18 Celebrity Break-Ups We Did NOT See Coming

We find it very difficult to talk about the following celebrity break-ups.

We"re still in shock that they happened. We"re still wishing the stars at the center of them give it another go with one another. But we"re not hopeful.

Here is a rundown of the splits that took us most aback when they went down…

1. Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev

Did you ever see these two back when they were dating and promoting The Vampire Diaries together? It was like they were the only people in the room. We still can’t believe Ian married someone else.

2. Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama

They were together for six years! They packed on the PDA on social media! They talked marriage mere weeks before their demise. We remain stunned.

3. Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris

They made it work for 15 months. That’s a very long time for Swift. We really thought she had found The One.

4. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart

The most shocking cheating scandal in Hollywood history? Maybe, right? Stewart put the stunning nail in the coffin of this relationship when she made out with director Rupert Sanders.

5. Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt

They never married. But they were together for 18 years and they barely made any gossip pages during that time.

6. Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush

It’s easy to forget now, what with the whole Kanye thing, but Kim and Reggie seemed totally in love back in the day. He seemed like the perfect man for the sex tape star.

Liam Hemsworth Addresses Miley Cyrus Split: Why Did It Happen?

For all of her talk about drugs and music and gay right and more drugs, Miley Cyrus has remained unusually quiet when it comes to one topic in particular:

Her relationship with Liam Hemsworth.

The singer has said very little over the years about the person who appears to be her one true love.

So it’s a good thing Hemsworth is now here to fill in some blanks.

The gorgeous actor covers the latest issue of GQ Australia, telling the magazine that he and Miley are engaged.

That’s sort of what he tells the magazine at least.

“People will figure it out, they already have,” Hemsworth says in the feature article. “They’re not dumb.”

But what happened in the fall of 2013? Why did Liam and Miley break up after the former proposed to the latter with a 3.5 carat ring?

Hemsworth doesn’t get into very much detail here, but does acknowledge that the two-year split was “hard” on him.

“Of course it was hard, man,” he explains.

“But at the time we were going in different directions and it’s just what needed to happen.

“We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time – we both needed that.”

Hemsworth, of course, was busy filming his role as Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games movie franchise; while Cyrus was recording new music.

The former will also play a key role in Independence Day: Resurgence this summer.

“I don’t read or listen to the press,” Liam says in regard to the gossip that surrounds himself and his rumored fiancee.

“And these days I don’t base my decisions on it at all. I base all my decisions on what’s happening in front of me and I’m much happier by doing that.”

That sounds way too reasonable for a celebrity to say.

Liam Hemsworth may have a great body and face. But the guy makes for terrible copy!

Kailyn Lowry: Moving On From Javi Marroquin With a Woman?

We did NOT see this coming.

After announcing her divorce from Javi Marroquin, Kailyn Lowry was spotted at a Gay Pride event in New Jersey over the weekend.

According to Radar Online, Lowry posted a video of herself kissing friend Becky Hayter, but it was taken down shortly after.

Lowry posted a more family-friendly photo of herself and Hayter,

“Girlfriend status 😌,” Lowry captioned the pic.

Radar alleges that the two women flirted during the event, and Hayter had her hands on Lowry every time they were photographed together.

This isn’t the first time Lowry has been linked to a woman. 

“Kail was with a girl named Shelby for about two years,” a source told Star Magazine in 2012 of the Teen Mom 2‘s past relationship, which took place during middle school.

“Jo [Rivera] knew about Kail‘s relationship with that girl. He thought it was a phase.”

The source alleges that Lowry cheated on Rivera with another friend, Gigi Hanna.

“Kail cheated on Jo with Gigi, but he knew and didn’t care,” the source said.

Lowry finally admitted to the Daily Mail that her four-year marriage to Marroquin was over in late May.

Lowry suffered a miscarriage on an episode of Teen Mom 2, and the emotional aftermath was heartbreaking to watch.

Marroquin, who is expected to return home after a deployment with the Air Force, was furious when Lowry told him she didn’t want anymore kids.

“We texted and we talked about our future,” Marroquin told Lowry via Facetime.

“There is no future. That’s a big reason why we’re not going to work. Your excuse is bulls**t.”

Whether or not Lowry is dating a woman really doesn’t matter.  If she’s happy and healthy and looking towards the future with her two sons, then more power to her.

She and Marrquin are no longer together, so she’s free to do what she likes when it comes to her relationships.

O.J. Simpson Might Confess to Those Murders

Here’s a scary thought:

O.J. Simpson may be a free man in 2017.

Indeed, The Juice may be on the loose just a few months from now after he comes up for parole next year following his conviction for armed robbery in 2008.

But will the former professional running back’s lips also be loose?

That’s a question now raised by Ron Shipp.

A friend of Simpson’s (who testified at the Trial of the Century in 1995 that Simpson had told him he had had dreams of killing Nicole Brown Simpson), Shipp tells The New York Daily News that O.J. is in terrible shape at the moment.

“The guy is in total torment today,” Shipp says, adding:

“Someone told me he is 300 pounds and he looks horrible. O.J. has always felt his appearance meant everything and now, deep down inside, he is starting to live with himself.”

It’s unclear whether or not Shipp has actually spoken to Simpson since the alleged killer became incarcerated in Nevada.

But he claims Simpson has hinted that he might one day confess to the murders of Nicole and Ron Goldman in 1994.

“I do,” Shipp said when asked whether he believes this is a possibility.

What makes him say so?

“I got a call about a conspiracy theory about Jason [Simpson’s son from his first marriage] being the killer and I thought, man, come on Juice, just say, ‘my son didn’t do it.’”

It’s true.

Jason Simpson, 24 at the time of the killings, is at the center of a documentary titled “Hard Evidence: O.J. Is Innocent.”

It will air in early 2017 on Investigation Discovery and it points to Simpson’s son as the culprit.

Simpson has been back in the news of late due to FX’s mesmerizing miniseries “People vs. O.J. Simpson.”

ESPN and ABC will also kick off a six-part documentary on June 11 titled “O.J. Simpson: Made in America.” It is receiving rave reviews.

So we now must ask: Did O.J. Simpson kill his wife?
