They say when you date someone, you date their whole family.
Truer words could never be spoken in the case of Tyga and Kylie Jenner, who recently ended their two-year relationship.
There are several stories speculating the cause of their split, but celebrity biographer Ian Halperin believes he knows the real reason.
It turns out that Kris Jenner felt she had to make a choice between Kylie’s boyfriend, and her son’s fiance/baby mama.
‘Kris is one of the sharpest people one could ever meet. She’s nobody’s fool. And she knew there was not room for both Tyga and Chyna in the Kardashian fold,” a source told Halperin.
“She chose Chyna.”
Since Chyna and Tyga have a child together, Kris knew things would get too complicated. Plus, she and the rest of the family had a feeling that Tyga was living off the 18-year-old.
“The family hated the fact that Tyga had financial problems. There were constant rumors of bankruptcy and Tyga was evicted from several homes for not paying the rent,” the source said.
‘It was the perfect time for them to get rid of him and to focus on Chyna and Rob. The icing on the cake was when Chyna announced she was pregnant.
“Days later Tyga was out like a bad dog.”
That’s way harsh.
The Kardashians are reportedly trying to handle the split as delicately as possible, for fear that Tyga will reveal all of their secrets.
“Tyga seems to be going his own way. He’s holding the cards,” another source close to the rapper told Halperin.
“Until Kris is able to sign him to remain in their stable the Kardashians will have sleepless nights worrying that Tyga will dish all their secrets to the media.”
Still, Tyga’s friends insist that it was his decision to end the relationship.
“The pressure of being in the Kardashian fold was too overbearing. He loved Kylie but he didn’t enjoy living in her shadow.”
And so, another man gets burned by the good ship Kardashian.
Tyga was seen at Beyonce’s concert in Pasadena, CA with Love & Hip Hop Atlanta‘s Karlie Redd over the weekend.
