Amy Roloff Congratulates Jacob Roloff & Isabel Rock on Their Engagement!
On Sunday, fans of Little People, Big World were so pleased to see that Jacob Roloff is engaged to girlfriend Isabel Rock.
It’s big news for Roloff family’s (former?) black sheep. And his mom, with whom he’s recently repaired his relationship, has taken to Instagram to offer big congratulations.
Amy Roloff’s persistent haters will be pleased to know that Amy Roloff isn’t “exploiting” Jacob to sell bread … this time.
When Jacob Roloff began to reconnect with his family, the first big clue was when he began hanging out with his mom again.
Fans knew that Jacob was back in his mom’s life because Amy Roloff shared a photo with Jacob Roloff’s dog. At the time, it seemed that Jacob wasn’t ready to be part of the family brand again just yet.
Now, he’s come a long way.
Jacob Roloff had a birthday celebration with his mom Amy and the whole family (except for Matt).
He even buried the hatchet with sister-in-law Audrey Roloff, more or less quashing the feud rumors that had followed them both.
And if you worried that Jacob’s dad missed his 21st birthday altogether, fear not. He just wasn’t there for the early celebration at Amy’s.
In fact, Matt and Amy set aside their differences to celebrate Jacob’s birthday. Not exactly the wild party that most people picture for a 21st birthday, but maybe he did that, too.
But the big news, of course, is that Jacob is now engaged to his girlfriend, Isabel Rock.
Back in September, Isabel made reference to a “life-changing decision” on Instagram.
That could have meant all sorts of things, including a reference to spending more time with Jacob’s family.
But many fans wondered at the time if Isabel was referring to an engagement between her and Jacob. Marriage — and the engagements that lead up to such a union — is definitely life-changing.
However, they didn’t get engaged in September. They also didn’t get engaged over the weekend, even though they shared the news on Sunday.
No, Jacob and Isabel got engaged while in Iceland. That sounds like a beautiful place for a proposal.
Amy took to Instagram and celebrated the news in her captions.
“And this happened! I couldn’t be a happier mom!”
Of course — Jeremy is married to Audrey, Zach is married to Tori, Molly is married to Joel (don’t forget Molly and Joel!), and now:
“My youngest- Jacob and the beautiful Isabel are engaged.”
21 is very young to be engaged, but it’s exciting nonetheless. And Jacob and Isabel are so sweet.
Amy’s over the moon about it.
“Love them both and excited to see where life will take them in their marriage!”
Amy included numerous, perhaps excessive, hashtags in her captions:
“#amyssecondactcontinues #engagedtomarry #forthroloffwedding #love [two red heart emojis] #wonderfultogether @moniqueserraphotography”
Even if Amy or any of the other Roloffs have private objections — maybe Jacob really is too young, after all — it’s always best to be encouraging.
If things work out, you’re not the bad guy. If things don’t work out, you can say “oh no!” and still not be the bad guy. It’s win-win.
But we don’t think that Amy’s biting her tongue. She seems genuinely enthused. And why wouldn’t she be? Jacob and Isabel found each other and now they’re both in Amy’s life.
Some, however, feel that Audrey Roloff’s new Instagram post was an epic vaguepost about Jacob and Isabel.
“Some words on dating from a Christian perspective…”
That’s exactly how fans familiar with her brand would expect Audrey’s post to begin.
“Let’s just say you recently hurried into a relationship, dabbled with sexual intimacy, and then became emotionally attached.”
That sounds like … what dating usually is.
“The main problem with this scenario is that it blinds you to red flags. It’s the classic ‘love at first sight’ trap.”
I can’t say that I always see eye-to-eye with Audrey, but … she’s not wrong about that part.
“You begin to see the person you are dating as the “the most talented, most interesting, and most extraordinary person in the universe” (If you don’t get that reference, please go watch The Lego Movie after you finish this book. It’s sure to solve all your dating problems).”
If this is a thinly veiled attack on Jacob and his fiancee, it might be the first vaguepost we’ve ever seen that references The Lego Movie.
Her advice at this point is just to listen to your friends and family when they warn you about the person you’re dating. But, like the words of one’s friends and family, that’s as likely as anything to fall on deaf ears when somebody’s head over heels.
So … is Audrey really vagueing about Isabel Rock?
Well … she could be, sure.
Or she could be making a jab at Jacob, the one with whom she’s (allegedly) had issues in the past. Maybe she tried to warn Isabel that Jacob’s “no good.” And she does write this advice as directed at women.
But, quite frankly, we have no idea and we shouldn’t rush to conclusions.
Audrey may have not even thought of possible parallels to her family when she wrote this. Remember, she must have known about the couple’s engagement for a while, now.
And surely, if she were going to throw shade, she’d be a little more subtle about it.
… Right?

Farrah Abraham Congratulates Matt Baier, Slams Amber Portwood! Of course
We’re still amazed at how quickly Teen Mom villain Matt Baier got married to a seemingly random woman after his (final) breakup with Amber Portwood.
But do you know who’s loving it? Farrah Abraham.
And she says so directly.
Matt Baier’s relationship with Amber Portwood was bizarre.
It’s rare for a superfan of a series to date the star and have it work out well. Usually, the stars have enough sense to avoid stalkery “fans” who are desperate for fame.
But Amber Portwood ignored a veritable fleet of red flags and spent years with Matt Baier.
Years later, and after more than one cancelled wedding, Amber had finally, finally had enough. The couple split.
Baier jumped ship and very quickly hit things off with with … a Las Vegas waitress.
He’s now married this waitress, for better or for worse. And Farrah Abraham — whom Matt has definitely tried to hit up in the past — has something to say about it.
Speaking at Gossip Long Island’s 20th anniversary celebration, where numerous dancers were modeling Farrah’s new lingerie line, Farrah spoke out to InTouch Weekly about about Matt Baier getting married:
“Congratulations to Matt!”
She just issued a simple, polite statement of congratulations to someone and didn’t use the opportunity to verbally twist the night against Amber Portwood?
We’re kidding; of course she went off. She’s Farrah.
“I mean, to honestly say … all my congratulations to Matt for getting married, because the whole time he was dating Amber was bulls–t.”
It wouldn’t be a Farrah Abraham quote if it weren’t also a serious jab at Amber Portwood, apparently.
“He never really liked Amber,” she asserts.
Oh, Farrah.
In another display of on-brand behavior, Farrah Abraham used the opportunity to plug her lingerie line.
“Thank them for having me two nights in a row!”
She’s been advertising her wares at the venue.
“We brought some class, we brought some sass, and some of my lingerie line — a lot of the women tonight are wearing it, so I’m happy to be here and happy they chose me.”
We’re almost angry that she said “class” and “sass” but didn’t rhyme either of them with “ass.”
Remember, some of Farrah’s lingerie has holes cut out in the panties in “convenient” locations. So we don’t think that saying “ass” would have hurt her branding or whatever.
This is far from the first time that Farrah has had less-than-kind things to say about Amber Portwood and chosen to (poorly) disguise those comments as well-wishes.
Remember when Farrah’s mom, Debra Danielsen, got married? Farrah was the only Teen Mom personality in attendance.
Amber Portwood gets along well with Deb, but had been struggling with morning sickness and couldn’t make it.
Do you remember what Farrah had to say to her, then?
“[Amber] wasn’t going to be here anyway, so I wish her all the best with her unplanned pregnancy and all her bulls–t.”
Wow.
So, if Farrah Abraham is ever about to “compliment” you, you might want to run the other way.
Especially if you’re Amber Portwood.

Jinger Duggar Squashes Feud, Congratulates Jill Duggar on Baby
For all the controversies and scandals surrounding the Duggar family, we rarely hear about any major feuds within the tight-knit clan.
Part of the reason for that is that the Duggars adhere to a strict patriarchal power structure:
Men hold all the cards and are not to be questioned, so husband-wife, father-daughter disputes are unheard of.
As for mother-daughter, sister-sister rows, well, if the Josh Duggar sex scandals taught us anything, it’s that the Duggars know how to keep a lid on anything that might tarnish their reputation.
Interestingly, however, the family was unable to keep news of the Jill vs. Jinger Duggar feud under wraps.
We may never know exactly what sparked the disagreement, but there’s no doubt that Jill and Jinger weren’t getting along at one point.
Not only did the sisters unfollow one another on social media, their husbands cut digital ties as well.
When fans noticed that all four were not linked on Instagram in any way, they concluded that something must be amiss.
The most widely accepted theory is that the girls’ husbands, Derick Dillard and Jeremy Vuolo, found themselves at odds with regard to religious doctrine, after Vuolo delivered a sermon criticizing unqualifies missionaries.
Now, however, it seems that both couples have decided to bury the hatchet.
As you may have heard, Jill gave birth to her second child this week, and Jinger and Jeremy decided to extend an olive branch by offering their public congratulations.
Jill and Jeremy make their home in Laredo, Texas, a long way from where the rest of the family resides in Arkansas, so they took to the Internet to offer some kind words in a video addresses to the Dillards:
“We’re so excited for you guys and your new addition, little Samuel,” Jinger says.
“We wish we could be there to meet him in person, but we look forward to that day.”
Jeremy offers a similar sentiment, adding:
“Hopefully soon we’ll be able to come and visit and meet the little guy. But we’re so happy for you, and we’ll be praying for you. Love you so much! Hopefully see you soon!”
Certainly sounds like all is well between the formerly feuding sisters.
Some fans were hoping that the video would contain some new info regarding the Jinger Duggar pregnancy rumors, but maybe Jinge didn’t want to steal her big sister’s thunder.

Kailyn Lowry Congratulates Chelsea Houska, Snubs Jenelle Evans
It’s been a busy week for the ladies of Teen Mom 2.
On Tuesday, Jenelle Evans gave birth to her third child, a daughter named Ensley Jolie.
The very next day, Chelsea Houska gave birth to her second kid, a boy named Watson Cole.
There was talk of Chelsea stealing Jenelle’s thunder, which is insane, when you consider that we’re talking about the creation of human lives here …
… but not that surprising when you consider that this is Jenelle Evans we’re talking about, a woman has spent the last decade testing the limits of how much insanity society will tolerate.
Anyway, Teen Mom 2 fans appear to be much more enthusiastic about congratulating Chelsea than Jenelle, and it seems that enthusiasm extends to the ladies’ castmates as well.
“So so happy for Chelsea Houska and her family! Cannot wait to hold baby boy!” Kailyn Lowry tweeted just minutes after news of little Watson’s birth went public.
Kailyn offered no such kind words to Jenelle the day before, and fans were quick to take note of the possible passive-aggressive diss.
Many pointed out that Leah Messer re-tweeted a photo of Chelsea’s bundle of joy, but made no mention of Jenelle, meaning that none of the TM2 girls acknowledged that Evans also welcomed a new addition to her family this week.
“Weird how none of the girls congratulated Jenelle….” tweeted one fan.
“Y should any of them congratulate Jenelle when they’re not friends w/her?? That’d be so fake & stupid,” commented another.
One fan completely missed the point and assumed that the snub was a result of some sort of misguided slut-shaming:
“I don’t see y hate on Jenelle bc if Kail has another kid she’ll b in same boat 3 baby daddies,” she wrote.
This person has apparently never seen an episode of Teen Mom 2.
The other moms don’t distance themselves from Jenelle because she’s has three baby daddies.
No, they distance themselves from Jenelle because she’s a bitter, hateful, violent human being.
Interestingly, Jenelle probably believes that she’s reviled because of her promiscuity and her past addictions, but the fact is there are many legitimate reasons to dislike her and she provides us with more every day.
We offer our congrats and we hope that Jenelle is able to provide her kids with the stable family life they deserve.
But you need only to watch Teen Mom 2 online to be reminded of why her co-stars might not be rushing to congratulate the Carolina Hurricane.

Rob Kardashian Congratulates Kylie Jenner: Is Their Feud Over??
Ever since Rob Kardashian announced his engagement to Blac Chyna, fans assumed that his sister Kylie Jenner was in a state of rage over the news.
After all, she’s been feuding with Blac, who is the baby mama of Kylie’s boyfriend Tyga, for more than a year.
The fact that Kylie never publicly congratulated or even spoke about Rob’s engagement further suggested bad blood between the siblings.
However, Kylie has been busy populating her social media feeds with other important items, including an infinite number of selfies, promos for her lip kits and scintillating videos of herself mouthing the lyrics to R&B songs.
So it comes as somewhat of a surprise that Rob is the one to break the silence.
Yesterday, Rob re-posted a photo to Instagram of Kylie posing with her recent Paper magazine cover and offered his felicitations.
“Congrats Sis,” he wrote in the caption, and included a blue heart emoji.
Interesting choice of color there.
Could he be implying that his heart is blue because she hasn’t reached out to him?
Are we reading into it too much? Maybe, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t true. Heh.
Last week, Rob shared a video to Instagram promoting his fiance’s lipsticks, which many took as a diss to Kylie Jenner and her cosmetics line.
And prior to that, Blac posted a video that was in clear mockery of the Kylie Lip Kits.
So, what’s your response, Kylie? Are you going to say anything??

Calvin Harris Congratulates "Beautiful" Taylor Swift on Grammys Win
Taylor Swift received attention at the 2016 Grammy Awards for what she said about Kanye West.
But forget the singer’s main for for a second. Let’s focus on the artist’s beloved beau, shall we?
Calvin Harris did not attend the Grammy Awards themselves with Swift because he was busy recording in the studio.
But the DJ and music producer did catch up with his girlfriend at an after-party, finding time for some PDA (above) and making a point to gush over her on social media.
“Congratulations to my beautiful girlfriend,” Harris wrote as a caption to a photo of Swift accepting the Grammy for Album of the Year.
Swift, meanwhile, was not left alone on her big night. She attended the ceremony with best friend Selena Gomez and then shared the following montage on Instagram soon afterward:
“Oh what a night,” she included as an affiliated message to the pictures.
Swift walked away with Grammys for the album “1989” and also for the music video for “Bad Blood.”
But it was the bad blood between her and Kanye West that many continue to talk about, considering Swift responded to Kanye’s latest diss by clearly referencing him in her acceptance speech.
To young women around the globe, Swift said:
“Just focus on the work and don’t let those people sidetrack you… someday, when you get where you are going, you will look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there.
“And that will be the greatest feeling in the world. Thank you for this moment.”

Farrah Abraham Congratulates Maci Bookout, Universe is Confused
After Maci Bookout announced her engagement to Taylor McKinney, Farrah Abraham attempted to get in her Teen Mom OG co-star’s good graces by giving Us Weekly an exclusive recap of their proposal.
As we reported yesterday, McKinney proposed to Bookout over the holiday weekend in L.A., where the cast was taping a reunion special.
According to Abraham, McKinney told Bookout that she had to do a photoshoot for MTV.
It was the perfect opportunity for him to present his baby mama with a custom-designed ring.
“After her new fiancé proposed, they came to the studios to finish our reunion taping,” Abraham told Us on January 19th.
“I stopped by their green room to congratulate them. We all hugged and embraced and congratulated Maci!”
Abraham played nice, which means one thing: She wants an invitation to their wedding.
“It was very fitting and great to catch their memories for everyone to see,” Abraham said of the newly engaged couple.
“I look forward to supporting their engagement and look forward to their wedding.”
It looks as though Abraham made amends with Ambert Portwood and Catelynn Lowell, because they all posed for a photo together, which was then posted to social media.
When asked if Bookout and Portwood (who’s engaged to Matt Baier) will become wedding buddies, Abraham said that she figured they would “both bounce ideas off each other as they plan.”
Hoping that their good fortune will be paid forward, Abraham wrapped up her interview with hope for her own romantic future.
“I’m excited to see their plans come together on their wedding days! Hopefully this engagement luck rubs off on me as I’m the only single lady left.”
