Eminem just unleashed on Machine Gun Kelly in an extremely homophobic diss track that hit everything from MGK’s career to his own daughter. Em dropped “Killshot” Friday in response to MGK’s diss track, “Rap Devil,” that he dropped last week. In it,…

Eminem Drops Surprise Album; Internet Loses Its Mind
Guess who’s back. Back Again. Shady’s back.
Tell … well, actually you don’t need to tell anyone, because apparently, every single person on Twitter found out about Eminem’s new album while you were sleeping last night.
Yes, just four months after the release of his twelfth release, Revival, Eminem is back with another full-length album.
The rapper announced the surprise project at midnight on Friday with a tweet reading simply:
“Tried not 2 overthink this 1… enjoy.”
And with that Kamikaze was released unto the world, and the reaction from fans to everything from the album’s Beastie Boys-inspired cover art to its byzantine wordplay has been downright rapturous.
The 13-track collection comes on the heels of the prolific period in Eminem’s career.
He first announced his return to the hip-hop scene back in … with a blistering freestyle attacking Donald Trump that debuted at the BET Awards.
On Kamikaze, Em addresses the controversy over those verses and reveals that he was the subject of a Secret Sewrvice investigation:
“Sent the Secret Service to meet in person / To see if I really think of hurtin’ him / Or ask if I’m linked to terrorists,” he raps at tone point.
While Mr. Mathers was brutal in his initial assessment of Trump supporters, he now says he’s more likely to view them as victims, rather than villains:
“I empathize with the people this evil serpent sold the dream to that he’s deserted,” he raps.
Other targets who incur Em’s famous wrath over the course of the album include various “Lil” rappers (Xan, Pump, Yachty, et. al.)
The legendary emcee really brings the knives out when addressing feuds with Tyler, the Creator, Machine Gun Kelly and Joe Budden.
“I see why you called yourself a faggot, bitch,” Em says of Tyler, a line that’s sure to attract some serious criticism.
Elsewhere on the album, Slim Shady admits that he was unhappy with the lukewarm critical reception that greeted his last album.
Many fans see this new release as a sort of do-over, an attempt to make things right with fans who may have been disappointed by Revival.
Whatever the case, Em has proven that he’s still one of the most dynamic forces in hip-hop, becoming a worldwide trending topic on Twitter just minutes after releasing his latest.

Eminem Panics Crowd with Gunshot Sound Effects, Isn"t Sorry
Last year, viewers slammed Eminem"s performance. They called him a hack and a has been. Hey, everone"s a critic, right?
Now, however, he"s being criticized for something much more serious — for setting off gunshot noises at his concert.
The crowd visibly ducked in fear. And he"s getting dragged for making thousands of people think that they were about to die in a hail of bullets.
The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, most often known as Bonnaroo, isa four-day music festival that takes place each summer in Manchester, Tennessee.
If you live in Tennessee or any of the surrounding states, this is the festival that your friends who are willing to brave musicals attend each year.
Unfortunately, some concert-goers received a serious fright.
During his song, "Kill You," pyrotechnics produced a chillingly realistic gunshot noise.
So much so that, as you can see in the video that we included, the crowd was ducking in fear.
The video quickly circulated on Twitter, inciting outrage.
"Less than a year after Vegas and @Eminem thinks it’s a good idea to blast gun shot sfx onstage at a music festival? Bad call on this headliner @bonnaroo. What happened to Radiate Positivity?"
The Las Vegas shooting that claimed dozens of lives and wounded hundreds took place at the beginning of last October.
Many of the victims had attended a Jason Aldean concert.
For concert-goers to hear very realistic gunshot noises … it seems very natural for so many of them to instinctively fear for their lives.
That doesn"t sound like a good time.
Eminem is no stranger to controversy.
His team responded that these were not actual "gunshot" noises, but pyrotechnic concussion effects featuring a sonic boom. That seems like splitting hairs, but whatever.
As always, his diehard fans were eager to jump to his defense.
One person took to Twitter to refer to a previous performance of "Kill You."
"You can hear the same sound at the end you idiots. Watch some Eminem performance before going to one."
That"s a little harsh.
"So you grew up listening to Eminem but you didn’t expect gun shot sounds on his set."
Well, some would argue that it"s a different experience when mass shootings are so common.
"The gunshot actually makes the performance 10 times better."
We"ll take that person"s word for it.
Some have argued that legislation should curtail this sort of element within a performance.
There would be legal precedent. A famous First Amendment exception to free speech is using that speech to do harm, such as shouting "fire" in a crowded theater.
Many would say that Eminem setting off such realistic sounding gunshots is the equivalent, and could provoke the crowd to trample each other in fear.
After all, actual mass shootings occur multiple times per week, thanks to the widespread and virtually unchecked availability of tools designed for killing.
Gunshots in music online or in other media (such as films) is different, as it comes with a visual context and is not usually consumed in massive, dense crowds of people who are standing shoulder-to-shoulder.
Are gunshot effects in concerts a threat to concert-goers?
Were Eminem"s diehard defenders right to criticize fans for freaking out at the sounds of gunshots, since they were expected by many as part of the show?
Or were concert-goers right to react instinctively — better safe than sorry — and were critics right to condemn the use of the sounds?
Maybe the problem has nothing to do with the audience, the critics, or even Eminem.
Maybe living every single day with the knowledge that we could die in a hail of bullets while going to a theater or using mass transit or attending school or a house of worship is the culprit.
Perhaps fixing our nation"s gun culture and gun epidemic will help to repair some of the other fractures and conflicts in our society.
And people won"t have any reason to fear attending a concert.

Eminem Teases Crowd with Nicki Minaj Relationship Jokes
Eminem and Nicki Minaj aren’t dating … but they’re certainly having fun with the idea. The rapper was headlining the Boston Calling festival Sunday night when he addressed the rumors — in jest — asking the crowd for their approval of the hip hop…

Nicki Minaj: Yes, I"m Dating Eminem!
Move over, Jay and Beyonce!
There’s a new hip-hop power couple in town and what they lack in friendships with the Obamas, they make up for with verses about anilingus and Vicodin.
Yes, after a week of rumors, Nicki Minaj confirmed this morning that she’s dating Eminem … or did she?
Em and Nicki have been friends since collaborating on her 2010 single “Roman’s Revenge.”
But the speculation that there’s a romantic element to their relationship began when Minaj name-dropped Mr. Mathers on a more recent song:
“Uh oh / Back again / Back to back Maybach, stack the M’s,” Minaj raps on the newly-released “Big Bank.”
“Told ‘em I met Slim Shady, bag the M / Once he go black, he’ll be back again.”
But hey, it’s just a song, and rappers make empty boasts all the time, right?
Well, we’d probably be quick to dismiss the line for exactly those reasons, were it not for the exchange that took place between Nicki and a curious fan on Instagram this morning.
When the fan asked point-blank, “You dating Eminem???” Nicki replied simply, “Yes.”
“I’m just chillin’ right now. I’m celibate,” Nicki told Ellen DeGeneres.
“I wanted to go a year without dating any man. I hate men.”
Maybe she just meant she hates men who have never recorded songs n that elaborately fantasize about murdering their ex-wives.
We kid Em and Nicki because we love them!
And we would love very much if they turned out to be a legit couple.
Meek is legit, but before him, Nicki dated Safaree Samuels for over a decade, and that dude is basically what would happen if George Costanza were a wannabe rapper.
Em, of course, was married to Kim Mathers, who’s also the worst (though she certainly didn’t deserve to be repeatedly murdered in song form.
The point is, these two titans of rap deserve both deserve to date bonafide bosses, and the music to spring from this relationship would be [700 fire emojs].
Now we just need to set Pusha T up with Azealia Banks and future generations of hip-hop heads will be good to go.
Nicki Minaj Says She"s Dating Eminem in Instagram Post
Nicki Minaj just sent the internet in a frenzy, confirming to a fan that she’s dating Eminem. Minaj has been on a social media tear lately, promoting new music and her upcoming album. She posted a clip on Instagram Thursday rapping along to her…

Eminem: I"m Ten Years Sober!
Big news for Eminem this weekend …
He just announced that Friday marked ten whole years of being clean and sober!
“Celebrated my 10 years yesterday,” he wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of his ten-year chip from his recovery program.
And really, isn’t this just amazing?
Eminem doesn’t do too many interviews, but in an old one from 2011, he explained just how bad things got before he was able to get clean.
Apparently his drug problem began back in 2002, when he was filming 8 Mile.
He said that the days were very long, and he was only able to sleep at certain times, so to help him out, someone gave him an Ambien.
He enjoyed it and got a prescription, and after building a tolerance, he slowly began taking more than he was supposed to take at a time.
“Then,” he said, “when I got off probation for my felonies and I didn’t have to drop urine anymore, the reins came off,” and when he went on tour in 2005, “I was f-cked up every night.”
After that, Em said that he felt like he needed to take pills to “feel normal,” and to get high he had to take “a ridiculous amount.”
“I want to say in a day I could consume anywhere from 40 to 60 Valium. And Vicodin … maybe 20, 30? I don’t know. I was taking a lot of sh-t.”
See what we mean about how amazing it is that he’s 10 years clean now?
But even though his addiction was clearly terrible then, things got even worse in 2006 when his friend and fellow rapper Proof was killed.
“I remember days I spent just f-cking taking pills and crying,” he recounted in the interview.
“It creeps me out sometimes to think of the person I was. I was a terrible person. I was mean to people. I treated people around me sh-tty.”
In December of 2007, he overdosed on methadone — he’d begun taking it because he was told it was similar to Vicodin.
He doesn’t remember much about the overdose, but he recalled collapsing in his bathroom and then waking up in the hospital. Doctors told him that he was “about two hours from dying.”
After a week in the hospital, he went home, but he hadn’t fully detoxed. He said that he was very weak, and he somehow tore the cartilage in his knee and required surgery.
But since he still had the methadone in his system, he had a seizure and had to go back to the hospital for a third time.
Remarkably, after surviving all that, he relapsed again a few weeks after being released, and he said that’s when he knew that “I either get help, or I am going to die.”
And apparently, judging by his new Instagram post, he finally became clean on April 20th, 2008!
As you probably know, Eminem has many, many diehard fans, so he received a whole, whole bunch of support after sharing this milestone.
So many people congratulated him on his achievement, and others shared that he had inspired them to get clean as well.
A few people suggested that this chip proves that he’s a member of the Illuminati, because you know there’s always some of those fools out there.
To celebrate his anniversary — or maybe not to celebrate, but hey, it’s happening — Eminem will be performing tonight at Coachella.
If you’re out there and happen to see him, be sure to applaud him for this!

Eminem SLAMS Donald Trump: Actual Poop Would Make a Better President!
If you thought that maybe Eminem was going to ease up on his anti-Trump views … come on, why would you think that?
You’re really just setting yourself up for failure with nonsense like this.
For a good long while now, Eminem has been very outspoken about his disdain for our president, from the diss track he released in 2016 to his freestyle at October’s BET Hip Hop Awards.
In the latter performance, he even spoke out against his fans who were also Trump supporters, saying that “any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his, I’m drawing a line in the sand.”
“You’re either for or against, and if you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split on who you should stand beside, I’ll do it for you with this.”
At this point, things got a little more visual — he simply flipped off the camera, making it clear that he’s not interested in sharing fans with Trump.
He continued his tirade on his new album, Revival, which contains several verses with similar themes.
And in a new interview with Billboard, he’s lashing out yet again.
“I know I say a lot of f-cked-up sh-t,” he says at one point. “But a lot of sh-t is said in jest, it’s tongue-in-cheek, and it has always been that way through my whole career — saying sh-t to get a reaction out of people.”
“It’s my artistic license to express myself.”
However, he adds, “Last time I checked, Trump isn’t an artist and doesn’t have an artistic license. I’m not the f-ckin’ president.”
He makes a fair point.
Later he was asked what he was doing on election night — he recalls that he was “watching the TV in f-cking disbelief,” and that he was “on the phone back and forth with friends, like, ‘He’s going to f-cking win."”
“I called it just from the rallies he was having when he first started running,” he continues. “Because just watching the impact he has, they were fanatics.”
“There is something to be said about the person who really felt like he might do something for them — and he just f-cking duped everybody.”
He says that he thinks Hillary Clinton “had her flaws,” but that “anything would have been better” than Trump.
He actually says that “A f-cking turd would have been better as president.”
We’ll never truly know, of course, or at least we probably won’t — at this point, who really knows? — but that sounds plausible, right?
“It’s just so f-cking disgusting how divisive his language is, the rhetoric, the Charlottesville sh-t, just watching it, going ‘I can’t believe he’s saying this,"” he says.
He also admits that after Trump’s statement on John McCain, he thought he was “done,” because “you’re f-cking with military veterans, you’re talking about a military war hero who was captured and tortured.”
“It just didn’t matter. It doesn’t matter. And that’s some scary sh-t to me.”
Us too, pal.
Eminem even says that while he may not have “hatred in my heart for him,” he does have “serious contempt.”
“I do not like the guy.”
As for his earlier remarks about not wanting to share fans with Trump, he says “At the end of the day, if I did lose half my fan base, then so be it, because I feel like I stood up for what was right and I’m on the right side of this.”
“I don’t see how somebody could be middle class, busting their ass every single day, paycheck to paycheck, who thinks that that f-cking billionaire is going to help you.”
Do you think Eminem is being too political, or is he on point with all of this?

Eminem Uses Grindr! Did He Just Come Out?!
Eminem is an intensely famous — and polarizing — rapper. From his persona life to his lyrics, he’s a deeply controversial figure.
Among other things, Eminem has been accused of homophobia more than once. Not unusual within rap lyrics, but also not acceptable.
So color us surprised when Eminem casually mentions that he’s been been looking for dates … using Grindr.
We want to give you background and we will, but this is so unexpected that we want you to go ahead and see what he said.
In an interview with Vulture, Eminem talks about what he’s been up to lately.
“Since my divorce, I’ve had a few dates and nothing’s panned out in a way that I wanted to make it public.”
That is a very, very common post-divorce experience.
“Dating’s just not where I’m at lately.”
Naturally, Eminem’s interviewer asked if he’d used any dating apps.
“Yeah, Tinder. And Grindr. I also used to go to strip clubs.”
Before we dive into that Grindr revelation — and it’s a lot — we should talk about the idea of a celebrity using regular-people dating apps.
Imagine flipping through Tinder to make some snap judgments about people’s faces, only to be shown the face of the guy whose music played at one of your middle school dances.
There are celebrities-only dating apps — like Raya — to prevent starstruck fans from using them to stalk their favorite celebs.
It may be that Eminem figured that he’d try his luck with those starstruck fans.
Also, just for the record, going to strip clubs seems like a terrible way to find a date. Also, strip clubs are definitely not an app.
As for the Grindr bit … it’s really, really hard to tell if Eminem was joking or not.
If so, he was probably joking about Tinder, too. If not … well, Grindr is just for dudes.
Grindr does have a straight version — but that’s called Blendr.
Just because it’s by the same people doesn’t mean that you can use the names interchangeably. If you get a new iPhone, you’re not going to refer to it as your MacBook Pro or whatever.
Grindr is for gay men and for bi men and for men who use other labels (or none at all), and while some folks use it to “make friends” and while it’s opening up to some nonbinary folks … it’s really, really not the app to use to meet women.
So, has Eminem been dating men?
Among various other controversies, as we said, Eminem has been accused of homophobia.
He’s been very casual about throwing around anti-gay slurs that we wouldn’t care to repeat, but when asked if he hates gay people by Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes, Eminem replied:
“No, I don’t have any problem with nobody. You know what I mean? I’m just like whatever.”
He’s also said that he grew up with those slurs and other anti-gay remarks thrown around as generic negative terms, rather than as anti-gay weapons.
We’d point out that the idea is to grow up and stop using those words. Eminem’s daughter is in college, which makes him more than old enough to have some self-awareness.
But have his offensive lyrics been some sort of veneer? Might Eminem be bisexual and casually revealing it in an interview?
Fans are divided.
Some fans on Twitter were freaking out:
“Eminem casually mentions in an interview he uses Grindr and the reporter DOESN’T follow up?? Worst journalism of the year.”
Others dismissed it as a joke:
“Am i missing something or is it not obvious the eminem grindr thing was a joke”
Billy Eichner seems to be taking it seriously:
“IMHO I don’t think Eminem was really joking when he said he uses Grindr. He is very smart and self-aware. I think he knows people will *think* he’s joking – and that his rep will say he’s joking – but I don’t think he’s joking. And good for him!”
Colton Haynes actually responded to Eichner’s tweet with:
“Didn’t u know he and I used to date?”
That, at least, we’re pretty sure is a joke. Maybe like … 80% joking. Probably.
We don’t really know if Eminem’s history of domestic violence accusations and homophobic lyrics are likely to get him welcomed into the LGBT+ community with open arms.
On the other hand, Eminem’s been singing about hating Trump a lot lately. That’s a solid way to endear himself to a majority of the country.

Eminem DESTROYS Donald Trump, Jokes About Murdering Ivanka on New Album!
Eminem has made it abundantly clear that he’s not a big fan of our current president.
(And seriously, how heartbreaking is it that we still have to refer to Donald Trump as “our current president”?)
He slammed Trump in a song he released in 2015, and in another he released in 2015, but his harshest criticism came in October when he shared a little freestyle at the BET Hip Hop Awards.
He touched on the controversy surrounding the professional athletes that have chosen to kneel during the national anthem before games as a form of protest and Trump’s ridiculous reaction to them.
“Now, if you’re a black athlete, you’re a spoiled little brat for trying to use your platform or your stature to try to give those a voice who don’t have one,” he rapped.
“He gets an enormous reaction when he attacks the NFL, so we focus on that instead of talking Puerto Rico or gun reform for Nevada. All these horrible tragedies and he’s bored and would rather cause a Twitterstorm with the Packers.”
Then, to his massive fan base, he stated “Any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his, I’m drawing a line in the sane. You’re either for or against, and if you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split on who you stand beside, I’ll do it for you with this.”
He then flipped off the camera, making it clear that he’s not interested in sharing fans with Trump.
It was all pretty intense, right?
But it looks like he was saving even more vitriol for his new album.
Eminem released the album, titled Revival, yesterday, and he dedicated an entire song to Trump. The song is called “Like Home,” and it features vocals by Alicia Keys.
He kicked off the very first verse with “Someone get this Aryan a sheet, time to bury him, so tell him to prepare to get impeached. Everybody on your feet.”‘
“This chump barely even sleeps, all he does is watch Fox News like a parrot and repeats while he looks like a canary with a beak.”
“Why you think he banned transgenders from the military with a tweet?” he asked. “He’s trying to divide us. The sh-t’s like a cult, but like Johnny he’ll only unite us. ‘Cause nothing inside drives us like this fight does.”
He admitted that “our spirits’ crushed” and it’s “hard to deal” with things right now, “but there’s always tomorrow still.”
“If we start from the scratch like a scab, get the scars to heal and band together for Charlottesville, and for Heather [Heyer, the woman killed in Charlottesville], fallen heroes.”
In the second verse though, he really went in on Trump:
Didn’t wanna piss your base off, did ya? / Can’t denounce the Klan, ‘cause they play golf with ya
You stay on Twitter, way to get your hate off / Nazi, I do not see a way y’all differ
And all you got are race cards / Better get the swastika with your name carved in it / Should be your trademark, ‘cause hate’s all you played off / And you just lick the plate off
So I guess it pays to feed off of chaos / So basically, you’re Adolf Hitler / But you ain’t ruining our country, punk / Or taking our pride from us, you won’t define us
‘Cause like a dictionary, things are looking up / So much, got a sprained beck, know we would rise up against this train wreck and take a stand
In the bridge, Alicia Keys sings “I won’t give up on my home, that so many died for, you already know that I won’t give up.”
It’s actually pretty emotional.
It’s also not the only time he mentions a Trump on the album — on a track called “Frame,” he gets a little less realistic and a lot, lot darker.
The song is all about murder and just awful, violent crimes — the point is that just because he says terrible things in his songs doesn’t mean he actually does them. It really is pretty dark.
In the second verse, he raps “Woke up, it was dawn, musta knew something was wrong. Think I’m becoming a monster ‘cause of the drugs that I’m on. Donald Duck’s on as the Tonka Trunk in the yard.”
“But dog, how the f-ck is Ivanka Trump in the trunk of my car? Gotta get to the bottom of it to try to solve it. Must go above and beyond, ‘cause it’s incumbent upon me, ‘cause I feel somewhat responsible for the dumb little blonde.”
So yes, it seems pretty safe to say that he has a whole, whole lot of anger for this entire family.
Do you think Eminem is going too far with these new songs?

Eminem SLAMMED for Saturday Night Live Performance!
It"s official: Eminem is back!
Well, it"s not like he was ever officially gone — though it"s been four years since he released his last album, he"s recorded a few songs here and there.
But right now he"s preparing for the release of his latest album, Revival. We don"t know exactly when the album will drop, but this month he shared the first single, "Walk on Water."
To promote the album, he performed the single on this week"s episode of Saturday Night Live, and while Beyonce wasn"t there — she sings on the album track — his longtime collaborator Skylar Grey was.
And since he had a lady singer there with him, he took the opportunity to perform two of his old hits along with his new one — after "Walk on Water," they did bits from "Stan" and "Love the Way You Lie."
Considering all that, it should have been amazing, right?
Eminem fans should have lost their collective mind.
But unfortunately, that"s just not what happened.
People were ruthless in their reactions to his performance, and, as always, they took to Twitter to express their displeasure.
"I would rather listen to the woman on the piano sing a dozen songs than try to understand what Eminem is saying for one rap," one person wrote.
Another said that "As a USED to be fan I checked in to see what was up….. #stfu #wtf was this [poop emoji] #pathetic attempt. Just retire into the trailer park you"re #nothing anymore."
One person tweeted directly to Eminem, telling him that he is "a washed up hack" and "no one wants to see someone"s dad who can barely grow a beard mumble some "rhymes" on SNL."
In perhaps the most harsh criticism of them all, one person even wrote "I"m not sure Rihanna could have saved that performance as good as she is."
Even some of his diehard fans were willing to admit that perhaps the performance wasn"t his best — one of them tweeted "So what @Eminem didn"t have his best performance on #SNL? He"s still a G.O.A.T."
Check out the video below and let us know what you think:

Eminem Gushes About Hailie Jade Mathers: She"s Better Than Her Parents!
Eminem has been back in the news lately for an unlikely reason.
If you’ve been anywhere near social media in the past week, then you now doubt caught at least a snippet of Em’s blistering anti-Trump rap that debuted at the BET Awards.
Yes, Em has always been a rabble-rouser and a trash talker, but his barbs are usually aimed at fellow musicians.
(That mop-headed dude from NSync is probably still in therapy.)
This time, Mr. Mathers set his sights on a far more powerful opponent, tearing Trump down with a succession of scathing putdowns that would make no doubt rendered the Orange One as speechless as Anthony Mackie at the end of 8 Mile.
Best of all, the rapper released the acapella diss barrage with the full knowledge that many of his fans are also Trump supporters, exhorting red staters to pick a side in one of the track’s most memorable lines.
It was a pleasant for hip hop fans, as Em has reached the point in his career where he could never record another track and still be remembered as a legend of the genre.
But believe it or not, it’s not his music career that the 44-year-old emcee is most proud of.
(And no, it’s not his epic beard that somehow became a trending topic when he debuted it earlier this year.)
As Em is always happy to tell interviewers (on the rare occasion he grants interviews. Come to think of it, is he ever really happy?) his proudest achievement is raising his daughter Hailie.
(Who, as fans know, came well after he was harrassed daily by this fat kid named D’Angelo Bailey.)
Like we said, Marshall doesn’t speak to the press very often, but a source slose to the rapper says he gushes about his 21-year-old offspring every chance he gets:
“Eminem is really proud of Hailie, she’s the very best of him and Kim,” the insider tells Hollywood Life.
“Hailie is smart, popular, motivated, kind, and really down to earth. Eminem was determined that his daughter would be raised out of the spotlight, as the last thing he wanted was a ‘showbiz kid’, and he really did a good job—considering the problems that both her mom and dad have had, she’s incredibly well balanced. “
The source concludes:
“Hailie is really committed to her studies, she works really hard, and she has a great head on her shoulders.”
“Popular” might be a massive understatement, as new photos of Hailie go viral amongst Em obsessives about once a month.
We like to think they’re not being internet pervs and are just thrilled with the way she turned out, having essentially witnessed the girl’s upbringing through Em’s music.
While it’s the disses that might be most remembered by casual fans, those who have pored over the Detroit rapper’s lyrics know that family has always been one of his favorite themes.
In the early days, he argued (quite convincingly) that his lack of a healthy upbringing had left him permnanetly damaged.
These days, it seems he’s been rescues by his love for his daughter.
It’s a hell of a happy ending for a man who likely never would have predicted one for himself.

Eminem Utterly Destroys Donald Trump in This Rap
Eminem has a few things he would like to say to Donald Trump.
At last night’s BET Hip Hop Awards, the rapper made a surprise appearance in a pre-taped freestyle cypher that made it clear he"s been paying VERY close attention to the Trump administration.
And he has a few critiques.
For instance:
“We better give Obama props ’cause what we got in office now is a kamikaze that’ll probably cause a nuclear holocaust," Eminem says in reference to Trump"s insane responses to North Korea of late.
What about the fact that Trump hired known white supremacist Steve Bannon as a strategist?
And that he basically defended neo-Nazis after their protest in Charlottesville this summer?
“From his endorsement of Bannon, support for the Klansmen, tiki torches in hand/For the soldier that’s black and comes home from Iraq and is still told to go back to Africa."
Of late, meanwhile, Trump has been attempting to please his base by slamming athletes who do not stand for the national anthem.
And Eminem has thoughts on this ridiculousness as well.
“Now, if you’re a black athlete, you’re a spoiled little brat for/Trying to use your platform or your stature to try to give those a voice who don’t have one…
"He gets an enormous reaction when he attacks the NFL, so we focus on that/Instead of talking Puerto Rico or gun reform for Nevada/All these horrible tragedies and he’s bored and would rather cause a Twitterstorm with the Packers.”
Practically out of breath, Eminem pauses to say the following:
“This is for Colin/Ball up a fist."
At one point, Eminem also calls out his own fan base.
And any fan of mine who"s a supporter of his/I’m drawing in the sand a line/You"re either for or against/And if you can"t decide who you like more and you"re split/On who you should stand beside/I’ll do it for you with this.
He then raises a middle finger to the camera.
Is Eminem the first celebrity to attack Donald Trump? God no.
But he doesn"t speak out often, so his words carry an impact.
Moreover, he has a MASSIVE online following: the rapper"s official Facebook page has more than 90 million Likes and his personal Twitter account has 21.3 million followers.

Eminem Grows Beard; Internet Loses Its Damn Mind
Eminem is bonafide rap royalty, so even if you’re one of those OGs who’s of the opinion that he peaked with 2000’s Marshall Mathers LP, it’s not to see why so many continue to stan out over Slim Shady.
These days, most of the focus is on Em’s personal life, which is understandable for a couple of reasons:
1. See our earlier comment about dude hitting his creative peak like 17 years ago.
(We love you, Em, but you know it’s the truth.)
2. Mr. Mathers tends to shy away from the press these days, which lends him a J.D. Salinger-esque recluse mystique.
(Hard to argue that anyone who appears in public as often as Eminem does could be considered a proper recluse, but in 2017, if you go a day without posting a selfie, you’re basically Emily Dickinson.)
Anyway, the point is, the 44-year-old has achieved permanent headline-maker status.
Even new photos of daughter Hailie Jade Mathers get social media all in a tizzy.
So we suppose it’s not a huge surprise that a major shakeup in the rap legend’s facial hair status has caused the Internet to lose it’f f–king mind:
Yes, that’s Em looking less like that the blonde trash-talker that rose to fame two decades ago and more like the guy who works the counter at your local vape shop.
The beard is working for him, but it’s a shock to see the man making such a significant change after being beard-free for his entire adult life.
Maybe Em got a memo from El-P, Action Bronson, Post Malone, Mac Miller, and Riff Raff, informing him that in 2017, white rappers rock facial hair.
Or maybe he remembered that he has a daughter in college, which means it’s time to flex his beard muscle.
Either way, the look is definitelt contributing to his mysterious reculse status.
Em was on the red carpet to promote The Defiant Ones, an upcoming HBO documentary about the collaborative relationship between Dr. Dre and hip hop mogul Jimmy Iovine.
Enjoy it, because it’s probably the last look you’ll get at dude this year.
But don’t worry, we’ll let you know when new photos of Hailie Jade surface.
(She turns 22 this year, you can ogle without shame.)
