Anna Duggar Birth Details: What Do We Know?

As previously reported, Anna Duggar and Josh Duggar just became parents…

… for the FIFTH time.

The former reality stars welcomed a son named Mason Garrett this week, expanding a brood that also includes seven-year old Mackynzie, six-year-old Michael, four-year old Marcus and two-year old Meredith.

We can’t imagine what it must be like at home on a daily basis with so many young children around.

We also can’t imagine actually giving birth, but a family rep provided a few exclusive details to Us Weekly regarding just what transpired between Anna, her womb, her vagina and her impending baby on Monday morning.

“Anna gave birth at her home in Northwest Arkansas with a midwife,” says the Duggar insider, adding in further detail:

“Her water broke Monday morning early and she labored all day before having Mason at 1:22 a.m. Tuesday. Both her mom and Mrs. [Michelle] Duggar are there now helping out.”

Here is the very first photo of little Mason:

What a cutie, right?

Josh and Anna announced they were expecting again this past March, about two years after it came out that Josh molested multiple girls (including his own sisters) back when he was a teenager.

Shortly afterwards, Josh was also forced to confess that he cheated on Anna and claimed to be addicted to pornography.

He eventually checked into a faith-based rehab facility for several months, completing his stint in March of 2016.

“We are so thankful and happy to announce the arrival of our new son, Mason Garrett Duggar. Both he and Anna are doing well,” reads the Duggar family blog entry that announced Mason’s existence.

The entry concluded:

“He arrived today without complication and we already adore him. The entire family is ecstatic over the arrival of another beautiful blessing.

“We want to thank everyone for your prayers, kind words and well wishes. We appreciate it much more than we could ever express.

“We pray God blesses each of you with an abundance of the kindness you’ve shown us.”

These Duggars started dating in 2006 after meeting at a Christian homeschooling convention.

They got married at the Buford Grove Baptist Church in Hilliard, Florida, in September 2008; the ceremony was featured on season 2 of their TLC reality series, 19 Kids and Counting, in 2009.

That series has since been canceled, of course, due to Duggar’s history of very shady behavior.

We haven’t heard much from Josh or Anna at all over the past couple years, in fact, as the stars have been doing all they can to sustain their relationship.

They’ve seemingly realized that it hasn’t been healthy for their romance to play out in the spotlight.

Heck, there was talk of the pair being in marriage counseling as a recently as a week before they became five-time parents.

The two are “trying desperately to salvage their troubled relationship,” a source told Radar Online earlier this month.

Will they be successful? At this point, we’d have to imagine so. They aren’t about to break up just as another baby enters the picture.

And, for the sake of that baby, let’s truly hope Anna and Josh find a way to peacefully and happily co-exist.
