Derick Dillard: Did He CONFESS to Cheating on Jill Duggar?!
After years of virtually non-stop scandal, you would think all members of the Duggar family would be experts at hiding their dirty laundry.
But while the children of Jim Bob and Michelle might, from a young age, receive media training alongside their Bible instruction, the men and women who marry into the Counting On clan may not be as well-versed in the pitfalls of public life.
Take Derick Dillard, for example.
Jill Duggar’s husband has been a thorn in the side of his in-laws for the past several months, having apparently developed a taste for the spotlight following a series of ugly controversies.
First, Derick launched an attack against Jazz Jennings on social media.
Jennings is a transgender teen, who, like Derick, is the star of a TLC reality show.
Derick took a lot of flak for bullying a 16-year-old girl on Twitter and Instagram, but he also received a smattering of praise from fans who share his ultra-conservative views.
And it seems that was all the encouragement he needed.
These days, Derick seems to have been emboldened, baiting his more left-leaning followers with claims that America is the least racist country in the world, and Bible verses that he claims support his views on the subservience of women.
Recently, Derick voiced his support for Donald Trump, thus becoming one of the first members of the extended Duggar clan to publicly back a candidate who’s views and behaviors often don’t align with the family’s Christian values.
The upside of all the attention is that Derick is doing his part to help his in-laws remain relevant.
The downside is that like the Donald, Derick now finds himself in the position of defending himself against allegations of sexual misconduct.
But instead of issuing a series of sternly-worded denials like Trump, Derick seems to be conceding that he behaved inappropriately behind his wife’s back.
Derick has been tweeting*** non-stop Bible quotes about adultery, masturbation, and prostitutes, and many believe it’s his way of confessing that he was unfaithful to Jill.
“He who loves wisdom makes his father glad, but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth.” (Proverbs 29:3)” Derick tweeted this week.
Perhaps on its own, the passage wouldn’t have raised many eyebrows.
But it comes on the heels of a number of verses about the evils of adultery, as well as a link to an article instructing readers on how to abstain from masturbation.
But while Derick appears to be unburdening himself through confession on Twitter, his wife is on Instagram, assuring fans that all is well:
Jill posted the above photo this week, along with a caption reading:
“I [heart] you @derickdillard Ladies, find someone who loves Jesus and takes care of you like this guy does me.
“He made dinner and had the room candlelit for our date tonight. After a stressful last hour leading up to kiddos bedtime (which got extended due to cranky babies not wanting to sleep! Ha!), @derickdillard you made me feel so cherished.”
Sounds like Jill and Der have very different ideas about where their relationship is headed.

Joy-Anna Duggar & Austin Forsyth Confess to Breaking Courtship Rules
From the time they started dating, rumors about Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth breaking courtship rules began circulating online non-stop.
Some of the claims were ridiculous (a false report that Joy-Anna was pregnant before marriage briefly made the rounds on social media), but it turns out, at least one them was legit.
In a preview for Monday night’s Counting On after-show, Joy-Anna and Austin reveal that they did, in fact, violate her family’s rules for pre-marital dating.
But it wasn’t the sort of behavior that results in a shotgun wedding.
In an interview with Daphne Oz, Austin confirms that he and Joy-Anna … front-hugged.
Yes, the Duggars allow only side-hugs before marriage, because it’s well known that Jesus wanted young people to spend their lives in a constant state of sexual frustration.
Austin opened up about his dance with the devil, saying:
“We’re humans and sometimes we don’t always abide perfectly by our rules. We try. That was a real hard try.”
A real hard try.
The real sin here is that no one jumped in and shouted, “Phrasing!”
The young couple also opened up about the moment that Austin proposed to Joy-Anna, a moment that, of course, was captured by a TLC camera crew.
Testing the gullibility of even the most naive Duggar fans, Joy-Anna claims she was so caught up in the moment she didn’t even realize she was being filmed.
“I didn’t even notice that they were there,” she explains.
“I thought it was just us there, and that was really special.”
Austin chimed in with:
“Those cameramen looked like trees.”
Quite the wit, that guy.
Look, we all suspend our disbelief when we watch reality television.
We pretend people actually start conversations with “So what’s going on with [absent cast member]?” and that guys who work in pawn shops routinely engage in wacky bets like they’re on a particularly lame ’90s sitcom.
But we don’t believe for a second that Austin’s proposal was spontaneous, and a camera crew just happened to be following him and Joy-Anna through the woods that day.
You could practically see those two reading their lines off cue cards.

O.J. Simpson Might Confess to Those Murders
Here’s a scary thought:
O.J. Simpson may be a free man in 2017.
Indeed, The Juice may be on the loose just a few months from now after he comes up for parole next year following his conviction for armed robbery in 2008.
But will the former professional running back’s lips also be loose?
That’s a question now raised by Ron Shipp.
A friend of Simpson’s (who testified at the Trial of the Century in 1995 that Simpson had told him he had had dreams of killing Nicole Brown Simpson), Shipp tells The New York Daily News that O.J. is in terrible shape at the moment.
“The guy is in total torment today,” Shipp says, adding:
“Someone told me he is 300 pounds and he looks horrible. O.J. has always felt his appearance meant everything and now, deep down inside, he is starting to live with himself.”
It’s unclear whether or not Shipp has actually spoken to Simpson since the alleged killer became incarcerated in Nevada.
But he claims Simpson has hinted that he might one day confess to the murders of Nicole and Ron Goldman in 1994.
“I do,” Shipp said when asked whether he believes this is a possibility.
What makes him say so?
“I got a call about a conspiracy theory about Jason [Simpson’s son from his first marriage] being the killer and I thought, man, come on Juice, just say, ‘my son didn’t do it.’”
It’s true.
Jason Simpson, 24 at the time of the killings, is at the center of a documentary titled “Hard Evidence: O.J. Is Innocent.”
It will air in early 2017 on Investigation Discovery and it points to Simpson’s son as the culprit.
Simpson has been back in the news of late due to FX’s mesmerizing miniseries “People vs. O.J. Simpson.”
ESPN and ABC will also kick off a six-part documentary on June 11 titled “O.J. Simpson: Made in America.” It is receiving rave reviews.
So we now must ask: Did O.J. Simpson kill his wife?
