Kanye West Thinks Keeping of the Kardashians Should Win an Emmy

Kanye West has said some pretty dumb stuff over the years. And we love him for it.

But even Kanye West may have gone too far this time around.

In an interview with “SHOWstudio” as part of its “In Camera” live interview series, West gushes over wife Kim Kardashian and the reality program that helped make her a household name.

“I feel proud to be in a family that has so many people breaking ground for the generations to come,” Kanye said, adding that reality TV is a type of “art form,” and that “my wife and my family should’ve had plenty of Emmys by now.”

So, why hasn’t she?

Because “reality shows are considered to be like rap was when the Mondrian [hotel in L.A.] wouldn’t let Run DMC and mother[expletive]ing Will Smith stay there because they were rappers,” Kanye explained.

In other words: Reality TV doesn’t get any respect, the same way rappers were once not considered true artists.

West goes on to say that he doesn’t understand “the idea of a reality star not being allowed into a fashion show or not being nominated for their show, even if it’s the longest running and the most popular and… everybody I know watches it.”

It is true that plenty of folks out there watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online or on their television screens.

But it’s also true that the Emmys are meant to recognize talent, not popularity. And… need we really say anymore?

Rihanna: Rachel Dolezal is a Hero!

Earlier today, we shared some highlights from Rihanna’s new Vanity Fair interview.

As always, the 27-year-old Barbadian songstress had plenty of surprising things to say.

For starters, she hates casual sex (not something we would’ve guessed from RiRi’s Instagram page), and she’s completely forgiven Chris Brown.

But the most quote from her remarkably candid profile involved Rihanna’s thoughts on Rachel Dolezal.

You may remember Dolezal as the NAACP leader who pretended to be black and got busted on live TV back in June.

“I think she was a bit of a hero, because she kind of flipped on society a little bit,” Rih sayd when asked about Dolezal.

“Is it such a horrible thing that she pretended to be black? Black is a great thing, and I think she legit changed people’s perspective a bit and woke people up.”

Maybe she’s right, and Dolezal helped to spark a national conversation about race. Of course, she’s been all but completely forgotten about just a few months after her ordeal, so whatever impact she had seems to have been short-lived.

In any event, Dolezal misled hundreds, if not thousands of people and took opportunities away from much more deserving individuals, so the word “hero” might be a bit strong.

Anyway, RiRi wouldn’t be RiRi if she wasn’t stirring up controversy. We can’t wait to hear her thoughts on Donald Trump.

Kate Middleton to Prince Harry: You WILL Marry Chelsy Davy!

Prince Harry’s Bachelor days are over … according to Kate Middleton, who’s screened all of his potential wives and deemed this one the best:

Prince William’s little brother is reportedly dating his ex Chelsy Davy, with whom he reconnected while he was doing charity work in Africa.

Inside sources say that William’s wife and Harry’s sister-in-law, Kate, has been serving as his relationship guru – and supports this fully.

And by relationship guru, we mean investigator in chief.

The Duchess of Cambridge “vetted both Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas, until she was convinced that Chelsy was royal bride material.”

With Harry harboring feelings for both, “Kate has been secretly vetting the pair for months, to decide who will make his perfect wife.”

Her findings? “Chelsy’s the one. He can’t live without her.”

Well that’s nice. As is having a full-throated endorsement from Kate, who has stood fall in the face of intense public and private scrutiny.

From those Kate Middleton bikini photos of yesteryear to rumors just this week about Carole Middleton drunk at a rugby match, it’s nonstop.

Not any commoner has the fortitude or the willingness to be put through the wringer, but a source says Kate feels Chelsy has what it takes.

“Kate questioned whether either woman was up to [it].”

It being “the rigors of royal life … and although Chelsea has confessed some fears about royal life, Kate managed to calm them all.”

Now that Harry and Chelsy Davy have Kate Middleton’s seal of approval, should we expect an engagement announcement anytime?

“Get ready for an engagement announcement soon, and then another royal wedding at Westminister Abbey next Spring,” says a source.

Yeah, right. We’ll believe that when we see it.

Still, by all accounts, Harry and Davy are a thing again, and we would not be surprised if (eventually) she can tame the wild Prince.

Sorry, Cressie.
