So much for those Alex Rodriguez cheating rumors.
(In a romantic sense, that is. We all know the guy cheated his rear end off on a nearly yearly basis while playing Major League Baseball.)
And so much for those Alex Rodriguez blackmail rumors getting in the way of a healthy relationship with Jennifer Lopez.
The singer/actress and the former controversial athlete made it clear this week that their romance is going as well as ever, sharing photos from a recent trip they took together to Paris.
Sorry, not a recent trip.
A recent baecation, as Lopez referred to the European adventure as in the caption to the picture above.
The gorgeous star posted numerous images from the vacation to her Instagram account, while Rodriguez talked openly about his famous girlfriend at a press event for Shark Tank on Monday night.
(He’ll be joining the ABC program as one of the very rich Sharks next season.)
“Our kids get along really well, we’re both from New York, we’re both Latin, we’re both in our forties, we’re really enjoying life,” A. Rod told Extra, adding:
“She really is one of the most impressive and smartest human beings I have ever met.”
Rodriguez and the 47-year old Shades of Blue actress have been dating for a couple of months.
They haven’t been shy about making public appearances or about gushing over each other during this time period, either.
“She’s an amazing, amazing girl,” Rodriguez said on The View in late March. “One of the smartest human beings I’ve ever met and also an incredible mother.
As for this Paris… umm… baecation?
“The museums are always good, and just walking around Paris is awesome,” Rodriguez told this same outlet.
The main question, of course, is how Rodriguez feels about his nickname with Lopez.
The Internet seems to have settled on J. Rod over A. Lo, which is fine by the man whose last name is at the center of the former option.
“I’m fine with everything, it’s close to A-Rod,” he said, adding of Lopez: “She’s pretty easy going, I think she likes it too.”
She’s also pretty easy on the eyes. Like, VERY easy on the eyes.
If we were dating someone who looked like Jennifer Lopez, we’d let the world just call us by her name at all times for all we cared.
We’d let her dress us. We’d let her talk for us. We’d do everything she said without any questions asked.
And so would any of you, fellas.
