Heroic Father Enables Daughter to Trick or Treat on Board Airplane
Good news, readers:
Not all flights conclude with a former reality star being taken away in handcuffs.
Some, in fact, end with passengers reduced to tears as the result of an inspiring act by a fellow human being.
This is one such story…
An unnamed father on board a Virgin America flight from Boston to Los Angeles on Monday night didn’t want his three-year old daughter to miss out on Halloween.
So he handed out candy to his fellow passengers and also gave them a note along with it.
The note read as follows:
My 3-year old daughter, Molly, was bummed that she wouldn’t be able to go trick-or-treating this year due to this flight… so I decided to bring trick-or-treating to her.
If you are willing, when my little donut comes down the aisle, please drop this in her basket. You’ll be making her Halloween! If you’re unwilling, no worries, just pass the treat back to me.
Thanks so much!
Oh, yes, the little girl was dressed like a donut.
Just in case you thought this tale couldn’t get any cuter.
“OMG, my heart is exploding right now. Dad of the year just passed out candy to everyone on the flight so his 3 year old could trick or treat,” wrote a passenger who witnessed the act and then talked about it on Twitter.
“He started handing out the treats… He handed them out mostly to folks in the aisle and middle seats,” this Twitter user, Stephanie, told BuzzFeed News.
She added:
“When I first got on the plane, I overheard the little girl talking about how she was excited to trick or treat. I felt sad because I was thinking about how when we landed in San Francisco it would be way too late to trick or treat.”
Also making this story even better?
The father did not want to be identified or quoted by Buzzfeed.
He just wanted to make his little girl happy. That was it.
“The father said that he had this planned for a while with her as a special treat,” said Stephanie, who was sitting in front of the loved ones.
“The few rows around me were really into it and thought it was absolutely adorable.”
How could they not?!?
Stephanie told the dad that she Tweeted about him during the flight and the story had bee re-Tweeted 5,000 times already.
“I could tell he was pretty humbled hearing that what he did caused such a positive reaction,” she said.
“He obviously wasn’t doing it for the reaction he just was genuinely doing it for his daughter.”

Dancing with the Stars Season 23: Who"s on Board?

We already know who’s going to win!
Just kidding. Sort of.
According to multiple outlets, however, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles is set to sign on for Season 23.
She just won four Gold Medals and is considered by many to already be the best gymnast in U.S. history and we don’t think it’s going too far out on a limb to predict her victory.
We know Biles can move. We know she’s flexible. We know she has amazing hand-eye coordination.
Would you bet against her?!?
Moreover, though the years, gymnasts such as Nastia Liukin, Shawn Johnson and Biles’ teammate Aly Raisman have all fared well on the ABC competition.
E! News, meanwhile, also reports that JoJo Fletcher will go Dancing with the Stars this fall.
This would continue another tradition: the network recycling its own Bachelor and Bachelorette stars on the program.
Fletcher, of course, originally competed on Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor and just gave former football player Jordan Rodgers the final rose on The Bachelorette finale last month.
We don’t think it’s going out on too much of a limb to say that she will NOT win.
Finally, E! also claims Jake T. Austin is under serious consideration for Season 23.
This actor tarred on Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place alongside Selena Gomez prior to landing a role on Freeform’s The Fosters from 2013-2015.
This would also follow the usual Dancing with the Stars form.
The series nearly always casts on young actor, often from a Disney program.
Carlos PenaVega and Janel Parrish come to mind as examples.
All of those who compete on Season 23 will be hoping to follow in the Mirrorball Trophy-winning footsteps of Nyle DiMarco.
The hunky model and actor became one of the few non-athletes to win the whole thing last year.
ABC has declined to comment on this initial casting report, but the complete season 23 announcement will take place on Good Morning America on Tuesday, August 30.
The competition will then kick off with the season premiere on Monday, September 12 at 8/7c on ABC.

Rob Kardashian Gushes Over Blac Chyna, Baby on Board
Many questions continue to surround Blac Chyna’s pregnancy.
Is the model having twins? Does she already know the impending baby’s gender?
We may need to wait a little while for the answers, but we need not wait another millisecond to know how Rob Kardashian feels about his future son or daughter.
The reality star is pretty gosh darn excited.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians actor has shared a new image on Instagram, one that features his famous fiancee peering out over a balcony and one that includes the following caption:
“My beautiful babies in Miami.”
As you can see, the photo depicts Blac Chyna in black leggings and a crop top, showing off her growing baby bump.
As you can also see, the father-to-be included multiple emojis in his sweet message, most notably a bride, baby, heart smiley faces and canoes.
Yes, canoes. Why bother asking why?
Earlier this year, Rob and Chyna stunned the world when they announced their engagement.
But then they put that announcement to shame weeks later when they announced they were expecting their first child together.
Chyna is already the mom to a three-year old son named King Cairo.
She shares custody with Tyga, who had been seriously dating Kylie Jenner for two years until their recent split, which explains the simmering feud between her and Rob’s sisters.
It’s a complicated situation.
But remember: it wasn’t very long ago that Rob was overweight, depressed and even rumored to be hooked on drugs.
Ever since getting with Blac Chyna, he’s returned to social media, returned to the public eye (see the photo gallery above) and seems legitimately psyched to be a father.
That’s quite the transformation, isn’t it?
It’s always amazing what true love can do.
