Carlos Correa Wins World Series, Proposes on Field, Has Won Life
Carlos Correa is a handsome 23-year old shortstop who is one of the best young players in baseball.
He helped his team, the Houston Astros, win their first-ever World Series on Wednesday night, as they defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers by a score of 5-1.
The guy could have gone out on the town afterward and had his pick of women to take home.
But it turns out Correa had already selected his woman a long time ago: Daniella Rodriguez, who was crowned Miss Texas USA in 2016.
Therefore, after celebrating with his teammates on the field, the All-Star stopped to chat with reporter Ken Rosenthal, only to interrupt his own interview because he simply could not wait any longer.
You make me the happiest person in the world, he told Rodriguez while the Fox camera rolled.
Will you marry me?
The 22-year old beauty pageant champion didn"t even reply at first. Not verbally, at least.
She burst into tears and simply kissed Correa right smack on the lips for an extended period of time.
"I was planning if we were World Series champions, I was going to do it right there," Correa told ESPN later in the night, adding:
"I don"t think that"s a stage you can create; it just has to happen. And we were able to win tonight, so perfect timing for me to get engaged."
The shortstop said he told a clubhouse attendant to please go fetch the ring in the ninth inning, once victory really did seem imminent for Houston.
"It doesn"t get any better," the 23-year-old Correa later said.
That"s for sure.

Hailey Baldwin and Shawn Mendes: Dating!
Hailey Baldwin is a top-notch model who doesn’t have to rely on her celebrity last name to get recognition. Her hotness speaks for itself.
(The last name helps, though. It does)
Well, reports are saying that she spent Halloween cozying up to a certain teen heartthrob.
All of the Baldwin girls are great examples that good things can absolutely come from bad things.
Hailey Baldwin is perhaps the best example of this.
Because, though none of the Baldwin men are known for being nice or likable, either personally or professionally, Stephen Baldwin is easily the worst Baldwin.
And that’s saying something.
But Hailey Baldwin herself has been an absolute gem.
Last year, Hailey Baldwin was publicly entangled with Justin Bieber. That was before the rest of the world had seen his penis.
If you hadn’t been familiar with her already, that’s when more people heard of her.
She’s also friends with Kylie Jenner and with other members of the young Hollywood crowd, including Jaden Smith.
Like we said, Hailey is a sweetheart and she deserves only good things.
And it looks like she has one of those good things:

Unlike some other Canadian singers who soared to stardom (Bieber) or other Vine stars (Nash Grier), he doesn’t seem to be prone to bad behavior or anything approaching a nightmare of a human being.
His albums, Handwritten and Illuminate, both debuted at #1 on the US Billboard 200.
So Shawn Mendes is one of only five artists to ever debut at #1 before turning 18. Dang.
He’s still only 19, by the way.
One needs only look at Shawn’s Instagram comments to know that he is a teen heartthrob (though, honestly, seeing a 19-year-old get called “daddy” by a fan really makes you feel the weight of time).
And it looks like, for the moment, he’s all Hailey’s.
Hailey Baldwin and Kendall Jenner threw a Halloween bash in West Hollywood, and a source tells People that Hailey Baldwin and Shawn Mendes were looking extremely cozy.
“He had his arm around Hailey and stayed by her side all night.”
That same source added that Hailey and Shawn left the party together holding hands — aww, like in old people music — at about 1am.
Hailey and Shawn had already stirred up a few relationship rumors when they were spotted at Halloween Horror Nights together. Many see this as confirmation.
Considering that 20-year-old Hailey Baldwin once admitted to having a crush on way-older John Mayer, we’re positively relieved that Shawn is such an age-appropriate pick for her.
Hailey’s got a good head on her shoulders.
It’s also worth noting that Shawn Mendes has cited John Mayer’s music as an inspiration of his. Like most people, it seems that Hailey has a couple of types … and Shawn seems to be a fusion of them.
Shawn Mendes, like we said, really seems to be a good guy.
A couple of years ago when gay rumors were following him around — perpetuated by fans who thought that he “seemed gay,” not by any stories of alleged hookups — he managed to shut down the rumors without coming across as homophobic.
Speaking of those commenters on social media, Shawn said:
“They can do or be or feel however they want to feel. Now I’m not frustrated because people were saying that I was gay at all, I have no problem with that cause it wouldn’t make a difference to me.”
Very mature.
“I’m frustrated because in this day and age, people have the audacity to write online that I’m gay as if it were a big thing.”
Like Hailey, Shawn seems to have a good head on his shoulders.
Still, we look forward to hearing an official announcement from these two that they’re dating.
