Big Brother Recap: Are Showmances Ruining the Show?

Is it just me or are there too many showmances on this season of Big Brother?

It’s getting to a point that I just don’t care about the gameplay. It’s so damn predictable.

The men are starting to pick off the women and it’s getting tedious.

Why are the women not realizing what’s going on? It’s getting so obvious that I’m predicting who the replacement nominee will be every week.

Paul went straight to Bridgette and informed her that she’s safe. Paul really wants Bridgette gone, but his alliance members are gunning for Da’vonne.

Yes, the same Da’vonne who has never won a competition.

Granted, she is pretty unpredictable. She threw everyone else under the bus to try and evade going on the block. She has no loyalty.

Da’vonne knew something was up when Nicole wasn’t put up. That’s when the cookie started to crumble for her.

I wouldn’t have blamed her for blowing up alliances because deep down, there’s no way she’s a pawn.

If that was the case, Paulie would have stayed up on the block, sitting pretty.

One showmance that seems to be coming to an end, is the one that includes Paulie and Zakiyah.

Zakiyah clearly isn’t fussed about playing the game and only cares about floating on through.

In most seasons, you get one or two contestants like that, but there’s a lot this time round.

At the veto, Paulie emerged victorious.

The target on Paulie should be growing. He’s acing all the competitions and if he gets to the end, he’s going to win.

Even after a last minute argument, Paul and Paulie decided that Da’vonne would be the replacement nominee.

It sucks for Da’vonne because she put her trust in the wrong people.

She was so sure that Nicole would be the one to go up.

Paulie used the veto on himself and Da’vonne was the replacement nominee.

What do you think about the latest developments?

Should the women target the men?

Blac Chyna Snapchats Rob Kardashian: Feud Is Over! True Love Wins!

They"re fine, you guys.  Everything is great again between America"s Sweethearts.

Rob Kardashian was featured in fiancee Blac Chyna"s Snapchat on August 3rd, a sign that they are on better terms after an argument last week prompted Rob to delete all signs of Chyna on his Instagram.

In the Snapchat video, Rob uses some ethereal filter and looked a bit like My Little Pony.

"This looks funny, babe. I can"t," Rob told his lady love.

The video surfaced just days after things went temporarily south during filming of their new reality show.

"Rob just got super emotional and felt too overwhelmed," a source close to the star told People Magazine.

"He lashed out from being frustrated, and they broke things off while they were filming. They got back together hours later."

The source pointed out that Rob and Blac did not actually break up, they just acted like two fools in love who use social media as a way to hurt one another.

Deleting all Instagrams of your beloved is the modern day equivalent to returning all of the mix tapes they made you.  It"s cold.

The source believes that being back in the spotlight is a tough adjustment for Rob, who spent the last few years in a reclusive state while battling depression and body image issues.

"Getting back in front of the cameras has been hard on Rob as he hasn"t been doing anything for a really long time now," the source pointed out.

It also seems like Rob has a tendency to be clingy.

"They were filming this weekend, and one of the people in her crew asked her to do something without him, and he snapped," another source told Us Weekly of what caused their fight.

"He was pissed that she was neglecting him again.  He always gets emotional and deletes things on social media when that happens. … But things are fine now."

Let the wedding planning continue!

Mariah"s World Trailer: Bring on the Puppies!

Between the diva and the legend, there"s…

… Mariah.

So teases a new, rather strange trailer for Mariah"s World.

The singer was joined by producers of the series on Wednesday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Los Angeles, teasing the upcoming program in the most Mariah Carey way possible.

“I don’t consider it reality,” Carey said of the show.

It"s worth mentioning that she said this while perched in a purple throne and surrounded by nearly a dozen shirtless models.

She went on to tell reporters that the series is just about her life.

"It feels like a documentary. I don’t even watch reality [TV]. I don’t even know what reality is."

That may be the most self-aware thing Mariah Carey has ever said.

Carey, who is engaged to James Packer and who is awful according to Demi Lovato, will anchor this eight-part special "event," as it"s billed in the following preview.

It will chronicle the eccentric and flamboyant pop star as she kicks off the European leg of her latest concert tour, while simultaneously planning her upcoming nuptials.

According to E! News, Carey has granted the network “exclusive access to her life behind the mic, including her family, friends and inner circle."

In the trailer, Carey scoffs at the notion that she is high maintenance, making it seem like she"s just joking around when she makes certain demands.

Like for puppies in her dressing room. Come on, do people really think she wants puppies in her dressing room?

Although… come to think of it… how great would it be to have puppies in her dressing room?!?

Elsewhere, Carey hinted to television critics this week that estranged husband Nick Canon may turn up on the show, before playfully adding:

“I don’t know if he’ll make the final cut."

In the end, Carey outlined her goal for the series as “to make it something that can be a lasting piece of work for my fans. And for my kids.”

Will she accomplish this task? Mariah"s World premieres on December 4.

Get an early look at what"s to come now:
