Malika Haqq & Ronnie Magro: It"s Over!

Last week we reported on a reunion of the stars of Jersey Shore, the MTV reality series that was briefly the most buzzed-about show on TV.

Curiously, one of the show’s core cast members wasn’t included in the Buger King-sponsored PR stunt.

In fact, we haven’t heard from Ronnie Magro at all in quite some time.

The last time the muscular half of the show’s most dysfunctional relationship made headlines is when it wad revealed that Magro was dating Malika Haqq, best friend and assistant of Khloe Kardashian. 

Now, sadly, it seems that relationship (which, come to think of it, may have also been a PR stunt) has come to an anti-climactic close.

Life & Style is reporting that Magro and Haqq have officially called it quits.

The couple met on Famously Single, the VH1 reality show on which Magro’s former castmate Pauly D found love with Aubrey O’Day.

Sadly, it seems lightning didn’t strike twice.

While Pauly and Aubrey are still together and talking marriage, Ronnie and Malika called it quits after just a few months, with Haqq explaining to People magazine that she and Magro were simply “opposites.”

“Ronnie and I are really, truly opposites. His love language is very aggressive. It’s verbally aggressive, it’s physically aggressive. It’s just the way he expresses himself” she told the magazine.

“My love language is communication. I’m a big communicator and I’m affectionate,” Haqq continued.

“We show our love language in two very different ways, so the way we were trying to communicate with each other was often misconstrued because we don’t speak the same language.”

Frankly, we have no idea what the hell any of that means (and the part about Magro being “physically aggressive” is a little disturbing), but it sounds like Ronnie and Malika simply drifted apart.

Haqq admits that things began to cool shortly after they wrapped filming on Famously Single and that the couple realized thy may not be right together not long after re-entering the real world.

“Life is not perfect. Other human beings need room for air and you also need to give yourself room for that,” she tells People.

“That was something that I was working on. I went into this situation as open-hearted as I could be.”

Fortunately, Magro has the Jersey Shore revival series to look forward to and Haqq still gets to be Khloe’s BFF for a living.

So don’t waste too much energy crying for these two.

Malika Haqq & Ronnie Magro: Dating!

Two of the great reality TV empires of all time have joined forces.

No, Donald Trump didn’t appoint one of the Duck Dynasty guys as his Secretary of Camouflage Baseball Caps (yet).

But there’s reason to believe that a former MTV star may may soon be fist-pumping with the the first family of social media.

You may remember Ronnie Ortiz-Magro as the brawniest of the brawny bros on MTV’s iconic crab-fest Jersey Shore.

And you may know Malika Haqq as Khloe Kardashian’s assistant/BFF/hanger-on.

Now it looks as though Malika and Ronnie are combining their powers to find out if two D-listers can form a C-list relationship.

Both “stars” are currently filiming the second season of E!’s Famously Single, and it seems Ronnie couldn’t resist offering up a major spoiler:

He posted the above pic on Instagram this week, along with a caption reading:

Yes, it seems rumors that Ronnie and Sammi Giancola are back together are unfounded.

Magro never confirms that he’s locking lips with Malika here, but given that the cast list has already been announced, it didn’t take fans long to identify the mystery canoodler.

“OMG it’s Malika,” wrote one user.

“Awwwwww Malika,” commented another.

Interestingly, Ronnie wouldn’t be the first Jersey Shore alum to find love on the celebrity singles’ mixer.

Pauly D and Aubrey O’Day are still dating after meeting while filming the show’s first season.

Malika was arrested for DUI and subsequently fired from DASH Dolls last year.

She hasn’t made many appearances on Keeping Up in the months since, but we’re still holding out hope for a Ronnie cameo.

We’re also crossing our fingers that this relationship is healthier than Ronnie’s last one.

Fans of Shore will remember that Ronnie and Sammi frequently got into violent screaming matches that often led to intervantions from their roommates.

Hopefully, Ronnie’s short-tempered days are behind him.

We can’t imagine Khloe would have much tolerance for a guy that publicly berates her bestie.

Malika Haqq: FIRED From DASH Dolls By Kris Jenner?!

Khloe Kardashian‘s BFF Malika Haqq is on the chopping block thanks to her DUI arrest, as Kris Jenner reportedly wants her gone from DASH Dolls.

Following a car crash that ended in Malika Haqq arrested for DUI, she apologized for her “poor behavior” and took full responsibility for her actions.

Still, that doesn’t mean she’s off the hook with the law – or her boss.

“After Malika’s DUI, Kris got so much backlash because, not only did she drive drunk, but she also crashed her car on the 101,” an insider said.

No one was injured in the accident, but Kris is still furious.

Says the source close to the Momager: “Kris was more concerned with how this would affect the Kardashian brand and her new show DASH Dolls.”

Retribution was swift, in other words, and blunt.

“Kris told Malika that she has invested a lot of time and money into her, and that she either had to [apologize] for her actions” or get the chop.

Jenner made it clear she would be “forced to cut her from the show,” the source tells Radar. “Kris forced Malika into doing the apology.”

“Of course, Malika complied.”

That wasn’t the end of Jenner’s crackdown, either. Kris also told all of the girls, including Khloe, that from now on they all are to take private drivers.”

“Every single time they are going out,” she says, “whether they want to or not. Kris said that she would even be willing to pay for the drivers.”

Obviously, that’s a great rule and we respect Jenner a lot for instituting it … but one wonders why this wasn’t obvious to all of them before!?

Don’t drink and drive, people.

Malika Haqq: Arrested For DUI!

Malika Haqq, Khloe Kardashian’s bestie and sometime co-star on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and DASH Dolls, got popped for DUI this morning.

Haqq was arrested after she crashed her car on an L.A. freeway.

Law enforcement sources confirm to TMZ that they apprehended Malika on the 101 at around 3 a.m. It’s not clear if anyone was with her.

Malika reportedly showed “objective symptoms of intoxication.”

Deputies gave her a field sobriety test and she failed; Malika was presumed to be under the influence of alcohol and arrested her for DUI.  

Malika was reportedly at a birthday party earlier in the evening.

Fans may recall that last summer on Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons, Haqq drunkenly tried to make out with and maul BFF Khloe.

Like, over-the-top so. We’re not talking your standard girls kissing on the lips for a half-second. Malika straight up wanted some. Awkward.

Also, like others in the Kardashian universe, she has become quasi-famous in her own right thanks to the new E! reality show DASH Dolls.

Yes, there’s a now a whole show about Kardashian STAFF.

If you watch DASH Dolls online, you can even see Malika nude, feuding with co-stars and getting in over her head with ridiculous antics.

Perhaps the DUI bust wasn’t all that astonishing …
