Coach"s Pep Talk to His Pitcher WILL Make You Cry

There are enough instances of bad parenting on the Internet. Or perceived bad parenting, at least.

We"d rather not pile on mothers and fathers who are clearly doing their best.

We"d much prefer to focus on parents who are winning at the most important job on earth, such as the ones featured in the photo gallery below.

And such Joel Jensen.

The head coach of an Oregon Little League Team that was participating in a consolation game on Monday as part of the Little League World Series, Jensen had to call time and head out to the mound at one point.

His squad was losing by a large margin and his son was on the mound, struggling.

So when Jensen went out for a conference, it was safe to assume that he would lay into his kid pitcher, or at least give him a few stern words about composure or control or even just the proper grip on his curveball.

But you know what happens when you assume things, right?

Instead of yelling at the young hurler, Jensen went in the opposite direction.

“I just came out to say how much I love you. As a dad and as a player. You’re doing awesome," he says in the following clip.

Jensen is wearing a microphone, so it"s easy to make out his message.

After telling his son that he"s going to take him out after the subsequent batter, Jensen concludes:

"Cheer up. Have fun. Go right after him."

The look on Jensen"s son"s face after this meeting is a little difficult to decipher, but we think we can make out a few near-tears.

And the best part of all? He goes on to strike out his final hitter!

Message received. Message taken to heart. Desired result produced. We love it!

Brielle Zolciak-Biermann: Dating Red Sox Minor League Pitcher Michael Kopech!

She’s in love!  She’s in love, and she doesn’t care who knows it!

Brielle Zolciak-Biermann is dating Red Sox minor-league pitcher Michael Kopech, and the two lovebirds have been flaunting their romance all over social media.

According to TMZ, the two have been dating since March.

Two weeks ago, Kopech, 20, posted a cute photo to his Instagram with the caption, “Pretty good week, all in all.”

Because she’s a woman, and because we as women find it very hard to not gush about a fella we fancy, Zolciak-Biermann is a bit braver with her captions.

She posted one of Kopech on the pitcher’s mound (below) with a heart emoji.

Another Instagram show the reality star wrapped in Kopech’s arms with the caption, “So this is what it’s really like…”

Before meeting Kopech, Zolciak-Biermann dated Slade Osbourne, who appeared on episodes of Bravo’s Don’t Be Tardy.

“We broke up two weeks ago,” she told E! News back in October 2015.

“Even though you will see us as a couple for the rest of the season on Don’t Be Tardy, we are no longer together.

“He’s not the man I thought he was, and as a result, my entire family and myself are disappointed.”

Kopech and Zolciak-Biermann’s relationship is long distance at the moment.  When he’s not playing in Salem, Virginia, the pitcher is visiting his lady love in Atlanta.

Zolciak-Biermann catches some of his games, and Snapchatted on interaction between Kopech and fans.

“when ur bf is more famous than u lmao,” she wrote while filming Kopech sign autographs.

TMZ has the vitals on Kopech: He’s 6’3″ and weighs 205 pounds.  The family reportedly loves that he’s a “gentleman.”

Kopech’s Instagram is full of inspiring captions, including his struggle in the limelight:

“I’m baaackk.

“Since the last time I’ve pitched in a game I’ve seen hate mail directed at my family, I’ve been on the receiving end of many threats & I’ve lost more than half of my supporters. I’ve been told I’ll never amount to anything. Well… we’ll see!”

We love a man with goals.
