Sunday on Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 11 Episode 6, the First Family of Reality TV embarked on a relaxing trip to St. Barts.
Minus the relaxation, thanks to Scott Disick and other factors. Oh yes, the drama (and Tyga) followed them to paradise. Let’s recap …
I won’t lie. I found this episode to be a little dull.
Perhaps the “girls trip” should have been a vacation away from the cameras because the well is running dry on storylines to cover. Such a strange thing for me to say in spite of the year this family has had.
The trip took place in late August, after Kourtney and Scott ended their relationship. Lamar’s overdose at a Nevada brothel wouldn’t happen for almost another two months.
Kim’s with child and super-bitchy. Kourtney doesn’t feel like talking too much about Scott, but is throwing producers a bone by checking out Scott’s Instagrams in Mexico.
The one storyline that was forced on us was Kylie and Kendall’s.
I have two sisters, and there have been points in our lives where we did not get along. This is normal. They’ll get over it.
I agree with the rest of the Kardashians; Tyga shouldn’t be on the trip. I’m sure he’s lovely, but it was a girls-only trip meant for family bonding.
While Kris was busy wondering if her daughters would stay mad at her forever, Khloe was concerned that her barely-legal sister and Tyga were”doing the damn thing” in a cabin on their boat.
Kris didn’t seem to mind. Her older daughters made life miz when they were 18, too.
Throughout the entire episode, each girl casually told the other to “disconnect” from life and put down their smart phone.
I should mention that they said this as they themselves were tapping away on the phone.
At the beginning of the episode, Khloe and Kim despised Kris for getting involved in Khloe’s relationship with Lamar. Kris wavered on whether or not she should commit to the trip, and ultimately ended up going.
Big mistake, because everyone was super-rude to her at first.
If we treated my mother like that, there would be hell to pay. However, Kris took it lying down, which disappointed me.
Family vacations, amiright?
