Scandal is coming to an end.
Roseanne is coming back into our lives.
And so much more!
Click around below for a rundown of all the announcements ABC has made in regard to its 2017-2018 schedule…
1. Scandal is Coming to an End
Shonda Rhimes has confirmed that Season 7 will be the last, saying: “Next year we are going all out. Leaving nothing on the table. Creating this world in celebration. We are going to handle the end the way we like to handle the important things in our Scandal family: all together, white hats on, gladiators running full speed over a cliff.”
2. The Return of Roseanne!
Yup, this is happening. Roseanne Barr and John Goodman are on board for an eight-episode reboot of the sitcom.
3. And the Return of Jimmy Kimmel!
The comedian will once again host the Oscars in 2018.
4. Under the Sea, On the Air
The network is planning The Wonderful World of Disney: The Little Mermaid Live!, which is described as a “live action/animation hybrid television experience.” The event will air on October 3.
5. A Dancing with the Stars Spinoff is on the Way
Titled “Dancing with the Stars,” it will feature both celebrity kids and kids of celebrities and pair them up with young pro dancers to perform choreographed ballroom routines for a panel of expert judges.
6. And So Is One for The Bachelor
The Bachelor Winter Games is actually on the way. For real. It will air opposite NBC’s coverage of the 2018 Winter Olympics and it will feature Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants thrown together in a snow-covered ski resort to compete in a series of winter-themed athletic challenges, “including the toughest sport of all — love,” per ABC. Amazing.
