Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis: Married!
The unthinkable has happened.
Okay, maybe it’s not that big a stretch, but with George Clooney married and now Derek Jeter, perennial bachelors are dropping like flies.
In any case, the future baseball Hall of Fame member married model Hannah Davis in St. Helena, California, on Saturday, July 9.
The attractive couple tied the knot in a romantic ceremony on a golf course at Meadowood Napa Valley Resort, according to reports.
Sports Illustrated beauty Davis, 26, looked stunning in a high-neck gown custom-made by Vera Wang; Jeter, 42, rocked a black suit.
“After the ceremony, they walked around holding hands and looking ecstatic,” a source tells Us of the New York Yankee legend’s wedding.
This is the first marriage for both.
Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis got engaged in October 2015, news they kept private other than him using the word “fiancée” on his website.
The couple first started dating in 2012, shortly after Jeter’s three-year relationship with Friday Night Lights actress Minka Kelly ended.
He has previously been linked to Vanessa Lachey, Jordana Brewster, Mariah Carey, and numerous other stars he made sign NDAs.
We don’t know that for sure, but for a celebrity with about 47 high-profile girlfriends, it’s curious no one has ever said a word about him.
It could also be that Jeter is a class act on and off the field, and that there’s simply nothing negative or salacious to say about the man.
Davis’ camp certainly agrees.
“Their relationship works because they are both supportive and sweet to each other,” a source close to the supermodel says.
“They almost never fight.”
Another source added, “Derek is totally in love with her. He thinks she’s beautiful, sweet and sexy! All of Derek’s friends are jealous.”
That Hannah’s super hot?
Well, yeah, but more so that they’re so smitten with one another, always so happy and have the perfect relationship … seriously.
Don’t expect to hear about it from them, though. Davis, like Jeter, seems to prioritize keeping her personal life out of the tabloids.
“I feel like I have to share every other part of my life,” the Caribbean-born beauty told Maxim in an interview this past March.
“It’s that one part that’s a bit of a mystery to people, but that’s the way we want it. The only way to protect it is not to talk about it.”

Inmates Break Out of Cell, Save Guard"s Life
We"re willing to guess you"ve never seen a video quite like this before.
Even those who watch Orange is the New Black on a regular basis.
Taken from surveillance cameras of the District Courts Building in Weatherford, Texas, it features a number of shackled inmates who break out of their basement holding cell.
But not for the reason you might think.
The clip depicts eight men walking over to a guard who has seemingly keeled over and is unconscious; it appears as if he"s suffered a heart attack.
Out of concern and panic, the prisoners bang on doors and shout to get the attention of anyone they can.
Deputies in the court located above the cell heard the commotion and nose on June 23 and quickly ran downstairs because they thought a fight had broken out, according to ABC affiliate WFAA.
They were understandably shocked to see the scene in front of them instead.
”We were worried they were going to come with guns drawn on us,” one of the inmates, Nick Kelton, told the network.
One of the inmates was found reaching for the guard’s radio, which was right next to his gun, but the deputies put everything together and realized the noble intentions taking place in that moment.
The prisoners were subsequently ushered back into the cell and one of the deputies administered CPR to his colleague.
Paramedics soon arrived and the guard – who is employed by a private contractor at the nearby Parker County jail – regained a pulse.
Pretty cool, huh?
Kelton, an admitted methamphetamine addict, said it “never crossed my mind not to help, whether he’s got a gun or a badge.”
He concluded: “If he falls down, I’m gonna help him."
