But now fans of this series, and human beings in general, are reading the latest news about ex-Family Matters star Darius McCrary and wondering:
Wait… did he really do all that?!?
According to McCrary’s wife, Tammy Brawner, the actor essentially lost his mind during a frightening incident on February 10.
Per TMZ, McCrary is accused of throwing picture frames and other objects around the home at Tammy, while also hitting her in the head with his forearm.
She says the items McCrary hurled came dangerously close to the couple’s 16-month-old daughter, Zoey.
As if these allegations weren’t disturbing enough, Tammy also claims that McCrary has abused the aforementioned infant on numerous instances.
In legal papers, she cites one especially horrifying time when he held the child over a boiling pot of water and said he wished he she never existed.
YIKES.
In documents obtained by TMZ, Brawner also says that McCrary often spanked his daughter and strapping down her arms during meals.
Tammy, who is actually former Harlem Globetrotter, alleges that the actor frequently imbibes, takes drugs and comes home wasted and violent.
A judge has read over Tammy’s filed papers and orders McCrary to move out of their home.
The judge has also granted Tammy a temporary order of protection against her husband.
He must stay 100 yards away from Tammy and Zoey at all times and is barred from visitation until after a court hearing next month.
Tammy says she plans to file for divorce.
This is not the first time disturbing allegations have been made public about McCrary.
Back in 2010, he was accused of choking and beating ex-wife Karrine Steffans.
She also accused him of similar abuse two years earlier.
A child actor who started his career at age 10, McCrary portrayed Eddie Winslow on Family Matters.
He most recently appears on the programs The Leftovers, Pitch and Star.
