Paris Jackson: Frightened For Brother Blanket"s Future

Paris Jackson has been in the news a lot lately, and that’s no accident.

Though she doesn’t have a project to promote, Paris is in the midst of a full-blow media blitz, and she reportedly has a staff of 20 full-time employees who are tasked with keeping her in the headlines.

But Paris has admitted to being conflicted with regard to her public image – while she enjoys the spotlight, she doesn’t relish her fans’ intense interest in her personal life.

(We’re not sure what else they’re supposed to be interested in, as – like we said – Paris doesn’t seem to be launching a career as anything other than a professional famous person, but that’s a conversation for another time.)

She’s particularly sensitive about issues pertaining to her late, legendary father and her two brothers.

In addition to being fiercely protective of Michael Jackson’s legacy, Paris has reportedly assumed the role of a de facto mother figure to her  younger brother, Blanket.

Unfortunately, Paris is not the 15-year-old’s legal guardian, and she’s reportedly in the midst of a feud with those who are tasked with legally caring for Blanket.

According to TMZ, though Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson, is the boy’s legal guardian, she often passes off her responsibilities to Blanket’s aunt Rebbie Jackson.

Paris has reportedly complained that Blanket is essentially living by himself these days, as Katherine has not stayed at her Calabasas home at all in 2017.

Sources say she started the year with a two-month trip to London and has been living with Rebbie ever since.

Blanket’s uncle T.J. Jackson frequently stays at Katherine’s home in order to keep an eye on Blanket, but insiders say Paris feels that’s not enough supervision.

To make matters worse, Katherine reportedly has no contact with Paris or T.J., and Paris reportedly blames Rebbie for the cold shoulder she’s receiving from her grandmother.

The good news is, Blanket is said to be thriving at his posh private school, receiving almost all A’s and coming out of his shell socially.

There was a time when those closest to the boy feared that he would remain permanently shy and anxious as the result of the twin traumas of losing his father and being forced into the spotlight at such a young age.

This is the latest in a long line of rifts involving Paris and the members of her famous family.

For years, Paris was estranged from her mother, Debbie Rowe, but the 18-year-old patched up that relationship after learning that her mother had been diagnosed with cancer.
