Scott Disick: Will He Fall Off the Wagon Following Sofia Richie Split?
Over the weekend, the world learned the not-so-shocking news that Scott Disick and Sofia Richie have ended their relationship.
Nothing about the situation was surprising, including the fact that the breakup allegedly happened because Disick got caught cheating.
And now, if everything proceeds apace, and Scott continues being so predictable, the next step will have him embarking on a Nicolas Cage in Leaving Las Vegas-caliber bender.
And that’s not just us being cynical.
Before he met Sofia, Scott was drinking so much that friends were reportedly afraid for his life.
And if we’ve learned anything from watching Disick endlessly repeat his mistakes for the past decade it’s that the man is a creature of habit to the bitter end.
So it comes as no surprise that those who know him best are deeply worried about the possibility that the newly-adrift Scott will spiral out of control.
Also not surprising — the most concerned party is Kourtney Kardashian, a woman who would no doubt love to cut ties with Scott for good, but is forever tethered to him by the three children they have together.
“Her concern is that Scott will go back to partying every day and be MIA,” a source tells People magazine.
As you may recall, Scott’s last bender was prompted by his breakup with Kourtney.
While the rest of the world might have seen Disick’s relationship with Richie as the ill-advised fling that it was, Scott reportedly believed they were both in it for the long haul.
And now that they’ve called it quits, it’s widely expected that Scott will suffer another meltdown.
Though Kourtney always felt that Sofia, 19, was much too young for Scott, 35, she appreciated the stabilizing effect Richie seemed to have on Disick.
“Sofia was a good influence on Scott,” the source says.
“Since she has been around, he has been drinking less and acting more like an adult,” said a different insider when Scott and Sofa were still dating.
“The kids are all very happy that Scott is around and Kourtney would hate for that to change,” the source added.
Hopefully, Scott can keep his kids at the forefront of his mind in the weeks to come.
It’s probably tough to transition from dating children to raising them, but we have faith in the Lord.

Arrow Season 6 Episode 11 Recap: We Fall
Cayden James may be one of the dullest villains to date on The CW’s Arrow, but he sure knows how to turn up the heat.
On Arrow Season 6 Episode 11, Cayden was killing people left, right and center to get his point across to Oliver.
Oliver turned to Quentin and gave him back control of the SCPD to try and bring some safe zones into the city because things were just getting out of hand.
William was caught up in one of the attacks when he was on a school bus on a trip. Explosions trapped him and his classmates in a tunnel.
The good thing about having a crime-fighting father is that you get some survival skills that come naturally. Things took a turn when William got cut off from his friends due to the severity of the explosions.
Oliver saved William, but the kid figured out who was behind the mask, and he was not impressed.
If you watch Arrow online, you will already know that Oliver promised his kid he would not go back to crime-fighting.
Oliver decided it was bet to let his son spend some time in the bunker to get a feel for the place. Maybe if he got to see the good that Oliver was doing, he would understand.
This gave Felicity the opportunity to talk about how amazing her husband is at what he does. Slow, but surely, William was coming around to his father’s line of work.
“Heroes don’t always make it home; I never forget that,” Felicity said before taking a look over at Laurel’s suit.
“Oliver hasn’t always been truthful, he’s not perfect, but he makes his sacrifices, and so we have to make ours. You can worry, but you have to believe he’s going to be OK. That’s the only way this works.”
Yes, Felicity is excellent at inspirational talks, and should probably give the team them instead of Oliver from here on out.
William seemed to warm to the idea of his father being the Green Arrow, so that’s the big positive.
Oliver later apologized for lying to his son and agreed that there was no excuse for lying. Oliver even went as far as offering to hang up his Green Arrow costume for good.
The kid knew how integral to saving the city his father was and wanted him to continue with it. See! There is such a thing as being open and honest.
Cayden James may have terrorized the residents of the city, but he his influence helped Oliver get closer to his son.
It’s just a shame Oliver gave up and allowed the transfer of $ 10 million to the villain at the close of the episode.
You win some; you lose some.
What did you think of the episode?
Arrow continues Thursdays on The CW.

Audrey Roloff: THIS is How You Fall in Love with God
Audrey Roloff has a lot to say about religion, love and family.
Yes, again.
The Little People, Big World star has become almost as well-known for her message about faith and God as she has for anything else, which has resulted in a bit of backlash against her.
It’s great to be open about one’s beliefs, of course.
And no one really doubts that Audrey is sincere.
But some critics out there have hurled some hate Roloff’s way because she often combines talk about God with a promotion for her own clothing line or some other item she wants readers to purchase.
It can come across as a bit tacky.
In her latest post, however, Roloff at least doesn’t include a link to her online store.
Instead, she speaks at length about her husband, Jeremy, and how her relationship with him is akin to her relationship with the Highest Power.
And it all starts with this throwback photo…
“Old photo alert! Even though we had to run and push start this bus many times, I do miss Blue Moon,” wrote Audrey to open her lengthy caption, adding:
“It was our means of transportation when we were falling in love.”
Audrey then goes on to offer more marital advice.
“I didn’t fall in love with Jeremy by spending time with him on Sunday and thinking about him on occasion throughout the week,” she explains.
“Rather, I fell in love with Jeremy by spending time with him and getting know who he was, is, and wanted to become.
“The more time I spent with Jeremy the better I knew him, and the more I grew to love him.”
Not exactly an Earth-shattering revelation here, is it?
Of course one falls in love with someone else by getting to know this other person and spending as much time with him or her as possible.
But then Roloff gets into the crux of her point, which is that you ought to view your connection to God through the same lens.
“Falling more in love with God is no different,” she preaches, expounding as follows:
“We do it by spending time with Him, and reading His word in order to know who He was, is and will be! And the more we love Him, the more we will be capable of loving others.”
Roloff does this push her “Always More” brand as she continues, once again turning off some fans by making it seem like she’s simply exploiting her faith to earn some cold, hard cash.
“As Christians, our entire life should emulate the love of Christ. Jesus tells us, in the Gospel of John, that everyone will be able to distinguish whether or not we are His disciples by how we “love one another.”
“No matter how dark and broken this world or your life may seem right now, there is ALWAYS MORE reason to love. Let love be the reason for everything you do, think, say, and are.
“We are ALWAYS capable of loving God and others MORE and MORE. ALWAYS MORE.”
Roloff concludes by quoting the bible:
1 John 3:18 “Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
This is also a theme Audrey has hammered home frequently, the idea that one must take action when it comes to love and affection.
Love is a verb; she doesn’t just like to say this, she sells t-shirts with that quote emblazoned on them.
And she sometimes uses her daughter to help her do so.
That daughter is extremely cute, however. See for yourself below:
Mark E. Smith Dies; The Fall Singer Was 60
Sad news out of the music world today, as multiple sources have confirmed that Mark E. Smith, lead singer of the iconic post-punk band The Fall, has passed away at the age of 60.
The news of Smith’s passing was confirmed via a statement issued by his band’s manager.
“It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Mark E. Smith. He passed this morning at home,” the statement reads.
“A more detailed statement will follow in the next few days. In the meantime, Pam & Mark’s family request privacy at this sad time.”
For many music fans, Smith’s death signals the end of an era.
The famously curmudgeonly vocalist and songwriter pushed rock music to its limits in the 1980s, rivaling such luminaries as David Byrne and Patti Smith in terms of innovation.
Smith was something of a transitional figure, helping to bridge the gap between the hedonistic days when classic rock was at its zenith, and the more cerebral years in which the nebulous pseudo-genre of “post punk” struck a chord with discerning music fans.
Smith formed The Fall in 1976 with original members Martin Bramah, Una Baines and Tony Friel.
Notoriously difficult to work with, Smith burned through a whopping 60 bandmates, often firing them on a whim and replacing them with amateur musicians he’d encountered at his local pub.
He’s the only member of the band to have worked on all 30 of The Fall’s albums.
Tales of Smith’s unpredictability and self-destructive behavior rival those of the most notorious punk rockers.
In one incident that led several of Smith’s collaborators to quit on the spot, the singer dumped a beer over the head of a tour bus driver as he was doing 80 MPH on a freeway.
Marc Riley, a former member of The Fall, was being interviewed on a live radio show when news of Smith’s passing broke:
“He taught me a lot about life and he taught me a lot about music,” Riley said of his former mentor.
“Aged 16 he really did teach me so much … The Fall were my favorite band when I joined and they were still my favorite band when I got kicked out.”
Smith’s ex-wife, musician and TV personality Brix Smith Start reacted to the news of his passing on Twitter:
“I’m taking the news in right now. I will put a statement out tomorrow. I hope you will all understand. Thank you for your lovely messages, they mean a lot. I love you, Brix,” she wrote.
Within minutes of when news of Smith’s passing went public, the singer’s name became a worldwide trending topic thanks to tens of thousands of social media tributes from fans, friends, and a legion of adoring fans.
