Kim Kardashian on Lamar Odom Recovery: God is Good!

Lamar Odom is not completely out of the woods just yet.

But the former basketball star has regained consciousness after a scary incident in Nevada last night Tuesday and multiple outlets have confirmed Odom has spoken a few words.

That’s not all, according to Kim Kardashian.

The reality star – who flew to Las Vegas to be there for her sister and former brother-in-law as soon as she learned of Odom’s condition – shared the cute photo above on Instagram yesterday.

She also provided followers with an encouraging update.

“I have faith in you. I believe in the power of prayer and positive energy!” Kim wrote.

“Thank you all for your prayers! Lammy- I’m so happy Kendall & I could make you smile today! God is good!”

Kardashian left Odom’s bedside for a couple days, but then returned to the hospital on Friday along with Kendall Jenner.

Kris Jenner, meanwhile, has also been spending as much time with Lamar as possible – and she wrote an Instagram message of her own on Saturday evening.

“Come on Lamar!!!! You are such a champion… I know you got this…. #ourfighter #pleasepray #love #thatsmileiseverything,” the matriarch wrote.

Odom spent all of last weekend partying at a brothel in Nevada owned by Dennis Hof.

He fell unconscious at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, with his body discovered by an employee at the establishment and with a manager calling 911.

After rolling Odom to his side, the manager says an unknown substance poured from his nose and mouth.

Tests have confirmed that Lamar used cocaine and a dangerous sexual stimulant known as “Reload” during his time at the brothel.

He remained in a coma for the first couple days, but started to show positive signs of life late Friday.

Lamar Odom: Awake, Talking, Showing MAJOR Signs of Improvement!

Good news about Lamar Odom’s remarkable recovery continues to pour in, as TMZ reports today that Odom is awake and communicating with doctors and family members. 

One hospital source even claims that Odom is “speaking sentences” and text messaging with friends.

On Tuesday, Odom was found unconscious in his suite at the Love Ranch brothel in Pahrump, Nevada.

He was taken to a Las Vegas hospital where doctors determined that Odom had overdosed on a cocktail of drugs. Initial reports indicated that the 35-year-old former NBA star was unlikely to ever regain consciousness.

Miraculously, Odom began to show significant signs of improvement on Friday afternoon.

Odom reportedly opened his eyes when doctors removed his breathing tube, and he was taken off life support shortly thereafter.

Insiders say Lamar is far from out of the woods, but he’s currently doing considerably better than expected.

Though he remains hooked up to a dialysis machine and has almost certainly suffered at least mild brain damage, Odom is now expected to pull through.

Less than 48 hours ago, those closest to the former reality star were said to be bracing themselves for news of his death.

Jessa Duggar Slammed For Drinking Coffee, Getting Pedicure While Pregnant

Another day, another Duggar family scandal.

This one involves mom-to-be Jessa Duggar who’s set to welcome her first child on November 1. 

The controversy stems from the above photo that Jessa posted to Instagram along with the following caption:

“My sweet mother-in-law treated me to a pumpkin spice drink from #MamaCarmens, and Sierra insisted that I get something cheery painted on my toes in prep for labor! Y’all are spoiling me!”

Concern-troll fans were quick to pounce, pointing out that there’s a chance Jessa’s chosen methods of getting pampered could prove harmful to her baby.

“I heard its not good to wear fingernail polish while being pregnant,” commented one fan.

Another took her caution to another level, writing, “Omg! When you paint your nails! You breathe in FUMES!! Those fumes are not good! An some products have them and not all salons check!”

Several commenters also lambasted Jessa for drinking coffee, though it’s worth noting that she gave no indication that her “pumpkin spice drink” had caffeine in it.

This isn’t the first pregnancy-related controversy that Jessa has endured in recent weeks.

Last month, she and husband Ben Seewald were criticized for asking fans for gifts and donations in advance of the arrival of their baby.

The requests have since been removed from several websites.

Jessa has yet to respond to accusations that she’s being unsafe in the final days of her pregnancy.

Jill Duggar & Derick Dillard Refund Missionary Donations to Angry Fans

Back in June, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard announced that they would be leaving the US to perform missionary work in El Salvador.

The couple collected donations from fans and gave the impression they would be living in Central America for the foreseeable future.

Just a few weeks after they embarked, however, Jill and Derick were back in Arkansas, seemingly for good.

It was later revealed that the Dillards were rejected as missionaries due to their lack of qualifications.

It seems the main problem was that the couple never even attempted to complete the Bible study and other religious-themed education courses that were required of them.

Naturally, fans who had made donations were upset to learn that they had essentially helped to fund a three-week vacation for Jill and Derick.

Many to took to social media to complain of being swindled by the Dillards.

Now, Radar Online is reporting that in an effort to avoid another scandal, Jill and Derick have offered refunds to the fans who donated to their bogus missionary journey.

Sources say the fans have been contacted privately by reps for the Duggars. They were reportedly then given the option of having the money returned to them or passed on as a charitable donation.

We’re hoping most were smart enough to ask for a check. Knowing these two, the “charity” that would receive their donation might very well be the New Pool Table For the Dillards’ Basement Fund.
