Well, there’s a headline we hoped to never write.
Yes, several media outlets are reporting today that Chris Brown and Rihanna are back in communication after years apart.
Worse, despite assuring their inner circles that they’re rebuilding their relationship on a purely platonic level, it seems Breezy and RiRi have been getting flirty in their text and social media exchanges.
“They’ve totally been talking again,” a source confirms to Hollywood Life.
“It started out on social media, and then progressed to texting.”
And as it often does with exes, the texting developed into sexting:
“They swore to keep things platonic — yeah right,” says the insider.
“It’s already escalated to sexting. They’re addicted to each other. The smallest thing can put them right to where they started.”
Friends fear that from the point they’re at now, it’s only a matter of time before Chris and Rihanna are back to engaging in their favorite activity: hotel sex.
“Soon they’ll be meeting up in hotel rooms,” the source continues.
“They always loved hooking up in hotel rooms.”
And if you’re wondering why Chris and Rih reuniting is such a bad thing, we can only assume you have a very short memory, or you’re new to the world of celebrity gossip.
Brown assaulted Rihanna in 2009 just hours before he was scheduled to perform at the Grammy Awards.
The songstress was left badly injured, but thankfully, she’s made a full recovery.
Somehow, Chris’ career also mended, and he remains one of the top selling artists in his genres.
But if you thought the incident might have taught Brown a lesson about the importance of controlling his psychotic temper, you would be sadly mistaken.
The singer continues to torment the women in his life, and his most recent girlfriend, model Karrueche Tran, recently revealed that she fears Brown will kill her if he’s given the chance.
It’s amazing Chris finds the time to be such a terrible person in so many different ways, especially since his criminal behavior keeps landing him behind bars.
You would thing being locked up would negatively affect Chris’ ability to make life worse for those around him, but he remains committed to the task.
You might say he’s a hero.
But then the rest of the world would correct you and remind you that he’s actually just a piece of human garbage.
