Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin haven’t exactly gotten along lately …
A divorce, multiple accusations of cheating by both parties, a jealousy-driven break-in and a protective order will do that.
They’ve been through a lot in the past several months — and just from what we’ve seen on Teen Mom 2 and through their numerous passive aggressive social media posts and interviews, who knows what else has happened behind closed doors.
But now it seems like somehow, someway, Kailyn is finally ready to put everything behind them.
Earlier this week, she retweeted a pretty telling message that read “I like maturity like admitting where you went wrong, where I went wrong, where we went wrong & working on it together for a better outcome.”
It wasn’t exactly well received, as followers replied with things like “I’m sorry but you can’t retweet this after this past season of #tm2” and “You can’t be effing serious …”
Which, you know, fair.
As we saw on the show, Kailyn picked fights with Javi at every possible opportunity, including just a few minutes after he returned home after being deployed for six months.
She even let her hostility towards Javi affect her son, Isaac. Who could forget when she was so cold to him when he was feeling hurt and confused by losing Javi?
Javi repeatedly tried to fix things between them, but Kailyn wasn’t interested, not even a little bit. Probably because she’d already moved on to her mysterious Baby Daddy #3.
But now that Kailyn is expecting her third child in just a few short months, she may be ready to be the bigger person.
And not a moment too soon, huh?
Unfortunately, though she may be willing to work things out with Javi now, even if only so that things could be amicable between them, it looks like it’s too little, too late.
Though Javi recently claimed that he and Kailyn are “doing really well” and that “everything is behind us now and we’ve moved on,” there remains that little fact that he’s releasing a tell-all about their marriage.
Late last month, he revealed that he’d officially gotten a publisher for the book, titled Heartlessly Hustled — a clear (and cold) play on the title of Kailyn’s second memoir, Hustle & Heart.
About the book, he’s said “Fans can expect a story about a man who thought he figured out life,” but “lies and cheating were swept beneath his nose for a long time!”
It’s also, he described, about “what it’s like now to raise a smart, energetic little boy alone.”
So … yeah, it doesn’t seem like these two are going to be “working on it together for a better outcome” anytime soon.
