Corinne Olympios Closes the Book on Bachelor in Paradise Scandal

Corinne Olympios has a few more things she would like to say.

Following the announcement that a slightly revamped Bachelor in Paradise will resume filming on Season 4, the controversial contestant at the center of the show’s latest scandal has issued a new statement.

Below, Corinne reiterates her belief that she was made into a victim, while she also makes a final declaration regarding her role on the ABC series.

“In light of the overwhelming amount of misinformation that has been spread in the media, I want to clarify a few things,” Olympios begins.

“My intent over the past few weeks has been to learn and understand what happened on June 4.”

On that date, of course, Corinne and DeMario Jackson ended up naked in a pool after downing many alcoholic drinks together.

They got very far sexually, with Jackson recently describing the raunchy hook-up in detail, only for a producer to tell executives that Olympios may have been too drunk to give DeMario consent.

Once this allegation was leveled, production was shut down and the cast sent home.

About two weeks later, an internal investigation determined no misconduct had taken place and Warner Bros. confirmed Season 4 would air this summer as originally scheduled.

In a previous statement, Olympios had described herself as a “victim,” while her attorney came out last week and implied his client may still press charges.

But it doesn’t sound as if that will be the case any longer.

“While I never filed complaints or accusations against anyone associated with Bachelor In Paradise, my team and I felt it was very important to be thorough in getting to the bottom of what occurred,” Olympios said on Thursday, adding:

“I felt victimized by the fact that others were judging me through conflicting and unsubstantiated reports, while I myself had no recollection of the events that transpired.”

We can’t say for certain what happened between Olympios and Jackson.

But DeMario has outlined how aggressive Corinne was during their hook-up, even thrusting her naked crotch directly in his face at one point and demanding oral sex.

It’s certainly possible she was blackout drunk at the time… later learned that a third party had serious questions about all that took place between her and Jackson… and then freaked out because she really had no memory of her nude actions.

Jackson even stood up for Corinne in an interview with E! News this week.

Continued Olympios in her statement:

“My team’s investigation into this matter has now been completed to my satisfaction. I am also happy about the changes that have been made to the production of Bachelor In Paradise.”

(Warner Bros. has announced that contestants will be limited to two drinks per hour and that crew members will be asked to keep a much closer eye than before on their level of sobriety.)

Concludes Corinne:

“While I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to have been a participant on The Bachelor, and while I was invited to return to Bachelor In Paradise when production resumed, I respectfully made the decision not to.”

So there you have it.

Olympios will not rejoin the Bachelor in Paradise cast for Season 4 and DeMario is also unlikely to do so.

Every other reality star who was sent home from Mexico earlier this month is expected back, however, with the premiere date of August 8 remaining intact.

This ought to close the book on what has been a crazy few weeks, even by the standards of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette.

Considering there was a videotape of Corinne and DeMario’s hook-up, we’re not sure how things spiraled out of control to this point, considering executives could simply have viewed the material as soon as an accusation was made.

But we’re glad no one was really hurt.

We’re glad no inappropriate actions took place.

And we guess we’re glad, from a selfish point of view, that Bachelor in Paradise is coming back. It will be fun to write about this summer.

Ariana Grande Closes Out Manchester Concert: Watch, Cry

Ariana Grande and a handful of her very famous friends did not let the terrorists win on Sunday night.

A week after a suicide bomber killed 22 concert attendees in Manchester, and mere hours after another terrorist murdered seven people in London, Grande returned to Great Britain for an event titled "Love Manchester."

Despite this new attack and the severe threat level in the area, Grande’s manager Scooter Braun and the Greater Manchester Police had stated that the show would go on as a message of resilience in the face of such hatred.

The concert offered free tickets to anyone who attended Grande"s show last Monday, while proceeds raised by the event went to families of the victims from that concert.

It was expected to raise around $ 2.6 million.

From Coldplay to Miley Cyrus to Katy Perry and Justin Bieber, the tribute concert was filled with one emotional performance after another.

But Grande herself closed the special event in particularly sentimental fashion.

The 23-year-old – who took to the stage multiple times throughout the three-hour show at the Emirates Old Trafford Stadium – concluded the show solo, belting out a version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."

It was an emotional time for the artist, who just days earlier had visited some of the victims of the mass murder as they recovered in the hospital.

She also spoke during the show about meeting the mother of one of the Manchester victims, 15-year old Olivia Campbell.

“As soon as I met her I started crying and I gave her a big hug and she said I should stop crying because Olivia would have wanted me to stop crying,” Grande told the crowd as she fought back tears, adding:

“And she said Olivia would have wanted to hear the hits.”

All money earned from the concert are going to the Red Cross’ Manchester Emergency Fund to assist victims of the attack and their families.

An online shop has also been set up with T-shirts, hats and more merchandise.

Considering the speed with which this event was put together, and the big names involved, it was quite the impressive achievement.

Watch Grande wrap up the unique concert below:

Kylie Jenner Bathroom Selfie Closes Out 2016 in Style

Social media maven Kylie Jenner and overall national treasure wasn’t about to sit back and let the New Year come without one final selfie.

One final bathroom selfie, to be more precise.

The 19-year-old, whose star continues to rise despite being a celebrity since birth for the most part, can thank Instagram for that in large part.

Her use of the social media platform to share iconic images of herself in various states of undress has been nothing short of groundbreaking.

You can count on one hand the number of people with more followers than Kylie’s 80-plus million. And this is your explanation of why.

Wearing green velvet bra top and underwear on Saturday, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians staple rang in the new year in style.

“Last bathroom selfie of the year,” she wrote in the post, complete with a tongue-out emoji that sums up fans’ reaction to the pic worldwide.

Gaze upon her final photo of 2016 now:

The youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner brood has taken selfies everywhere, be it in the car, in front of a mirror or in the bathroom.

The latter seems to be a personal favorite. Of hers, and ours.

Don’t expect things to be any different in 2017, either. She’s not just doing thing to make tongues wag (though that certainly does occur).

Already a smart businesswoman, Jenner’s nearly peerless social media presence has fueled her rise as a fashion and beauty mogul.

Those in-demand Kylie Lip Kits practically do sell themselves at this point, but only because our girl puts in work living her life in Insta.

And for that, we thank her.

Yes, 2016 was a year to remember (or forget) for so many reasons, but for Kylie it was a good one, as commemorated by her “best nine” pics.

A popular year-end trend on Instagram, users can show off their most-liked pictures in a tidy collage, and Jenner did just that on Saturday.

Sharing a shot apparently made by someone else, the text above her best-nine collage revealed that the social media star is … well, a star.

Kylie garnered 1,464,381,508 likes on 1,139 photos in 2016.

That’s more than 4 times the U.S. population, an average of 1,285,672 likes per photo, and the equivalent of generating 4 million likes a day.

Like we said, she’s been putting in work.

Obviously, she’s set the online popularity bar high if she hopes to collect 1,464,381,509-plus likes in 2017, but we think she’s up to the task.

Her fans are compiling collages for her at this point, so Kylie’s boobs in Tyga’s face are the gift that keeps on giving, and not just for the rapper.

Always self-aware and grateful for the appreciation of her massive following, Jenner gave a special shout-out to the curator of this collage.

“1 Billy,” she wrote alongside the collection.

“Thanks for all the love this year.”

No Kylie. Thank you.

Justin Bieber Closes American Music Awards: WATCH!

Jennifer Lopez opened the 2015 American Music Awards with a dance performance for the ages.

Seriously, you need to watch J. Lo get down and dirty to nearly every hit from the past calendar year.

So, how did the ceremony top this medley to close the show? Easy:

It brought in Justin Bieber!

A little more than a week after his latest album went up for sale (and his number-one! Take that, One Direction!), the beloved artist put on a medley of his own as the final performer of the evening.

Justin opened with “What Do You Mean" and then went into “Where Are U Now" before singing "Sorry” while being doused with water raining from above.

ABC and T-Mobile had promised before the American Music Awards that Justin Bieber would “shatter expectations," closing the show “in a way [we’ve] never seen before.”

We guess that"s technically, literally true.

We"ve never seen a rain-soaked Bieber on stage before.

Earlier in the night, Justin won Collaboration of the Year with Jack U for “Where Are U Now.”

This marked Bieber"s eighth win at the American Music Awards, after having taken home Artist of the Year in both 2010 and 2012. Impressive!

Check out his medley of hits off the album "Purpose" below and sound off: Is Biebe truly back?!?
