Patricia Altschul: Southern Charm Star SHADES Ashley Jacobs in Scathing Tweet

Despite some fan speculation, viewers won’t see Ashley Jacobs return to Southern Charm next season.

Ashley confirmed that on social media, claiming that it was her choice.

Patricia Altschul isn’t letting that claim stand unchallenged, and mocked Ashley’s post. Did she go too far?

“After a lot of prayerful consideration,” Ashley announced on Instagram. “I have decided not to return to Southern Charm next season.”

There was more to her announcement, and we’ll get to that.

But right now, let’s look at what one of the reigning Southern Charm stars has to say.

The absolute legend that is Patricia Altschul saw Ashley’s announcement and decided to parody it with an announcement of her own.

“After prayerful consideration,” Patricia tweeted. “I’ve decided to decline the Nobel Peace Prize and the swimsuit cover of Sports Illustrated.

Patricia Altschul shades Ashley Jacobs in tweet

Patricia Altschul is a delight.

It is clear by the implication of her tweet that, as far as she is concerned, Ashley was never considered for an invitation to return to the show.

That’s not so surprising — Ashley was never a real cast member, and was only paid for her appearance at the reunion special.

She was Thomas Ravenel’s girlfriend, and Thomas is never returning to Bravo.

(Thomas will, in fact, stand trial for sexual assault based upon the chilling allegations made by his children’s former nanny)

Patricia received a lot of cheering after her shady tweet.

Others, however, felt that she was taking things too hard.

“Quit being a bully,” demanded one Twitter denizen. “Move on.”

“You’re too old to continue these shenanigans,” the tweeter told Patricia.

(Poking at Patricia Altschul’s age isn’t just rude — it also makes your words about bullying sound a little hollow)

Patricia dismissed that particular tweet as sour grapes — possibly from Ashley herself under a fake social media account.

Despite the implication that Ashley never had the option of returning to Southern Charm, her Instagram post explained her reasoning.

“I’ve been blessed with an amazing career, family, & friends,” she wrote.

“And,” Ashley continued. “I don’t want to put those things in jeopardy for a reality tv show.”

“Honestly,” she shared. “I considered filming again because I desperately want to tell my side of the story.”

“But after experiencing how unfair the editing process can be,” she explained. “I don’t think I’ll ever have a fair shot.”

“I appreciate you all following me throughout this journey,” Ashley concluded.

We’re glad that Ashley seems to have found some peace.

Given the damage to her image as well as the visibly detrimental effects that stardom exacted upon her health, maybe it’s best that Ashley not return.

(Not everyone should be a reality star, and that is perfectly okay — Ashley is a registered nurse)

There are conflicting reports over who made this call.

Ashley and some sources say that she was offered the chance to return to the show and try to work her way into the inner circle.

Other sources — and Patricia Altschul —  say that she was never considered, because she was never really a star.

As you can see, the other ladies of Southern Charm are getting on just fine without Ashley.

But we don’t think that it’s fair to call Patricia’s words “bullying.”

It’s a shady tweet from a reality star to her former co-star.

If it were racist or homophobic or misogynistic or something along those lines, maybe.

Instead, it was one woman who appeared on a reality show mocking another. That goes with the territory.

Also, it’s worth noting that Patricia was overtly friendly to Ashley when she first joined the show.

It was Ashley’s behavior during her brief stint on Southern Charm that made Patricia feel repulsed.

Amber Heard: BLASTED for Racist Tweet About Housekeepers

Amber Heard would like to make two things very clear:

1. She is not racist.

2. The country has a major problem with racism.

The actress found herself at the center of a controversy related to this pair of issues on Tuesday, following a Tweet she wrote in response to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) setting up a road block near her home.

This is what the 32-year old star wrote shortly after midnight today:

“Just heard there’s an ICE checkpoint in hollywood, a few blocks from where I live. Everyone better give their housekeepers, nannies and landscapers a ride home tonight,” Tweeted Heard.

Her point here, of course, was that many housekeepers, nannies and landscapers are undocumented immigrants and that ICE may detain and deport them.

Is she wrong? Probably not, as a sort of extreme generalization.

But we can see why the Tweet caused some uproar, can’t you?

Amber Heard tweet

“I can see where you were going but somewhere along the way you took a wrong turn. Delete this sis,” one social media wrote.

Heard did delete the post, but she didn’t apologize for it.

Instead, she simply made the same point in a different way.

“With this human rights crisis being so politicized, it is hard to make a simple statement w/out it being used to distract from the real issues,” she explained, adding:

“Its hard for everyone to not be negatively affected by this subject n some way.”

Heard, of course, is talking about the ongoing debate over immigration, which has been spurred on by the separation of children from their parents at the border.

more heard

She later added:

“Checkpoints on your home streets….Is this the ‘great’ America we’re aiming for?” Heard wondered on Twitter as well, 10 minutes after she published her incendiary tweet.

“Raids, fences and police-state like checkpoints don’t feel like the ‘land of the free’ our immigrant ancestors built.”

Heard shared a slew of photos on her Instagram page last week while attending a #KeepFamiliesTogether rally in Marcelino Serna Port of Entry in Texas, her home state.

One image of the actress depicts her sporting a sign that read:

“Apartheid was legal. Holocaust was legal. Legality is a matter of power, not justice.”

She was joined at similar protests around the country by such celebrities as Lena Dunham, Joshua Jackson, Connie Britton, Evan Rachel Wood and Sia.

Speaking to BuzzFeed, Heard – who was born and raised in Austin – burst into tears.

She takes this issue extremely seriously and very personally.

“I was literally and figuratively raised by and with immigrants in my home and heart and life,” she told the website.

Heard, meanwhile, split from Elon Musk last summer, several months after she finalized a very messy divorce from Johnny Depp.

Tonya Harding Advances to DWTS Finale, Fans Tweet Their Fury

Ever since it was announced that Tonya Harding would join Dancing With The Stars to compete against other athletes, controversy has been building.

From the moment that it was announced, fans were disgusted that she was giving a shot at public redemption after the Nancy Kerrigan assault during their "90s rivalry.

Now, Tonya and her dance partner Sasha have continued to avoid elimination throughout the competition.

After their Rumba, they are advancing on to the finale.

Tonya"s story — from mourning her father to feeling that she"s been unjustly blacklisted for years — has won over some fans who are rooting for her.

Others are not won over, and they are incensed that she"s made it this far. In fact, some think that the show is deliberately keeping her on in order to boost ratings.

1. Some are mad at the voters

Tonya tweets 01

Remember, Dancing With The Stars has a panel of judges, but fans and viewers also cast their votes.

2. Some people watch with their parents

Tonya tweets 02

Those who remember Tonya from the ’90s may find her less sympathetic than those who are just now seeing her on television.

3. Some fans are enraged

Tonya tweets 03

No, please don’t time-travel back to 2002 and destroy a TV. They were so expensive back then!

4. Other fans are simply bewildered

Tonya tweets 04

For government or for a reality competition, democracy is one hell of a system.

5. Some think that casting her is morally irresponsible

Tonya tweets 05

Those who feel this way see the error being compounded with each episode that features Tonya.

6. Tonya’s history is hard to forget

Tonya tweets 06

Speaking of which, yes, plenty of folks have joked that Adam Rippon should be extra careful.

Blake Shelton Addresses His Cryptic Karma Tweet: Here"s the Deal ...

Recently, Blake Shelton shaded ex Miranda Lambert in a subtweet. He seemed to be gloating over her recent bad press.

He"s gotten a fair amount of backlash over it, but he"s never actually confirmed that his tweet was about Miranda.

In the video below, he"s asked directly. And he gives a very blunt answer.

The tweet, of course, read:

"Been taking the high road for a long time."

That"s debatable, but whatever.

"I almost gave up. But I can finally see something on the horizon up there!!"

It is then that he shares that he believes that someone is getting what they deserve.

"Wait!! Could it be?! Yep!! It"s karma!!"

That tweet was almost universally interpreted as a dig at Miranda Lambert, after it was revealed that she was dating a married man.

As you will see in the video below, E! caught up with Blake Shelton and asked him about the tweet.

At first, he replied:

"I don"t care what …"

He then trailed off, as if thinking better of whatever he had been about to say.

Which was probably smart.

But then … his fellow The Voice coach, Kelly Clarkson, decided to chime in.

Clarkson eagerly tells the interviewer:

"You have to know, y"all: Blake just loves stirring the pot — even if there"s nothing to stir!"

Some people like to create chaos just to see what the reaction is.

Kelly says that Blake will instigate things between her and Adam Levine for his own capricious enjoyment.

"He will literally start a fight between me and Adam out of nothing."

Here, she employs a strange analogy.

"He just enjoys to sit back and watch — and people take off like little ants! Y"all are playing into it. You are playing into it!"

We suppose that we"ve seen ants behaving frantically, but that is not the first comparison that comes to mind for frenzied speculation and drama.

Blake, after watching with amusement as Kelly exposes him as a drama instigator, does eventually decide what he wants to say.

"Look, here"s the deal: If I meant for people to know what I was talking about, I would have said what that thing was."

We told you that he was blunt.

"I"m not gonna stand here and talk about it."

Even though he is literally standing there and talking about it.

"All I"ll say is it"s amazing to see people turn it into what they want it to be, even if it doesn"t even make sense in that context."

So that"s … super vague.

Kelly then reminds him:

"You like to stir that pot!"

Miranda Lambert was with a man named Jeff Allen before she ever hooked up with Blake. Also, allegedly while she first hooked up with Blake.

Which, among other cheating rumors, doesn"t give Blake a lot of moral high ground.

Allen"s response to that subtweet about karma was to blast Blake as a lying, cheating SOB.

He later deleted the tweet, but he clearly wasn"t amused by Blake"s gloating.

We doubt that he"s amused by Blake "stirring the pot," either.

Take a look at the video and decide what you think of Blake"s "explanation."
