comedy starring DeNiro and Adam Sandler?

Because that’s pretty much the only way this story could get any more ridiculous.

Audrey Roloff Outrages Fans Over Baby Formula Diss

Over the first few weeks of her foray into motherhood, Audrey Roloff was very candid about her difficulty breastfeeding.

The Little People, Big World star talked at length about her battle against mastitis and how VERY painful this condition caused it to be when she brought baby Ember up to her chest to suckle.

Or even when she tried to pump.

“I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the pain that I’ve experienced while breast feeding has been comparable to unmedicated labor contractions,” Audrey said last fall, adding:

“Inevitably, all of this has left me feeling like I am failing my baby, frustrated, discouraged, and heart ached.”

We felt terrible for Roloff at the time and we still do. That must have been awful.

On this past Tuesday’s episode of her family’s reality show, however, Audrey elaborated on just why this experience was so awful for her and… well…

… we feel a tiny bit less bad because her view on the topic seems so effed up.

Acknowledging the aforementioned challenge she had with breastfeeding early on, Audrey said the following in a Little People, Big World confessional:

“We just don’t have feeding figured out yet. It just didn’t come easy for me, my body, for her.”

That part of the admission was fine and understandable.

And also very relatable; plenty of new mothers and new human beings need awhile to figure the whole breastfeeding thing out.

During a checkup just a week after giving birth, though, Audrey was told by a doctor that, if her baby wasn’t getting enough sustenance via breast milk, then Audrey and Jeremy would need to supplement with formula.

This is also something very common among new parents.

But Audrey simply was NOT having it.

And her reason for why has angered quite a few people on the World Wide Web.

“I was very adamant about breastfeeding exclusively. Formula is like a sin,” she actually said.

It does sound like Audrey eventually gave in (“I never thought I would do that, but at the same time I need to feed my baby so we have to do it.”), which at last makes us breathe a sigh of relief.

At least she wasn’t extreme enough in this view to actually harm her child.

But… formula is like a sin?!? Excuse her?!?

As you might imagine, many social media users were outraged that she would utter such a thing.

“‘Formula is a sin,’ girl shut the f–k up,” one fan Tweeted succinctly, while another said:

“Did she say, ‘Formula was a sin?’ I want to slap her.”

And one fan pointed out, “Oh Audrey, formula is not a sin. Fed baby is all that matters.”

audrey critique

Seriously, right?

If Audrey feels this way, we guess she’s entitled to that somewhat ridiculous opinion. (Okay, totally ridiculous opinion.)

But to come out and make such a public statement is casting quite the judgmental net over millions of women, many of whom have no choice but to use formula and all of whom just want what is best for their child.

What is sinful about that?!?

Audrey, it should be noted, has not commented on this controversy or issued any sort of apology.

The TLC personality is very open about her faith, as anyone who followers her on Instagram knows well.

She often tries to be encouraging to her fellow mothers, too, recently writing a message online that concluded as follows:

“Moms… You’re not the only one who has been criticized or glared at for doing something wrong. I have too. You’re not the only one.

“You’re not alone. Even though you might feel like it sometimes, we are all figuring out this motherhood thing as we go.

So I’ll be here.

“Sharing what I’ve learned, where I’ve failed and how the Lord is encouraging, empowering, and equipping me as I embrace all that it means to be a mother.”

It’s a nice sentiment.

But perhaps Roloff should have considered how her “sin” talk would make these same mothers feel before she made the remark.

Beyonce Blasts Kim Kardashian with Diss Track Lyrics

While Kim Kardashian was busy trying to figure out a way to take down Kylie Jenner — or at least one-up her younger sister as they vie to be Most Successful Kardashian — she should have been wary of someone else.

Beyonce’s come out with some new lyrics that appear to be taking aim at Kim Kardashian.

This feud is heating up again!

It’s true that Beyonce is notorious for dropping new music or explosive new music videos without notice, allowing her art to promote itself through word of mouth and social media as a display of her power and impact.

But no, Beyonce didn’t just drop another Lemonade on us last night.

Instead, she’s lent her considerable talents to DJ Khaled, being featured in his song “Top Off.”

Actually, both Beyonce and Jay-Z are featured — and so is Future, for that matter.

But it’s Queen Bey who’s getting the most attention. In part because she’s Beyonce.

In part, however, because her lyrics appear to be taking direct aim at Kim Kardashian.

Here are the lyrics in question:

“I’m the only lady here, still the realest n–ga in the room.”

The other individuals would be Jay-Z, DJ Khaled, and Future, one assumes.

“I break the internet, top two and I ain’t number two.”

That line sounds innocuous enough as well as a round-about way of calling oneself number one but, as we’ll explain, it appears to be a Kim Kardashian diss track.

And so does:

“My body, my ice, my cash, all real, I’m a triple threat.”

Then there are some lyrics that mesh a little more directly with DJ Khaled’s song but aren’t necessarily as relevant to this.

(And then there’s another fairly direct call-out but we’ll get to that in a moment)

Let’s start with that line about her body and her wealth and her ice being “all real.”

Ice, of course, is a reference to jewelry not being fake. As for wealth, Jay-Z revealed in his 4:11 album that Kanye is apparently in debt to him. Is Beyonce implying that maybe Kanye’s wealth is at least partially an illusion?

But it’s been rumored time and time again that Kim Kardashian’s body is the result of plastic surgery. Or that, at the very least, she’s had a little work done to keep herself looking her best.

Kim has spoken out about these rumors on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, saying that they’re not true.

When Beyonce says that she breaks the internet, it could not more clearly be a reference to Kim’s epic Paper photo.

Whether in lust or awe or confusion or shock or a newfound definition of how humans could look, Kim Kardashian’s infamous viral photo was everywhere a few years back.

Obviously, the photo did no damage to the internet, but merely received a tremendous amount of attention.

Beyonce also receives a tremendous amount of attention — for her songs, for her music videos, for her activism.

Her jab at Kim may go beyond saying that she’s better.

Beyonce may be highlighting that Kim’s most powerful social media presence tends to come from her body, rather than from creative output.

Of course, Kim Kardashian wasn’t the only person at whom Beyonce took aim with her lyrics on this song.

“Two deep, it’s just me and JAY / Just posted in them courtside seats.”

And then:

“Woo! I’m like “hol’ up / Woo! I might roll up \ If they’re tryna party with the queen / They gon’ have to sign a non-disclosure, ayy”

That has been identified by numerous fans as a clear reference to Tiffany Haddish revealing too much about Beyonce recently.
