Kristin Cavallari Cuddles Daughter Saylor, Misses Laguna Beach Reunion

Yesterday, Kristin Cavallari Instagram’d a photo of her newborn daughter, Saylor James, who was wrapped in a pink blanket.

The reality star, 28, wrote about not being able to attend her high school reunion. 

Yes, it’s been ten years since Cavallari whined about “STEE-PHEN” on MTV’s Laguna Beach.

“Really sad about missing my 10 year high school reunion last night…so many people I wanted to see…but at least I have a good excuse,” Cavallari wrote.

Cavallari gave birth to Sawyer on November 23rd; the little girl is Cavallari’s third child and first daughter with Chicago Bears quarterback, Jay Cutler.

Cavallari and her fellow castmates Jason Wahler, Alex Murrel, Taylor Cole, Alex Hooser and Talan Torriero starred in the second season of Laguna Beach.

Last night, Wahler attended a Lakers game with Casey Reinhardt, who used to wear ratty hair extensions on the show and helped spread a rumor about Murrel’s personal hygiene.  Rude.

Murrel got married last year, and spoke to TooFab about who was in her wedding party, and who she still keeps in touch with.

“Well Taylor [Cole] was in the wedding, of course, and Morgan was actually my maid of honor and Alex H. [Hooser], who was also on ‘Laguna Beach,’ was in my bridal party as well,” Murrel said. 

“And you know I speak to Kristin [Cavallari] every once in a while, but she was busy and has her little guys running around. It was more of an intimate setting so I kept it to my immediate circle of friends.”

Taylor Swift vs. Adele: Unexpected Feud Alert!

In October of last year, Taylor Swift’s 1989 broke every sales record in the book, and it looked as though Taylor would reign supreme at the top of the charts for the foreseeable future.

Then Adele said “Hello” and it all came tumbling down:

In the weeks since her latest album and single were released, Adele has set records for digital sales, Vevo views and (we’re guessing) gallons of cathartic tears shed.

Not only has she claimed her place as the current queen of pop music, Adele has taken subtle shots at Taylor in interviews and cordially turned down opportunities to heap fawning praise upon Swift like the rest of the world.

Naturally, all of this has led to rumors of a rivalry.

You might think that there’s plenty of room for two songstresses at the top, but those closest to Taylor say that she’s competitive to a fault, and it seems she’s more than a little bummed that Adele has taken her spot as the number breakup balladeer.

In addition, fans have noticed that Taylor has been much quieter than usual on social media in recent weeks. 

Sources say she’s been keeping a low profile during the final weeks of her 1989 tour, and she even went so far as to cancel a planned appearance at a New Zealand awards show without providing a reason.

All of this has coincided with the release of Adele’s 25 album, but obviously, it’s possible there are other reasons that Taylor is keeping a lower profile these days.

Still, Taylor is usually the first to praise other artists, and many have pointed out that she’s been uncharacteristically quiet on the topic of Adele.

So until Ms. Swift starts singing Adele’s praises – or, better yet, invites her on stage – we think it’s safe to say this could be another instance of bad blood between Taylor and a top-selling rival.

Selena Gomez: I"m Not Dating Zayn Malik...But I Totally Would!

Though she’s been telling the press every chance she gets, no one wants to believe that Selena Gomez is single.

In addition to the usual Justin Bieber reconciliation rumors, Selena has been linked to a number of male celebs in recent months, and she recently took time to specify that there’s one famous dude who she’d definitely make time for.

Selena covers the new issue of InStyle, and when the mag asked about rumors that she’s dating Zayn Malik, Ms. Gomez made it clear that she’s definitely not hooking up with the former One Direction heartthrob…but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t thought about it.

“If he had asked me out on a date, I would be seen with him,” Selena said. “Just kidding, but not kidding,”

She went on to say that she’s currently on the market, and hating every second of it:

“I hate it,” Selena said about dating. “It’s hard and I’m weirded out by the idea that a guy has googled me before we meet, and that has happened.

“I feel like I look 16 sometimes, which is a bummer because I would love to date older guys.”

So Selena hates the single life. Perhaps that’s why she gets back together Bieber about once a month. 

He may not be an “older guy,” but he knows how to serenade Selena with an old-school tune. That’s gotta count for something, right?

Anyway, Zayn should probably make his move ASAP. We’re sure Jelena will be back on by the end of the week. 

Britney Spears Busts a Ballet Move to Adele

Unlike Taylor Swift, Adele recently admitted that she doesn"t have a celebrity-filled friend squad.

But if the 27-year old superstar would like to start one, it"s clear which fellow artist would be the very first to sign up.

Isn"t that right, Britney Spears?

Over the extended Thanksgiving weekend, Britney shared a brief video on Instagram that made it clear she"s just like everyone else on the planet:

She"s a HUGE fan of Adele!

The pop star showed off her impressive ballet skills via a black-and-white clip in which Spears is seen doing a fancy turn (a fouette, for all you dancing experts out there) while Adele"s "Hello" plays in the background.

"I could dance to this song a MILLION times…love you @adele!" Britney captioned the video.

And the affection between singers is apparently mutual, as Adele told i-D magazine in October that she"d love to go see Britney"s "Piece of Me" show in Las Vegas.

When Spears saw this quote, she reached out on Twitter with a personal invitation, writing:

".@Adele I’ll trade you 2 tickets to my show for 2 tickets to YOURS! Stop by #PieceOfMe and say #Hello anytime!"

Adele, of course, has burst back on to the music scene with her latest album and single.

She has broken numerous records with "Hello," her performed as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live and is pretty much on top of the music world once again after just a month or so.

With Britney now in her corner, there"s no telling how far Adele can go.
