Ryan Reynolds Responds to Blake Lively Unfollow: I"m Very Sad ...

Earlier this week, Blake Lively unfollowed Ryan Reynolds, and it was no accident.

A lot of fans immediately feared the worst for this gorgeous married couple.

Now, Ryan is speaking up … in true Ryan Reynolds fashion.

In an interview with Australian radio show Smallzy Surgery (it’s Australian and a radio show, so of course that’s its name), Ryan acknowledged that, yes, his wife did unfollow him.

“Yes, she did. I’m very sad about that.”

He goes on to share how it feels.

“Definitely stinks. It’s a terrible way to find out that I’ve been kicked out of the house, to be honest.”

As you may have gathered, this response is all tongue-in-cheek, as we’ll explain in a moment.

“Absolutely terrible. I don’t know where rage like that comes from.”

He even suggests what it would be like to explain this situation to their child.

“Mommy unfollowed Daddy on Instagram. My child would just fart and then walk away.”

There’s a reason that he’s in such good humor about this.

Because the unfollowing was nothing personal.

As we mentioned when Blake so famously unfollowed him, she also unfollowed almost everyone. And no, she’s not doing an Instagram purge.

It’s a stunt.

Blake Lively is currently following only 38 accounts on all of Instagram, and each belongs to a woman named Emily Nelson.

Blake Lively is starring as a woman named Emily Nelson in the upcoming film, A Simple Favor.

In the film, Emily goes missing suddenly, leaving a mommy blogger (played by Anna Kendrick) who describes herself as Emily’s best friend guessing about what happened.

This is the sort of film with mystery, twists and turns, and even the appearance of a dead body at some point during the film.

Throughout, Anna Kendrick’s character comes to admit that she did not know Emily as well as she thought that she did.

The teaser trailer dropped on Wednesday, so Blake’s stunt’s timing was not a coincidence.

At present, that teaser trailer is the only post on her Instagram page.

Ryan Reynolds is playing along with the “unfollowed” because he’s goofy and lovable.

It also brings more attention to his wife’s project.

Of course, it just so happens that Ryan has a new movie of his own coming out soon.

Deadpool 2, the much-anticipated sequel of the spectacular first film, follows the fourth wall-shattering adventures of an unkillable pansexual anti-hero named Deadpool.

Marvel and DC have long parodied and copied each other in comics, but Deadpool (originally intended as Marvel’s answer to the DC villain, Deathstroke) has become a truly unique character with a dedicated fanbase.

And Ryan’s own sense of humor meshes extremely well with the character.

We suppose that one of the greatest things about two young, stunning actors being married is that they can support each other’s projects.

Supporting each other is one thing, but using long-standing divorce rumors to promote a film is taking an extra step.

While Ryan’s film is more anticipated and is likely to draw a larger audience, many are intrigued by Blake’s movie.

And you have to admit that this is a great marketing strategy.

After all, how many people might never have even heard about this film, let alone researched it, had it not been for this marketing ploy?

It’s always nice to see social media marketing done well.

And, of course, to see a cooperative husband support his wife’s work.

Kim Kardashian and Tristan Thompson Unfollow Each Other

Ever since Tristan Thompson was caught cheating, fans have been wondering when Khloe will leave him and take their baby back to L.A.

Her family’s been wondering that, too. Some of them are already cutting ties with their sister’s serial cheating baby daddy.

Kim is taking it to social media — where she and Tristan have now publicly unfollowed each other.

When it comes to celebrity disagreements, sometimes there are very public arguments and debates — or even rants — over social media.

But unfollowing is usually seen as as a last resort. Why? Because you’re effectively saying that you don’t even want to be associated or to see the other’s face.

The Kardashians always talk about how they’re all about family, so you know that Kim is angry when she unfollows her own niece’s father.

But, as of this week, Kim has unfollowed Tristan on Instagram.

What’s more, Tristan has also unfollowed Kim … even though it’s not like Kim is in the wrong, here. Perhaps he meant for it to be respectful of her boundaries, we don’t know.

During the first half of April, shocking footage surfaced, revealing that Tristan Thompson had been caught cheating on Khloe.

He has reportedly been dribbling in the courts of at least five other women — and those are just the reports that have come out so far.

In addition to the fact that this was all apparently going on during Khloe’s pregnancy, what made this story so especially explosive was the timing.

This news came out the day before Khloe went into labor.

Two days before their daughter, True Thompson, was born.

The timing of this mutual unfollowing, weeks after the story broke, doesn’t seem to be a coincidence.

This was also the week when Kim finally broke her silence about Tristan.

On Monday, Kim Kardashian spoke to Ellen about how f–ked up the Tristan situation is.

And while Kim seemed hesitant to go too much into detail, she admitted that things are not good.

“Like, I don’t even know how to describe it other than it’s just so f–ked up.”

it sure is, Kim.

“We really were rooting for Khloe. And we still are.”

Rooting for her to move back to Calabasas as soon as she gets the all-clear from the doctor to fly with her baby, most likely.

“She’s so strong and she’s doing the best she can. It’s a really sad situation all over.”

Yep.

Kim says that she’s not going to give details.

“I kind of made this rule with my brother: if there’s a baby involved, I’m not going talk.” 

Obviously, given everything that went down with her brother Rob, it’s understandable that she’d have a policy when a relationship sours.

“I’m going to keep it cute and keep it classy and not talk too bad on [the parent].”

But it doesn’t sound like she’s going to stop anyone from saying exactly what they think of Tristan, either.

“I’m going to try not to say anything too negative because one day, True is going to see this.”

That’s smart. You don’t know how things will turn out, and the internet is forever.

“And it’s just, you know, so messed up.”

It seems like Khloe herself is unsure of what to do.

When someone cheats, there are basically two approaches.

One, you break up. In this case, Khloe would have no trouble raising True on her own. She has virtually unlimited resources and she has a massive family support network.

Two, you don’t break up, and you lord the cheating over them for the rest of your relationship. He handles every diaper, he goes to the door to get the take-out- he yields to your preferences for a restaurant.

Some wonder if Khloe is hesitant to dump Tristan because she has some lingering misgivings over Kris’ divorce from her father, Robert Kardashian.

If so, she may want to consider that divorce is not traumatic for newborns, who don’t even know what the sun is. True could grow up in a coparenting situation without feeling like she’s missing out.

It sounds like this is what Kim and the rest of Khloe’s family want for her. But … what does Khloe want?

Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr Clap Back at Parent-Shamers: Unfollow Me!

In May of 2017, Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr announced their pregnancy to fans and to the world. Now, little baby Memphis is just three months old.

And yet both parents are now being parent-shamed for … taking a vacation?

Brittany is hitting back at parent-shamers and telling them to get lost.

After a slew of gorgeous vacation photos (which you can see below), Brittany uploaded what looks like another sweet photo of husband and wife … until you read the captions.

“Much needed vacay. [sun emoji] Just a word of wisdom for all the parent shamers… vacations are ok for new parents to take.”

Sad that she had to make that statement in the first place.

“Sometimes after being pregnant for almost a year, cooped up in a house for weeks at a time, you need a little sunshine and adult time.”

And she sets some boundaries.

“IT IS NOT OK to leave your ignorant comments.”

A lot of celebrities really do see the comments — some of them, anyway. Think before you type, folks.

“If you don’t agree with something, PLEASE… do me a favor and unfollow me. You will NOT be missed [black heart emoji]”

But she gives a shout-out to her most supportive fans.

“And for all the sweet, positive, happy people… we love you and thank you!!”

Sweet baby Memphis (the human pictured) was born on December 1st, 2017. He just crossed the three-month threshold a few days ago.

Bonding time with one’s baby is important.

And, obviously, neglecting a baby in any way would be cruel and inexcusable.

But Jason Aldean and Brittany did not just lock the baby in their house with some loosened jars of baby food in his crib and hope for the best.

Obviously, they left him in capable and loving hands — as many parents do — and took a break for themselves.

They love their child.

In fact, Brittany posted a message about missing him before the two of them had even reached their destination.

Posting a photo of herself looking at a picture of her baby on a plane, she wrote:

“Haven’t even left Nashville and I miss him so much it hurts.” [teal heart emoji]

However, though the comments under that photo were mostly positive, there were negative remarks.

Some were neutrally so, like confessions from other parents who don’t feel like they would have been able to leave their babies for any amount of time.

That’s fine.

Those who decided to lay into Brittany and Jason for “abandoning” their baby … really went overboard.

Some fan comments, however, affirmed that not only was taking a vacation okay (which it is), but that it’s actually a responsible thing to do as parents.

“A healthy, happy parent is a good parent. Take care of you and your relationship!”

And another, on a different vacation photo:

“One of the BEST things you can do for your child is take care of their parents!”

Parents who are emotionally drained or are on edge are more likely to make mistakes or may even grow to resent their own child.

Those who can should absolutely go on vacation.

(When the kids are older, many of them will prefer when the parents go on vacation without them)

This couple went through a lot in 2017, and pregnancy and childbirth were only part of that.

Remember, many of the Vegas shooting victims were Jason Aldean concert-goers. That had a powerful emotional impact on Brittany and Jason.

More than most, these two needed some time off for their overall well-being.

There are countless genuinely bad parents in this world who deserve people’s ire. Not a happy vacationing couple who’ve done nothing wrong to their sweet baby.

If Jason Aldean wears blackface again and teaches his baby that it’s okay, the parent-shamers can feel free to go off. In the mean time, just …. be nicer.

Kailyn Lowry & Javi Marroquin Fight Over Racy Photo, Unfollow Each Other on Twitter

After months of rumors that Javi Marroquin’s deployment has been putting their marriage to the test, Kailyn Lowry may have just kicked her husband to the curb in very public fashion.

Javi has been overseas with the U.S. Air Force for the past three months, and photos of Marroquin with a mystery woman surfaced online shortly after he left, leading to reports that he and Kailyn had called it quits.

At the time, sources close to the couple insisted they were still together, but now a different photo (and a different woman) may have caused Kailyn to pull the plug on her marriage of three years.

In a truly bizarre twist, Marroquin seems to have ratted on himself by admitting on Twitter that he recently sent racy photos to a female friend.

“The snap I just sent @Kimberlyyy_Rene #onmycalvinkleinshhh,” Marroquin tweeted, implying that he was in his underwear in the pic.

Asked how she feels about the strange confession, Kailyn tweeted, “Borderline inappropriate but it is what it is.”

She deleted the tweet moments later.

Marroquin tagged Lowry in a tweet that read simply, “Don’t,” but he also deleted it.

When a fan assured Marroquin that Lowry loves and misses him, the 23-year-old replined, “Haha too late.”

At some point in the last 24 hours, both Kailyn and Javi stopped following each other on Twitter and Instagram.

A rep for the couple recently issued a statement assuring fans that the couple is “not legally separated.” Not exactly encouraging words.
