Amelia struggled to come to terms with her brain tumor diagnosis on Grey’s Anatomy Season 14 Episode 3, and she had to reveal all the details to her friends and family.
Harper Avery was stopping by the hospital to assess the changes after Bailey decided it was time to spruce the place up in the aftermath of the fire.
Bailey was on edge because he could make or break the future of the hospital. Jackson was allowed to attend the meeting, and his grandfather was nothing but negative about him.
When the price of the changes went above $ 15 million, Harper decided to pull funding. Bailey was unimpressed with this and said that it would create negative PR for his company because everyone would know why he pulled out.
This paved the way for him to say that the funding can stay, but Bailey could not. Yes, he totally fired Bailey on the spot. All was not lost, however.
Bailey stormed back in the room to lay down the law, and the old man was dead. So, Bailey got to keep her job, after all.
Elsewhere, Amelia called in the man who taught her to help her fight her brain tumor. His name was Tom, and he was one of the rudest man ever to walk the halls of Grey Sloan Memorial.
He called her incompetent and said she needed to steer clear of patients. Amelia questioned whether she had killed any patients due to her health.
In the end, she found out more of Derek’s patients died than hers, so that put her mind at ease. Her revelation also brought her closer together with Owen.
Will she survive? We have no idea, but we’re intrigued.
Elsewhere, Meredith got some much-needed guidance when her former psychiatrist, Walter checked into the hospital and she immediately tried to get some therapy while looking after him.
She noted that she was angry more than anything with Riggs because of the way he went about the whole thing when Megan returned home. Meredith’s frustration stemmed from her not getting a chance to get back with Derek.
In her mind, Riggs should have a happy ending with Megan, but the big issue was that he loved Meredith.
If that was not enough drama, Carina urged Arizona to get her patient to hit orgasm to start crowning or endure hours of labor pains. Unsurprisingly, it worked.
