It’s been five weeks since we first found out that Kailyn Lowry is pregnant with her third child, and during that time, one question has loomed large in the minds of Teen Mom 2 diehards, and the less she reveals the more curious they get.
Fans desperately want to know the identity of Kailyn’s baby daddy, and thus far, Kailyn ain’t talking.
There are plenty of theories, of course, and Kailyn’s friend Chris Lopez seems to have emerged as the early front-runner.
But Kailyn still hasn’t said a word on the topic, and now it’s beginning to look like she never will.
“Kailyn may or may not reveal the information when she feels the time is right,” says a source, in what is literally the vaguest possible statement that anyone could make about any situation.
So why is Kailyn so hesitant to spill the tea?
Well, there’s a number of reasons she may have decided to remain silent.
One is that Kailyn has simply grown tired of fans who feel as though they’re entitled to information about her personal life.
“People are asking her daily — dying to find out the name of the daddy and the gender of the baby,” the source explains.
“However, she is simply not ready to share that information.”
Of course, there’s another (and frankly, far more likely) possibility, as well:
It’s very possible that Kailyn has been offered a bonus for making the reveal during an episode of Teen Mom.
“The news will likely come out at some point, because the cameras will probably be rolling again soon,” the insider.
Yes, it could be that Kailyn is only protective of her privacy until the price is right.
And who could blame her?
Her private life is the product that she’s selling, and as the show approaches a decade on the air, the girl’s gotta be realistic and start thinking about her future.
TM2 is so popular these days that it’s hard to imagine that fans will ever lose interest, but there was a time when we might have said the same about Jersey Shore.
Unfortunately for MTV, it might be tough to pull off the logistics of that reveal.
