On Saturday night, LeBron James took the basketball the length of the court in the closing eight seconds of his team’s second round playoff game against the Toronto Raptors.
With the score tied, he leaped high off one foot and banked in a crazy running-lay up from about 18 feet away that went in and put the Cleveland Cavaliers up three games to none.
It was an amazing shot.
Yet it was only the second best shot of the evening.
And that’s because this NBA game served as proof that Tristan Thompson really does have a second shot with Khloe Kardashian.
According to TMZ, Khloe was actually in attendance for the contest, which was held at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
She has remained in that city ever since giving birth to her and Thompson’s daughter, True, back on April 12.
Kardashian was escorted by a security guard to her seat at the game, with TMZ even sharing a photo of Khloe and this guard as evidence.
This is the second time in the past few days that Kardashian and Thompson have been spotted out and about, following another picture snapped of the stars eating lunch in Ohio.
But it’s possible this meal was meant to be private.
It’s conceivable Khloe and Tristan were just hungry and didn’t have many options at home and were trying to grab a quick bite without being noticed.
Conversely, it’s nearly impossible to interpret Kardashian’s attendance at a playoff game watched by millions as anything but a very public showing off support for her cheating baby daddy.
Which makes us sad, but not shocked.
Those who have been keeping up with this Kardashian and her response to Thompson cheating on her left and right have likely been reading various quotes that make it clear Khloe isn’t ready to walk away from the romance just yet.
Is she ignorant of his infidelity?
Is she in denial that he would do it again?
Is she putting aside her personal feelings in order to do what she thinks is best for her daughter?
Does she think that getting married will change everything for the better?
We can’t get inside Khloe’s head. We don’t know her exact thinking on the topic right now.
However, an insider told Us Weekly last Friday that the two are “fully back together” following the scandal that went viral in mid-April.
“No one in her world is supporting Tristan and she’s still in love with him,” the source told this tabloid, adding that Khloe feels as if “the whole world is against Tristan.”
Well, yeah.
The guy stuck his penis in basically any person with boobs for months on end, even while his girlfriend was pregnant with his kid.
Should we not be against Tristan for this reason?!?
Photos published by The Shade Room back on April 7 showed Thompson entering a hotel with Instagram model Lani Blair, while Khloe was over eight months along.
Elsewhere, a video posted by TMZ on April 10 depicted the Cavaliers rebounding machine kissing two different women in Washington D.C. in October.
Those close to Khloe are attempting to support whatever she decides, but are clearly struggling with any acceptance of Thompson.
“I’m so proud of that kid,” Kris Jenner said last week while appearing opposite Ellen DeGeneres, adding:
“I get choked up because she’s such a good mom and honestly I get so emotional.
“I was in Cleveland last week, it was snowing, and she was all nestled in the nursery and the baby. She’s just concentrating on that, just being a mom, her baby and that’s what her sisters are doing as well.
“She’s so excited about motherhood and trying to get the nursing thing down, which is a little tricky. She’s trying, she’s really trying.
“That was a little bit tricky when I was there … She’s figuring it out one day at a time, she’s just the best mom already.”
