Lindsay Lohan: Releasing A New Album?

Lindsay Lohan might be making a return to the music industry. 

Lindsay said as much when she took part in a live video chat with her Mean Girls co-star, Rajiv Surendra. 

She revealed that she still HAS to release another album for Universal Motown. 

“And I will,” she added

There is no definite release date for the album as of yet, but it appears that it all depends on what her sister, Ali Lohan’s career.

“My sister is signed with EMI and she is recording a record, and out of respect for her and her true career choice, which is all she wants to do is make music,” she said, referring to her younger sister Ali.

“Her voice is like Etta James meets Adele. I want to respect her in that lane.”

There are a LOT of celebrity families that have more than one person with the same profession, so it’s a very odd thing to say. 

It’s sweet and all, but it doesn’t seem like we’re getting the full story here. 

There’s no denying that Lohan has had her ups and downs, but she seems to have turned a corner in recent years. 

Her acting career never quite recovered from her hiatus due to what was going on with her. 

A move back to the music industry would be a good step, but there’s a good chance that her hiatus from singing would probably make it difficult for her to achieve much in the way of chart success. 

It’s not like the star is doing much else at the moment. 

There was word recently that she could be marrying Egor Tarabasov without a prenup in place.

Obviously it’s a crazy decision, but it’s not like Tarabasov isn’t worth a decent chunk of money. 

The fact of the matter is that Lindsay shouldn’t be passing up opportunities that could better her financial situation. 

Releasing another album might not make her much, but it would be something. 

Her fans are not going to be rooting for a new album forever. Her last single was released in 2008!

Shawn Mendes Comes Out as Straight

Shawn Mendes has an important announcement to make:

He is straight.

Yes, straight.

The 17-year old singer felt a need to record a video of himself setting the record… well… straight when it comes to his sexuality.

For what reason? We"ll let Mendes explain.

“So I don’t usually do this and bring up problems, but I was on YouTube just watching some of my interviews, and I was going down the comments and noticed a lot of people were saying that I gave them a ‘gay vibe," he says in the following footage peering directly into the camera and addig:

"First of all, I’m not gay.”

Okay then, Shawn.

He continued:

“Second of all, it shouldn’t make a difference if I was or if I wasn’t.

"The focus should be on the music and not my sexuality. Now I know 99 percent of you guys aren’t making assumptions like this, but this is just for the one percent of you that are.”

He wasn"t finished.

"I just want you guys before you judge someone on the way they speak or act, I want you guys to think, ‘Hey, maybe I shouldn’t be judging someone’ or ‘Wait, it actually doesn’t even matter; they can do or be or feel however they want to feel.""

Hmmm… wait a minute.

If it doesn"t matter whether one is gay or straight, how can you say others are "judging" you for giving off a gay vibe?

There"s no around this coming across as homophobic on the singer"s part, even if he did not mean for it to be so.

“Now I’m not frustrated because people were saying that I was gay at all," he added.

"I have no problem with that, because it wouldn’t make a difference to me.

"I’m frustrated because in this day and age people have the audacity to write online that I’m gay as if it were a bad thing.”

Again, Mendes is the one who made a point to record a video simply because, by his own admission, only one percent of people on his timeline made this allegation.

So who is really the one taking it as a bad thing?

"That’s all I really have to say about that. I just wish those one percent of people would grow up. I love you guys," he concluded.

Christina Grimmie: Killer Believed She Was His "Soul Mate"

The case involving Kevin James Loilbl and his victim is closed.

On June 10th, Loibl approached 22-year-old Christina Grimmie while she was signing autographs after her Orlando concert.

Armed with two handguns, ammunition and a hunting knife, Loibl shot Grimmie before being tackled to the ground by her older brother, Marcus.

Loibl then turned the gun on himself.

According to police reports obtained by CNN, family members said that Loibl had “no history of mental illness,” but did live “like a hermit.”

Because he had “an aversion to light,” the St. Petersburg, FL resident would cover his bedroom windows with tin foil and heavy curtain.

Nor did the 27-year-old have a criminal record.  However, police were called to Loibl’s father’s home twice in 2013 and 2014 because of a domestic dispute between him and his father’s girlfriend.  

No charges were ever pressed.

One gentleman, Cory Dennington, described himself to police as possibly Loibl’s “only friend in the world.”  The two had known each other for 15 years.

Dennington’s statements were crucial to the case, since he gave police background on Loibl’s behavior and his actions leading up to the murder.

Dennington noticed that his friend had “become fixated” on The Voice contestant over the last year or so.

Loibl told Dennighton that “he watched everything having to do with her,” spending “most of his waking hours watching Christina on YouTube as well as constantly monitoring her social media accounts.”

What’s strange is that Loibl himself did not have an account on any platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc).  

Though an athiest, Loibl had allegedly told Dennington that Grimmie’s faith changed the way he saw religion and “helped him to see the world in a different way.”

Loibl had reportedly told Dennington that if there was indeed a God, “he has seen it in her.”

When Loibl wasn’t working at a local Best Buy, the was on the computer in his room, family members told police.

At work, Loibl would be in the back, so that he wasn’t interacting with customers.  Loibl’s supervisor, Luke Dahl, described him as “socially awkward” and “detached.”

Prior to the murder, Loibl underwent an extreme makeouver.  He lost fifty pounds, had Lasik Surgery, got hair implants and whitened his teeth – all for Grimmie, Dennington recalled.

Dennington grew concerned about his friend’s obsession with Grimmie, and tried to talk rationally to him.

Loibl was furious, and refused to believe that his plan to meet and fall in love with Grimmie would never work.  

In fact, he referred to the singer as his “soul mate.”

In the days before the murder, Loibl returned a few magazines to Dennington at work.

“I love you brother,” he told Dennigton, adding that he “was tired and ready to ascend.”

Kylie Jenner Makes Out With PartyNextDoor in New Music Video!

Well, we guess it’s official.

For weeks now, we’ve been hearing rumors that Kylie is dating PartyNextDoor, a 22-year-old Canadian singer/rapper/human invitation who’s signed to Drake’s OVO Sound record label.

Neither party has confirmed the relationship, but now they may not have to.

You see, Kylie has a history of making it official with music video cameos.

She appeared in Tyga’s “Stimulated” video back when there was still some doubt as to whether or not those two were actually friends with statutory benefits:

She later took a speaking role in the clip for the rapper’s single “Dope’d Up,” but the less said about Kylie’s acting skills, the better.

Anyway, Kylie and Tyga are officially a thing of the past, but she’s keeping the tradition of confirming her romances on Vevo alive and well.

PartyNextDoor: “Come and See Me” Music Video

Yes, it’s basically an informercial for PND and Kylie’s relationship.

Whoever directed this thing was so certain that everyone’s eyes would be on the interaction between Kylie and Party that he basically half-assed his way through the rest of the shoot.

Kylie brews like a quarter inch of tea for some reason; the exact same shot of some big, bearded Wildling-looking dude playing pool is used twice; and most of the video consists of people hanging out in what appears to be some sort of chill ski lodge.

There’s even product placement for Kylie’s lip kit, because the folks who made this thing knew your conscious mind would be checking out for most of the 3:45 runtime.

Then, at the 3:10 mark – BAM! – Kylie and PND make out in the rain like they’re starring in some sort of low-budget sequel to The Notebook.

Maybe it’s not the Kylie Jenner sex tape you were hoping for, but it’s pretty interesting stuff.

Unless you’re Tyga.
