It’s official:
Chris Zylka wants to spend more than just one night in Paris.
The actor (90210, Twisted, The Leftovers) and the former sex tape star announced their engaged via a feature in People Magazine, marking the first time anyone has heard from Hilton in approximately six years.
“I am so excited to be engaged to the love of my life and my best friend,” Hilton told the publication, which just happened to have a camera on hand when Zylka got down on one knee.
Added the ex-A-Lister:
“I have never felt so happy, safe and loved. He is perfect for me in every way and showed me that fairytales really do exist!”
Zylka proposed to Hilton during a vacation in Aspen over the weekend.
The stars met around eight years ago at an Academy Awards party, but reconnected in 2016 and became Instagram official in February of last year.
They were posing for a picture on the slopes after grabbing some lunch in the ski town when Zylka got down on one knee with the stunning rung.
Despite a People photographer literally standing right there at the time, Hilton says she was taken aback by the romantic turn of events.
“I was so excited and surprised! I immediately said yes!” she gushed to the magazine.
Zylka and Hilton, meanwhile, may have been dating for about a year now, but Kim Kardashian‘s former boss and BFF says she didn’t need this long to know he was The One.
“Ever since our first date I knew there was something special about him.
“I have never in my life met a man so loyal, dedicated, and loving. I knew right from the start that I wanted to be with him forever.”
And now she will be!
Since going public with their romance early last year, Hilton and Zylka have been anything but shy on social media.
“One day, someone will walk into your life & make you see why it never worked out with anyone else,” Paris wrote as a recent Instagram caption to the pair kissing, for example.
In July, Zylka got a tattoo of Hilton’s first name on his forearm in Disney font, an act of true love, according to Hilton.
“Such a lucky girl!” she wrote at the time, continuing:
“My love surprised me & got my name tattooed in #Disney font. And said cause I’m his most magical place on Earth & he finally found his fairytale princess. #BoyfriendGoals.”
How… sweet?
We guess?
Zylka, for his part, does seem pretty serious about settling down with Hilton.
“Paris is the most beautiful and incredible woman both inside and out,” Zylka tells People, concluding:
“I feel like the luckiest man in the world to be marrying my dream girl. I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.”
