Kim Porter and Diddy: Were They Close When She Died?
Upon passing along the shocking news yesterday that Kim Porter died at the young age of 47, nearly every outlet referred to the model as Diddy’s ex-girlfriend.
And this was an accurate description.
But it’s also an incomplete one.
According to TMZ, Porter and Diddy may have broken up for good in 2007 (following 13 years of off-and-on dating), but they remained very close in the decade-plus since.
This was only natural and logical because they shared three kids together (twin girls born in 2006 and a son born in 1998), but insiders say the relationship went beyond a mere co-parenting arrangement.
“They genuinely had love and affection for each other,” TMZ writes.
This was evident to anyone who perused Porter’s Instagram page.
Just over a week before she passed away, Porter posted a lengthy tribute to Diddy on the occasion of his 49th birthday.
These same sources say Porter and Diddy celebrated holidays as a family, vacationed together and simply hung out on a frequent basis.
Overall, there was never an extended period of time during which the exes were even on particularly bad terms.
Heck, Diddy and Porter never even formalized a custody agreement; they simply worked around each other’s schedules and amicably figured out who would care for the kids when.
It really is a tragedy all around.
Porter was found dead at her Toluca Lake home Thursday following what appears to have been a cardiac arrest.
She had reportedly recently gotten over pnuemonia and had contacted her doctor the day before because she felt ill — but no cause of death has been confirmed as of this writing.
Porter leaves behind her and Diddy’s 20-year-old son Christian and 11-year-old daughters Jessie James and D’Lila, as well as 27-year-old Quincy, who’s dad is recorded artist Al B. Sure!
“Diddy is devastated and shocked.
“He and Kim were still very close friends and co-parents even though their romantic relationship didn’t work,” a source tells People Magazine, adding:
“They were still a family.”
That much appears evident.
In the wake of Porter’s death, many in Hollywood took to social media in order to express their shock and remorse.
Wrote 50 Cent:
R.I.P to Kim Porter, I send my condolences to her friends and family. She was loved and will be missed dearly. I know puff is hit right now he loved her for real, soul mate type shit. Chin up puff, Positive vibes only.

The Walking Dead Recap: Who Died?
The Walking Dead returned to AMC with a lot of surprises for longtime fans of the series.
There was a time jump, two deaths, a proposal, blindsides and a whole lot of zombie action.
The episode kicked off with a cute scene between Judith, Rick, and Michonne, showing that Alexandria really did manage to weather the storm.
It was rising up thanks to the leadership in Rick, but there was a new mission for him and his allies to work on:
They embarked on a trip to Washington D.C. to garner supplies, but these weren’t the usual supplies these zombie slayers usually pick up.
These ones would allow them to create transport that would not really on gas. Instead, they would rely on horses and a whole lot of manpower.
That’s why the gang made their way to the Museum of Natural History because that was the best place to get some equipment to make carriages for the horses.
What followed was a tense scene as the group worked in tandem to get a carriage down a set of stairs and across a large room without making a noise.
There were walkers right below them, and what made it even scarier was that it was a glass floor separating them.
In a somewhat predictable chain of events, the ceiling gave way, and Ezekiel fell down. Thankfully there was a bit of rope that kept him dangling just long enough for his pals to save him.
The first death of the hour came when the group was on the way back with the supplies. Walkers appeared from every direction.
Ken did not want to see the horse die, so he quickly tried to slice the shackles to save it, but he gave up his own life in the process.
One of the walkers feasted on his arm, and that was the end of him. His mother and father blamed Maggie for taking their son out to find supplies.
Gregory was on hand to turn them against Maggie because that’s what the loser does. He always pops up to cause some drama.
He successfully managed to get the boy’s father to try and murder Maggie as she was doing a midnight patrol around the Hilltop.
Maggie was saved in the nick of time and went straight for Gregory’s place. The villain laughed at the very notion of trying to kill here before attempting to stab her on the spot.
Maggie overpowered him and decided to call a town meeting. That involved bringing Rick over from Alexandria.
Rick pleaded with Maggie to offer some assistance to the Saviors, but she was against it. If you watch The Walking Dead online, you will recall that she wanted Negan dead, but Rick saved him.
Maggie offered a deal to Rick:
She will offer food and resources to the Saviors, but they will be the ones to build the bridge and provide most of the labor.
Maggie then said that she was supposed to be in control of everything and that Rick was still grating on her nerves.
She had a point, and Rick was genuinely blindsided by it.
Maggie then executed Gregory, saying that everyone knows there are rules and she will inflict them on people if she so desires.
Elsewhere, Daryl was freaking out when someone started writing “We are still Negan” on the walls of the Sanctuary.
He confronted Rick about not wanting to work there anymore, but Rick said that someone else would have to take his place.
Carol overheard the conversation and agreed to take over from her friend, so he had a break to get it together.
We also learned that Carol and Ezekiel’s relationship was going from strength to strength. Ezekial even tried to propose marriage to Carol.
She declined, and we’re left to wonder why.

Dennis Shields Nearly Proposed to Bethenny Frankel Before He Died: Report
Bethenny Frankel is yet to speak on the tragic death of Dennis Shields.
As previously detailed, the 51-year old died last Friday morning in his Trump Tower apartment, allegedly of an accidental Oxycodone overdose.
Shields had often been featured and discussed on The Real Housewives of New York City due to his long-term, on-again/off-again relationship with Frankel, arguably the most successful and best-known star in this entire Bravo franchise.
In fact, Frankel had only just talked about her romance with Shields on the last new installment that aired, telling Dorinda Medley that she was planning to take a 90-day break from the relationship.
But that episode was filmed many months ago.
According to Radar Online, Frankel and Shields were actually in a fairly positive place not long before the latter passed away.
So positive, in fact, that Shields was planning to propose to Frankel during the final dinner date they would ever have.
“He bought a ring and took her to dinner to feel her out and it became obvious to him that she’d never marry him and it left Dennis heart broken,” an insider tells Radar, elaborating about what transpired as follows:
“Bethenny could sense that he was going to ask her to marry him and it pushed her away. So he never took it out to propose but that was his purpose.”
Wow.
That really puts things in perspective, huh?
Frankel and Shields actually met over 30 years ago.
They remained in touch and starting dating in 2016, not long after Shields split from his wife and three years after Bethenny broke up with husband Jason Hoppy.
It’s not shocking, to anyone familiar with this up-and-down relationship, that Shields could see a serious future with Frankel, while she maintain major doubts over the years.
This doesn’t mean she didn’t feel very strongly about Shields, of course.
“He was hoping the time was finally right, but just as he got his hopes up he was shot down again, and that would be the last time sadly,” Radar writes of the aforementioned meal.
As we said, Bethenny has not yet commented on his passing.
However, Dennis was still legally married to his estranged wife, Jill, saying:
“We are all heartbroken. Dennis was, and will always be, the love of my life. His spirit lives on in our children. Please respect our family’s privacy at this time.”
She also Tweeted:
“Even though we did not live together, you still remained my nest friend and my husband. Not many people were able to grasp our situation but it worked for us.”
Finally, Carole Radziwill, Frankel’s former friend and occasional foil, expressed her shock and sadness on social media via the following message:
I just heard the sad news about Dennis. He was a good man. My condolences to all his family and friends. So tragic.
We send our condolences to Frankel and to anyone who knew Dennis Shields well.

Joy-Anna Duggar Opens Up About Difficult Child Birth: I Could Have Died!
It’s been five months since Joy-Anna Duggar welcomed her first child.
At the time, it was reported that the birth did not go according to plan, and Joy-Anna was rushed to a nearby hospital, despite her intention to deliver the baby at home.
It’s not the first time that a Duggar woman was forced to abandon her plans for a homebirth, but Joy-Anna’s case sparked greater interest among fans than those of her older sisters,
In the corners of the internet that are devoted to all things Duggar, fans speculated that Joy-Anna’s delivery went seriously awry.
There were rumors that Jill Duggar had served as midwife, even though she lacks the proper qualifications for the job.
Some even went so far as to claim that Joy nearly lost her life.
On tonight’s episode of Counting On, Joy-Anna will open about the complicated delivery and share previously undisclosed information with her many curious fans.
The episode finds Joy-Anna and her husband, Austin Forsyth, meeting with their midwife in the weeks before Joy-Anna gave birth.
“I want to have all the options available, but I’m not sure,” says at one point.
“We want a home birth, we’re going to try, but we’re not going to risk mom and baby’s life,” says Austin.
“I’m just having to remind myself not to let the fears and anxiety things take over and just prepare as best as I can and be flexible at the same time,” a very anxious-sounding Joy remarks.
Yes, it seems that Joy-Anna had her doubts about a homebirth from the very start.
Asked by producers for her feelings on the situation, Joy had this to say:
“My thoughts right now? If you ask me, I mean, they change. Sometimes I’m like, ‘I’m ready for this, I can do this!’ And then sometimes I’m like, ‘Why am I doing this?’
“It changes. But right now, I’m excited and I’m ready and I want to have this baby as soon as it’s ready to come out.”
She added:
“I really wanted to at least try it, and we’re only about 30 minutes from the hospital, so it’s not too bad in case of an emergency or a change of plans.
“[I’m feeling] somewhat nervous, trying not to be scared, but just prepared.
“I know that it’s going to painful, there’s going to be a lot of emotions, but I know Austin is going to be there to support me.”
The bad news is, the homebirthing option proved to not be viable and Joy-Anna had to be rushed to a hospital.
The good news is, once she was there, she delivered a happy, healthy baby boy.
These days, Joy is loving new motherhood, and baby Gideon is getting bigger by the day.

Demi Lovato Overdose: Yes, She Nearly Died
In a newly-released 911 call, an assistant for Demi Lovato calls paramedics and tells them that the singer is unconscious in her bed.
This unnamed assistant comes across as surprisingly calm while talking to the dispatcher, as you can hear in the following video:
HOWEVER, a new report wants to make something very clear.
No matter how reasonable this assistant may sound in the call and no matter what you may have read about Lovato’s drug overdose on Tuesday morning, do not be fooloed.
Lovato nearly killed herself.
The artist is very lucky to be alive right now.
According to a TMZ insider, if the 911 call had taken place even just a short period of time later, or if the EMTs had been delayed in arriving at Demi’s house, “she could have died.”
Lovato was not conscious and just barely breathing when she was discovered at around 11:30 a.m. and the the above call was placed.
As previously detailed, Lovato was given a dose of Narcan to counter the effects of whatever opioids she was on, which is a common maneuver for someone discovered in the singer’s troubled state.
Once she awoke, Lovato was reportedly uncooperative.
She refused to tell the paramedics or doctors exactly what she had ingested.
Multiple outlets have confirmed that Demi was out partying the night before at a bar in the Los Angeles area, throwing back shots with some shady friends.
A group of these same friends then made their way back to Lovato’s residence and continued the party until around 4 a.m.
It’s unclear whether any stuck around and were present when the medical technicians arrived hours later.
But it does seem clear at this point that those especially close to the singer have been urging her to find help for a long time now.
“Her family has realized they are not out of the woods yet and are very concerned that she doesn’t see the severity of her issues and are worried because she thinks she can control her addiction,” a source tells Entertainment Tonight.
This source explains that Lovato’s relatives feel this way even after the overdose.
They are still unconvinced that Demi is ready to commit to rehab in the way that she needs to.
Lovato had been candid with fans for years about her history with addiction and also with eating disorders.
She was sober for six years prior to relapsing this spring, even confessing to the said relapse via the lyrics in the song “Sober.”
“There was a sit-down talk with Demi and her team about a month ago to address her no longer being sober,” another insider tells ET, adding:
“Demi’s team has been down this path with her before and, although hesitant at first, she agreed to go to rehab.
“However, it took her manager, Phil McIntyre, and others saying they’d walk away from her if she didn’t get the help to convince her.”
Let’s all continue to pray that Lovato soon sees the light and is willing to begin on her path to sobriety once again,

Jenelle Evans Reaches Out to Demi Lovato: I Almost Died From Drugs!
As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Demi Lovato suffered an overdose that resulted in the singer being hospitalized on Tuesday.
The singer is now in stable condition and recovering in the presence of her family.
Many in Hollywood have reached out to Demi via social media to offer words of encouragement and support.
Jenelle Evans is one such star, but her message to Demi was more poignant than most.
If you’re a Teen Mom 2 fan, then you’re probably aware that Jenelle has also struggled with addiction throughout much of her life.
In the wake of yesterday’s frightening news, Jenelle took to Twitter to offer a very personal message of hope:
“If you need help or support in time of immediate need, please seek it,” Evans tweeted.
“Hearing this news about @ddlovato breaks my heart. I hope she’s okay. You’re strong girl, don’t let the devil drag you down.”
For all of her many faults — and those faults are profound and plentiful, to be sure — Jenelle deserves credit for being so open about her past struggles with addiction in recent years.
She revealed the depth of her struggles in a recent memoir:
“I won’t glamorize the drug by going into the long details of why people love it so damned much,” Jenelle wrote.
“Before I knew it, I was shooting up four or five times a day. I was hooked.” She continued, “The first thing I lost to the drug was my family.”
Jenelle and Demi are about the same age; they both found fame while still in their teens; and they’ve both struggled with addiction and emotional issues during their years in the spotlight.
So while they may seem like unlikely bedfellows, Jenelle can probably relate to Demi’s plight more than just about everyone.
Demi’s story is a familiar one, but sadly, many of the celebrities who have traveled down her current path didn’t live long enough to turn things around.
So while it’s hard to imagine Jenelle being a source of inspiration to anyone, she may be just the sort of role model Demi needs.
Fortunately, reps for Lovato say she’s currently and ready to begin the long and painful process of recovery:
“She is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers, and support,” says one insider.
We wish Demi and her family all the best during this incredibly difficult time.

Farrah Abraham: My Kid"s Dog Died for Real, Watch Her Cry Over It!
Farrah Abraham has never been known to be compassionate or thoughtful, nor has she been known to make solid parenting choices.
But still, this new thing is despicable, even for her.
Just days after she handed herself a brand new scandal by trying to convince her daughter to "prank" some friends by telling them her dog died, her dog actually died.
Yep, karma acted swiftly here, and unfortunately, a sweet little dog named Blue paid the price.
But the way Farrah is handling the situation is sincerely unbelievable …

Farrah thought it was a good idea to pull Sophia out of school so that she could homeschool her. In reality, it was not a good idea at all, because if Farrah has such trouble stringing a sentence together, how is she going to be responsible for a child’s entire education?

There’s also that whole thing where she seems incapable of understanding that some things should be off limits for children, like discussions about her sex tape and eyebrow waxings.

But earlier this week, Farrah went and topped herself by trying to convince Sophia and her friends to prank someone by telling them that her dog died.

It was weird because how is that a prank? Farrah’s master plan was for Sophia to ring someone doorbell, run away, and then go back and tell that person that her dog had died. Is that … is that supposed to be funny? What is even the point? Also, how twisted is that idea?!
