Teen Mom 2: Secret Holiday Special on the Way?
We can’t imagine why the ladies of Teen Mom 2 attempt to keep any secrets.
In addition to the fact that they’ve all signed deals to live out their lives on camera, the moms are near-constant presences on every major social media platform.
As a result, just about everything that happens in the lives of Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry, Chelsea Houska and Leah Messer is shared with their adoring public – even when MTV and the show’s producers would prefer that certain details remain under wraps.
We assumed that Teen Mom 2 Season 8 had wrapped filming several months ago, but now it looks like the ladies are back at it.
This time, however, they’re trying to keep the whole operation on the DL.
It’s not unusual for camera crews to go back and re-shoot certain scenes in order to develop a storyline or get a better take (reality TV is often pretty far from reality), but according to Radar Online, the TM2 crew is up to something far more ambitious:
“They want to film on Christmas,” a source close to the situation tells Radar.
Yes, it seems that we’ll get to peek in on Christmas at the home of Jenelle Evans, which we imagine is a lot like Christmas in your house, but with more threats of violence.
There have been rumors that the footage will be used as part of a TM2 holiday special, but that would basically amount to MTV airing episodes out of order.
It seems more likely that the new video will be used as a sort of addendum to Season 8 … which we may not be seeing for quite some time, due to some rumored contract disputes:
“The girls are working out their money but they are always fighting with MTV,” says the source.
“They try to jerk them around and say the filming is an extension of one season so they don’t have to pay them any more,”
If the girls were actors on a scripted show, they would just refuse to film, but considering their lives are the product here, it makes sense that they’ll participate in shooting and but refuse to sign over the rights to air the footage until after they’ve reached a deal.
It’s often necessary for on-air talent to hold out for more money, but the ladies are smart enough not to screw themselves out of a job.
So sadly, it looks like A Very Jenelle Christmas won’t be coming to your television any time soon.
But if you listen closely, you can probably hear her screaming at Barbara at this very minute.

Don’t know if you’ve noticed or not, but Scott Disick is kind of killing it lately.
And by “it,” we mean everything — but mostly being a good father and a good partner to Kourtney Kardashian.
You never thought you’d see the day, right?
Scott spent many years in a downward spiral, struggling with his addiction issues and his mental health.
The spiral was first majorly noticeable, sadly enough, when Kourtney was pregnant with their first child, Mason. Who could forget when Scott went on bender after bender before getting into a fight with a mirror on Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami?
He would get better, then he would get worse, and so on and so forth until, about two years ago, that downward spiral just got so fast there at the bottom.
Scott was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning, but still, he kept on drinking, and he kept on making terrible choices, until finally Kourtney dumped him last July.
After that, he spent a little while longer being the hottest, saddest mess that ever was, but then finally something seemed to click, and he actually started putting his life back together.
And it’s just been a delight to see.
Scott has been so good lately that he and Kourtney are, at long last, officially back together. And judging by these seriously adorable photos he shared over the weekend, he’s got something to prove.
Yes, after all those months of being a somewhat absent father, of ditching his kids to party hard and booze it up, he took his two oldest kids, Mason and Penelope, on his private jet.
He took this photo of Penelope, and do you even know what he captioned it?
“The sunlight in my life.” Can it get more precious than that?
Turns out it can, because, he also shared a picture of Mason — who is getting SO BIG — and wrote “And the boss in my life.”
It’s almost too cute, but hey, is there really such a thing as “too cute”? Surely not.
But wait, it gets better!
According to a report from Radar, Scott just may be doing all this not just to be a good dad, but also to prove to Kourtney that he’s changed his ways, in hopes that she’ll be like “yeah, go ahead and impregnate me again.”
However, it sounds like it would be more of a show of good faith, because, according to persistent rumors and a new statement from an insider, Kourtney’s already prepared to have Baby Disick No. 4.
“Kourtney and Scott are really making up for lost time right now,” the source claims.
“They are having sex nonstop in hopes that Kourtney will become pregnant right away. She really wants to conceive in time for the holidays!”
Cutting it a little close, aren’t you, girl?
But hey, if Scott is truly a changed man, if he’s committed to being as good a father as he seems lately, then by all means, happy boning.
After all, Kourtney and Scott do make some outrageously adorable kids.
