Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: FIRST LOOK!
Are you ready to step back in to the Harry Potter universe?
Sorry. That"s a pretty dumb question, isn"t it? Of course you are!
MTV debuted the first sneak peek at Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them during the 2016 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night, previewing the wildly anticipated spinoff that will hit theaters on November 18
It will star Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, a J.K. Rowling created young man who is embarking on a journey from his native Britain to New York City.
Once in The Big Apple, he discovers an entire secret community of witches and wizards.
In this teaser, we see Scamander arriving in 1920s New York City, toting a long-clawed creature tucked in his briefcase.
We"re then informed that Scamander had been expelled from Hogwarts for “endangering human life;” even though Albus Dumbledore, then a professor at the school, had been been a staunch supporter of Team Newt.
We"re also treated below to our very first glimpses of Percival Graves (Colin Farrell); an Auror tasked with tracking down Scamander; and Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston), a plucky young witch, among other intriguing characters.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be the first in a trilogy… and WE CANNOT WAIT!
