Big Brother Recap: Who Won Veto? Who Was the Replacement Nominee?
The latest episode of Big Brother picked up moments after the most awkward nominations ceremony in the history of the series.
Sam had just nominated both Haleigh and Kaitlyn citing the fact that both of them were all over the younger men in the house, as though they were doing it for protection from the block.
“I’m old-fashioned and, to me, being a lady is what makes me empowered,” Sam revealed in the Diary Room of her decision to nominate the pair.
The basis for Sam’s plan was that the bonus life power expired this week and that it would allow the evictee the chance to re-enter the game.
But Sam said that there was no way either of the women would stick around long if they returned to the game.
Faysal, Rockstar, and Kaycee were not impressed by the combative nature of the speech … especially when you consider the fact that Sam did not allow either woman to speak to her before the ceremony.
Sam continued to act erratically when Tyler went up to the HOH room for some clarity on what the next steps were.
She really wants to keep all of the information to herself during her reign, but Tyler managed to float the idea of putting Rockstar up.
After Brett lied about the vote, Rockstar went crazy, and it’s painted a huge target on her.
Kaitlyn turned to Faisyal to make sure he was going to save her if she threw the veto to him. He agreed, but moments later, he turned to Haleigh to tell her all about it.
JC, Faisyal, and Rockstar joined Sam, Kaitlyn, and Haleigh for the veto competition. It brought former winner Rachel Reilly back into the house to host.
The competition found various objects smacking the living daylights out of the houseguests. But Faysal was the one to emerge as the winner, presenting him with a difficult decision.
Kaitlyn subsequently went off on a tear-filled rampage when Faysal admitted that he also promised Haleigh he would keep her safe.
Yikes.
Tyler turned to Sam one last time to get information on the veto replacement, but she refused to tell him anything.
She backed this up in the DR by saying she did not want to be manipulated by anyone to make a decision.
Faysal used the veto to save Haleigh, but things took a turn as Sam started to announce she was putting JC on the block.
Um, what?
JC burst into tears, saying it was the wrong thing to do. Sam agreed and turned her attention to Rockstar, telling her to take a seat next to her ally.
Sam then opened up about her power app, telling the nominees that they will have a chance to re-enter the game, but still, the house was divided.

Big Brother Spoilers: And the Replacement Nominee Is...
It’s not very often a plan comes to fruition in the Big Brother house, but it seems like Kaitlyn Herman’s scheming with Tyler Crispen could spell the end of a big target’s game this week.
Kaitlyn was originally in an alliance that included Swaggy C, but she quickly changed focus when Tyler told her all about Sam’s secret power and that they could use it to their advantage.
That’s why Kaitlyn was the swing vote to send Steve out of the house, keeping Sam and her power in the game for another week.
Kaitlyn is part of the FOUTE alliance which includes Swaggy, Bayliegh, Faysal, Rockstar, and Haleigh. In the immediate eviction aftermath, everyone in the alliance tried to figure out which of them flipped the vote.
Kaitlyn was lucky in that she won the HOH competition because her name was coming up several times, and she ultimately opened up about her decision.
She told select houseguests that she was ready to take out Winston, while she told others that Swaggy was her target. Despite this, it was not really clear what she was really planning to do.
When Saturday rolled around in the Big Brother house, Scottie and Winston were sitting pretty on the block.
The two nominees, Kaitlyn, Faysal, Rachel, and Tyler competed in the Veto competition. The feeds were off four hours as the competition took place, but when they returned we learned that Tyler emerged with the win.
Kaitlyn was dead set on her plan, but she wanted to keep Winston on the block alongside Swaggy. This rubbed the Level Six alliance the wrong way, but they ultimately decided to allow her to do what she wanted.
As such, the Veto ceremony took place on Monday and Swaggy replaced Scott on the block. The most surprising thing about this is that Swaggy wound up on the block.
In past seasons, the houseguests have struggled to execute plans because the target usually pulls out a win that allows them to stay in the game.
While the Foute alliance was shocked to the core by the news, Swaggy maintained that he had four days to try and turn the tide back in his favor to take Winston out of the game.
Will Winston or Swaggy be sent packing on Thursday night?

Cheyenne Floyd: Who Is Farrah Abraham"s Teen Mom OG Replacement?
Ever since Farrah Abraham was fired from Teen Mom OG, rumors about who might replace her on the wildly popular series have been circulating nonstop on social media.
Two early frontrunners emerged in the form of a pair of Mackenzies.
McKee seemed the obvious choice, having previously been considered for Teen Mom 2, a role that eventually went to her former Teen Mom 3 co-star Briana DeJesus.
Ryan Edwards" wife, Mackenzie Standifer, would have also been a logical selection, but in the end, she too was passed over.
Instead, according to a new report from The Ashley"s Reality Roundup, producers went with a woman who"s never been on Teen Mom — and, in fact, has never even been a teen mom.
Needless to say, fan reactions have run the gamut from confusion to outrage, and it seems that no one is particularly excited about the addition of Cheyenne Floyd to the cast.
Except, of course, for Cheyenne Floyd …

Kenya Moore: Producers Are Hunting for Her RHOA Replacement
Last year, Kenya Moore made a choice to marry for love and respect her husband’s desire to not become a reality star. That decision may cause her to lose her peach.
Kenya’s tried hard to make up for it, but it looks like she might be fired and replaced with Kim Zolciak. Ouch.
Now it’s really looking like her time as a reality star is over, because producers are apparently on the hunt for fresh talent.
RadarOnline reports that The Real Housewives of Atlanta producers are looking for new Housewives.
Their source dishes on the process:
“They are meeting so many new women and signing them up to film casting reels.”
Some shows have potential contestants film their own casting reels, but they clearly want to see how these women perform with Bravo’s cameras rolling.
“They want new Housewives in Atlanta and they are already testing a few ladies.”
There’s no way of knowing if they’re filming them with each other, with hired actors, or even with existing cast members.
But we imagine that they’ll hold off on introducing them to the main cast until a couple of big decisions are final.
By big decisions, we mostly just mean whether or not Kenya is getting the boot.
“They’re going to make the official call about Kenya and the other ladies right after the reunion.”
That will be a huge decision, for the show but especially for Kenya.
And also for Kim Zolciak who, as we’ve mentioned, has merely been a friend of the Housewives on this past season.
“Kim coming on board full time won’t be determined until after the reunion is taped.”
And a certain friend of NeNe Leakes’ status as a friend of the show may carry on … but they haven’t made that decision.
“And Eva Marcille may or may not be brought back yet.”
If you don’t quite remember what landed Kenya Moore in hot water in the first place, wonder no more.
Last year, she had a secret wedding in which she married Marc Daly without the presence of any of Bravo’s cameras or producers.
The whole point of being a Real Housewife is that the show follows your life, particularly huge milestones like a wedding.
Unfortunately for Kenya, the man with whom she fell in love isn’t just camera-shy — he believes that The Real Housewives of Atlanta portrays black men in an unfairly negative light.
His refusal to film with her means that Kenya has less screen time.
Producers have reportedly been considering firing her and replacing her with someone who is committed to the role.
Since then, she’s tried everything to get back on the good side of producers by showing that she doesn’t need her married life to be interesting.
Kenya even went so far as to fake an explosive meltdown while the Housewives were doing charity work.
But it clearly has not been enough.
Kenya couldn’t go on the Barcelona trip.
And the footage of her crying while her husband’s out of town isn’t exactly the sort of Real Housewives content that keeps viewers’ eyes glued to their television sets.
Reportedly, this has already cost her $ 100,000. And she may be booted from the show.
Kenya Moore’s loss could be Kim Zolciak’s gain, as the Don’t Be Tardy star and mother-of-six really wants to be a full Housewife again.
Kim has never, ever shied away from the camera, and that goes for her whole family.
But if producers are looking for new applicants, it may be that they’d prefer a fresher face.
Some say that, if Bravo does fire Kenya, they’ll be punishing her for falling in love. Others say that they’ll be punishing Marc Daly for taking a moral stance against what he believes to be harmful content.
Others, however, say that it’s just good business.
They see Kenya Moore’s behavior as breach of contract or failure to live up to the role of Housewife.
Maybe it’s someone else’s turn to receive a peach.

Matt Lauer Replacement: Sabotaged by... You-Know-Who!
Matt Lauer is out.
But who is in?!?
On the heels of NBC axing Lauer from his co-hosting gig on The Today Show, in the wake of VERY disturbing sexual misconduct allegations, questions are starting to go from this:
What the Hell is wrong with Matt Lauer?!?
To this:
Who will replace Matt Lauer?
Some have naturally speculated that Megyn Kelly will swoop in and take Lauer’s seat alongside Savannah Gurthrie, considering how much NBC is paying her each year.
But she only just started her own hour on Today.
Would the network really move her so quickly?
If not Kelly, however, it really is unclear just who will take over for Lauer, which is largely because Lauer himself has served as a deterrent to potential future anchors.
Remember: these sexual assault charges are shocking.
But there’s been talk of Lauer getting fired for years now, due to his huge contract, the show’s faltering ratings and his perceived bad attitude.
Lauer was aware of these rumors.
In response, he went out of his way to ensure such reporters as David Gregory, Josh Elliott and Billy Bush were unprepared to sit in his chair.
“Matt killed off, in their infancy, every man who could succeed him at the time that he was ready to hang it up,” an insider tells Page Six.
“So there’s nobody to take his place. And now NBC is paying the price.”
Hoda Kotb announced that Lauer was fired early last week, but she’s entrenched with Kathie Lee Giffored on their own hour of Today.
No one takes her seriously as a candidate.
Reportedly, Craig Melvin, who serves as a host on Weekend Today, is being strongly considered for the job of Lauer’s replacement.
However, one network executive doesn’t think he’s suitable.
“I couldn’t pick him out of a lineup,” this executive tells The New York Post.
At the moment, Willie Geist probably leads the pack. He’ll get the job, if we had to guess right now.
Ironically, meanwhile, ratings for Today have shot up in the wake of Lauer’s firing.
We guess this isn’t all that stunning, with folks wanting to tune in and see how the series is handling his dismissal.
To the network’s credit, Today has been covering the Lauer debacle just like any news story. It’s not holding anything back just because it is involved in the case.
And to whomever does replace Lauer, there’s no reason to be nervous:
In other words: he’s set the bar VERY low.
You’ll do fine.

As you"re probably aware by now, Kylie Jenner and Tyga have broken up.
We know you"ve heard that before, but it looks as though they"re really, officially dunzo this time.
In fact, the relationship may have been over for longer than we realize, as both parties appear to have moved on to new boos already.
Kylie"s been linked to Ty Dolla Sign and a few other rappers, because the media assumes she"s sleeping with every guy she"s photographed with.
Tyga, meanwhile, has certainly been making the most of his Disick Month – that period after a nobody gets dumped by a Kardashian, during which he"s free to sleep with whomever he wants, but still enjoys the lingering vestiges of D-list fame leftover from his relationship.
First, Tyga hooked up with Karlie Redd.

Michael Strahan Live Replacement: Who Will It Be... For Now?
With Michael Strahan on his way out of Live! in just a couple weeks, attention has now turned from the current co-host to Kelly Ripa’s next co-host.
After Strahan initially made the announcement that he’ll be leaving the program to become a full-time anchor on Good Morning America, Ripa took a few days to deal with the shock and anger over the way in which this decision was handled.
She then returned on Tuesday, explained herself a bit and acted like everything was all good with Strahan.
A few hours later, Strahan’s departure was moved up from September to May 13.
But forget the former New York Giants star for now (something Ripa clearly would like to do).
Who will fill Strahan’s seat on Live until a permanent replacement is found?
“The network does have a long roster of people who will step in to guest host,” a source tells People Magazine, adding:
“They’ll do the same thing they did when they found Michael … they’ll rotate a bunch of people in.
Okay, but can you give us a few ideas of who those famous people will be?
“Expect to see people like Anderson Cooper, Andy Cohen, Josh Groban and Seth Meyers. They all came on a lot last time and she loved them,” the source teases.
“[Ripa] is really close with Anderson and Andy and she loves them. But she’s open to trying a bunch of different people. It was clear she really liked the process last time.”
A recent report claimed Ripa might actually quit if the co-hosting gig were not given to Cooper and Cohen.
But she’s making a ton of money (at least $ 15 million per year) and she must know that Cooper is busy with the election on CNN and Cohen is contracted to Bravo.
We don’t see her just up and walking away.
This mole can’t predict how long it will take to officially replace Strahan, either. But the show will not be in any kind of rush to do so.
“Who knows how long it will take though,” says the insider. “They’re prepared to keep cycling people through even if its not resolved by the fall.”
Who do you want to see sitting alongside Ripa in the future?
Consider the following options and weigh in below:

Donald Trump -- Face-to-Face with Replacement Arnold Schwarzenegger at Debate
Z STAFF
Mark Burnett is a genius … not exactly news, but the timing of the announcement that Arnold Schwarzenegger will become the new host of ‘Celebrity Apprentice‘ couldn’t be better, because we’ve learned Arnold will be front and center at Wednesday’s Republican debate.
We’re told the former California governor was always planning to attend the 2nd debate at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, and the timing of the announcement is not accidental.
Our sources say there will be some contact between Donald and Arnold … likely a handshake and a short conversation that will not be picked up on mic.
