Amber Marchese Confirms Lyme Disease Diagnosis

Amber Marchese has been diagnosed with Lyme Disease.

The former The Real Housewives of New Jersey star opened up about this illness and what it means for her in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

A doctor informed Marchese of the news last week.

“About two weeks ago, I had flu-like symptoms which included a low grade fever, headache, aches, chills, join pain and awful neck pain,” Marchese told ET, adding by way of explanation:

“I posted my condition on social media and a friend suggested I get tested for Lyme disease.

“She shared with me her struggles with Lyme disease and we shared many of the same symptoms.”

Marchese is a 38-year old mother of two.

She is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

In the Entertainment Tonight interview, the reality star said she requested the Lyme Disease test while at her oncologist’s office, during a round of chemotherapy… and the tests came back positive.

“I am very fortunate as I caught it so early that no treatment is necessary,” she added. “But we are going to monitor it.”

Marchese is the latest member of the Bravo family to have come down with this health issue.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid has been battling the disease for years, recently admitting that two of her children – Bella and Anwar Hadid – are also coping with the ailment.

3. Plot Holes Galore!

When A was revealed to be CeCe, we were told that Toby’s mother was killed by Bethenny when Charlotte was 12 years old, but a flashback on a Season 4 episode proved this was totally wrong.

4. The Ladies Are Ready To Move On!

The show is Freeform’s number one show… even with a downturn in the ratings. The gals just seem bored of the show and haven’t signed on for another season. They’re ready to move on to burgeoning movie careers. Let them!

5. The Masks!

This mask is just a little too real and it’s probably not even possible to replicate in real life.

6. There’s Twins!

The show sure loves twins, but the introduction of Mary Drake was just so farfetched. Like, how many twins are there in Rosewood?!

Jake Gyllenhaal & Rooney Mara: Dating?!

Over the course of his career, Jake Gyllenhaal has been the subject of more dating rumors than Taylor Swift.

Most recently, it was rumored that Gyllenhaal was dating Dakota Johnson of 50 Shades of Grey fame.

Just prior to that, there were reports of Gyllenhaal hooking up with Susan Sarandon.

Like we said, Jake might be the only man in Hollywood who’s been one half of more celebrity couples (real and imagined) than Ms. Swift … whom he also dated.

So take the latest rumors about Gyllenhaal’s love life with more grains of salt than a bag of pretzels:

According to Hollywood Life and several other media outlets, Gyllenhaal has been spotted out and about in NYC with actress Rooney Mara.

You might remember Mara from her role in the The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, or her acclaimed turn in last year’s Carol.

Though not exactly a household name, Mara has en extremely bright future ahead of her.

Oh, plus her family owns both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Giants.

So you know – even if this whole acting thing doesn’t work out, she’ll probably be okay.

Again, Jake’s been connected to more famous women than the Lifetime network, so we’ll believe these two are really an item only after we hear some sort of official confirmation.

Still, there’s no denying these two would make a lovely couple.

Unless it turns out that Jake is a big Philadelphia Eagles fan, than all bets are off.

Girl Learns Lesson About Water Pressure... The Hard Way

Do not blame us for the following video.

We were not on the premises when it was filmed.

Would we have stepped in if we were?

Would we have prevented this young girl from making a potentially grave mistake? We"d like to think so.

But consider: the girl"s very own mother is the one filming… and she does nothing at all!

"That"s not gonna be a good idea…I should stop you," we hear from the woman, through fits of laughter, as the child puts the nozzle of a hose to her mouth.

You can see where this is going, can"t you?

But we can"t turn away! We just can"t!
