These Bachelor Contestants Just Left the Show... for Each Other!

We’re very sorry, Chris Harrison.

But we’re calling you out already.

The next time you say that viewers are in for THE MOST DRAMATIC ROSE CEREMONY IN BACHELOR HISTORY, you will be lying.

vietnam contestants

Yes, we can say this with authority right now.

Because THE MOST DRAMATIC ROSE CEREMONY IN BACHELOR HISTORY has already happened.

The Vietnamese version of this long-running hit reality series has gone viral across the entire universe because a pair of contestants – Minh Thu and Truc Nhu – recently decided they did not want to pursue a relationship with star Nguyen Quoc Trung.

Why?

Because they had already found love… with each other!

“I went into this competition to find love,” Thu said to Trung during the aforementioned, mind-boggling, stunning rose ceremony.

She then explained/teased: “I’ve found that love for myself, but it isn’t with you. It’s with someone else.”

And it was someone else Trung knew well.

Upon making her admission, a clearly emotional Thu walked over to Nhu and gave her a long hug, much to the total and complete surprise of the other contestants.

“Come home with me,” Thu said more than once to Nhu, who later approached Trung and said the following:

“I’m sorry. I really wanted to get to know you because you’re someone who made me feel special and I haven’t felt that way in a long time.”

The Bachelor was taken aback, according to those who watched this episode (it’s still sitting on our DVR), but managed to respond:

“I want to ask: If you decide this, would you feel regretful? This doesn’t change my decision. I’m not going to give this rose to anyone else. You only get one chance in this life, and you need to take it. Only you, not anyone else.

“I want to let you know that I think you’ll have regret if you continue with what you are about to say.”

she is sorry

This plea, however, fell on deaf ears.

Or, to be more accurate perhaps, it fell on a heart that already been captured by a fellow contestant.

“I know you’ll find someone who really loves you, who understands you, who knows how to take care of you, who can look at you from afar and know how you’re feeling,” she told him.

“I’m sorry.”

rose for you

The two women then walked out of the ceremony together.

UPDATE: Wait!

The Asian news website NextShark now reports that Nhu chose to come back to the show after another conversation with Trung.

She reportedly said: “I’ve changed my mind to accept this rose and continue this journey.”

Okay, well. That certainly makes this story a tad bit less interesting.

But it doesn’t change the drama of the rose ceremony itself!

The Voice Recap: Which Four Contestants Got Eliminated?

Eight became four on the latest episode of The Voice as the NBC juggernaut whittled down the contestants to make way for next week’s grand finale.

But were the right people sent home? It’s not like the coaches have final say on who makes it to the finale. There are a variety of metrics that come into play, and one of them is iTunes sales.

As always, there was a lot of beating around the bush before we got to the final results. Kane Brown showed up as a guest act and performed a surprisingly solid song, “Heaven.”

The true showstopper, however, was Blake Shelton who performed “I Lived It.”

There’s no denying that Blake is a great performer. When he’s up on the stage, it’s like all of the other country crooners aspire to be just like him. He’s a tough act to follow.

When we got to the actual result, Spensha Baker, Brynn Cartelli, and Kyla Jake were granted a place in the finale, but Rayshun LaMarr and Jackie Foster were immediately sent packing.

The middle three consisted of Pryor Baird, Kaleb Lee, and Britton Buchanan, who had to sing for one last chance to return to the stage on Monday night.

Let’s break down the three performances.

Pryor Baird (Team Blake) – “Soulshine”

Pryor continued doing what he does best: Oozing confidence and proving that he’s a force to be reckoned with. His rendition of this Allman Brothers classic was solid if a little unspectacular.

Kaleb Lee (Team Kelly) – “Simple Man”

Kaleb continued to be a bit all over the place. His performances have never been anything to write home about and his latest one seems like something he could be sent home over.

Britton Buchanan (Team Alicia) – “Dancing On My Own”

Okay, so here’s the thing: The moment it emerged there was a sing-off, and Pryor was involved, I thought Pryor had it in the bag, but Britton came, he conquered and left me wanting a whole lot more of those wonderful vocals.

When it got down to it, Britton was saved, and Pryor and Kaleb were sent packing. Like, it’s great Britton got the chance, but I can’t help shake the feeling one of the other three should have gone home.

Poor Pryor.

What do you think of these results?

Who do you want to win?

Jeopardy Contestants Fumble Football Category, Are Huge Nerds

Before we talk (and scoff) and length about the following video, a caveat:

Jeopardy contestants are MUCH smarter than we are.

They know detailed stuff about history and the bible and current event and geography and politics and we mostly write about the latest Jenelle Evans scandals every day.

It"s a living, you know?

But, again, it"s worth mentioning: Jeopardy contestants are MUCH smarter than we are.

That said, we know more about football than at least three people who qualified for this beloved game show, all of whom were forced to answer questions about this sport during a Double Jeopardy round because all other categories had been exhausted.

And the results were not pretty.

Fewer points were scored during this segment of the show than during a typical Buffalo Bills game.

Almost, at least.

The first question, for $ 200: Your choice: Do or don"t name this place in which the QB runs the ball & can choose to pitch it to another back.

For $ 200, considering how little most Jeopardy contestants know about sports, this was actually a difficult question.

And, true to form, no one came up with the answer of the option.

For $ 400: Tom Landry perfected the shotgun formation with this team.

Anyone? Anyone at all?

Nope, no one answers The Dallas Cowboys.

"I can tell you guys are big football fans," Alex Trebek said/taunted at one point.

“Do you think we should go to commercial?” the host later asked/taunted even harder.

After the next two questions did not elicit positive answers, Trebek took the unprecedented step of asking to see the $ 1,000 question… just for the fun of it!

"If you guys ring in and get this one, I will die," the emcee remarked, prior to a clue being given about the formidable Minnesota Vikings defensive line of the 1970s.

Did anyone shock Trebek by actually coming up with the proper response?

The Bachelor: Arie Luyendyk Jr, Contestants Flirt in New Trailer!

It"s been nearly three months since, to the Bachelor Nation"s collective surprise, Arie Luyendyk Jr. was announced as the next Bachelor. We"ve had time to get about as comfortable as we"ll ever be.

But we weren"t quite prepared for this trailer, where contestants are appearing for the first time alongside Arie as they compete for his heart.

As you"ll see in the video below, it"s … quite the spectacle.

Arie jr

In case anyone is still in denial, yes, this is really happening.

In just over a month, the next season of The Bachelor begins, and Arie will play the leading man.

No, there is no chance that it"s a fake-out and that Arie Luyendyk Jr. will be swapped out by Peter Kraus, why will barge in and sweep these contestants (and the viewers) off of their collective feet.

(For many reasons, though one is that Peter Kraus already has his comeback lined up)

Remember, folks, it"s not like they start filming in January. Reality television can surprise you, but it"s almost impossible to keep everything a secret when you film it all months in advance.

In fact, we already know Arie Luyendyk Jr."s final four. (Spoiler warning for that link, obviously)

If you don"t want spoilers, though, stick to the official trailers like the one in the video below.

We"ve already met the full cast of ladies.

The bachelor suitors who is wooing arie luyendyk

Those are a lot of women whom ABC found and convinced to go on camera and pretend that Arie Luyendyk Jr. is the man of their dreams.

Okay, you know what? Maybe we"re being a little mean to Arie.

He"s a handsome man. You don"t have to be the literal most attractive man in the world to be a recognizably handsome dude.

He"s a racecar drivers, which must be exciting to some people (especially adrenaline junkies).

He travels a lot, which some people like.

And, for what it"s worth, Courtney Robertson says that Arie is "the best" at sex.

While most of the contestants won"t get to confirm that for themselves (this isn"t Bachelor in Paradise, folks), there"s still a lot about Arie to make him desirable to these contestants.

And Arie must be excited about this.

This isn"t his first bite at the apple — he was a major contender on The Bachelorette. And though most of us hadn"t really thought of him since, producers decided to give him another shot.

In fact, Arie was so pumped for this role that he broke up with his real-life girlfriend just two days before the official announcement that he was going to be The Bachelor.

That might not be the most romantic move, but it certainly shows drive and determination.

Different contestants are going to be looking for different traits, folks.

In the trailer below, you can see that ABC realized that he"s a controversial choice, so they"re really doing their best to hype him up.

We see clips of contestants singing his praises as a desirable match.

They"re also playing off of his racecar driving in the voiceover, because who can resist a good pun?

This trailer gives us confidence and reminds us that The Bachelor"s producers have sold audiences man after man for what feels like a thousand seasons.

They must know what they"re doing.
