It is a special time to be a member of the Royal Family.
On July 9, Prince Louis was Christened in London, an occasion nearly as exciting and special as the wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle about two months prior.
Several days after this religious ceremony was performed, Kensington Palace has released FIVE official portraits from the Christening.
And they are truly magical.
Captured by photographer Matt Holyoak, the images were snapped in and around Clarence House.
You really need to scroll down and take a close look at them now:
1. At the Christening
Photographers were on hand to capture the Christening itself, too. Before getting to the official portraits, here are some snapshots from the ceremony.
2. A Family Event
Middleton was accompanied for the big day by her husband and two other kids, Charlotte and George. What cuties, right?
3. It’s Over!
Here is this immediate Royal Family walking out of the Christening. What a blessed day for them, one captured for all of eternity by Holyoak.
4. The Royal Family
William and Kate and their kids were surrounded by both sides of their family in the official photo taken at Clarence House. William is seen here with his father, Prince Charles and wife Duchess Camilla, and his brother Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan. Kate’s mother and father, Carole and Michael Michael Middleton, stood alongside their children, Pippa and her husband, James Matthews, and James Middleton
5. With All 3 Kids
Princess Charlotte provided us with a cheeky grin in a portrait with her parents and brothers. If a picture says one thousand words, these words would all be synonyms for “precious.”
6. It’s Duchess Meghan Markle!
And others, too, of course. The picture was taken in the Morning Room at Clarence House, the London home of Prince Charles and his wife, Duchess Camilla.
