Jim Bob Duggar: Joy-Anna Will NOT Be Breaking Any Courtship Rules!

If you watch Counting On online, you know that the Duggars follow a very specific – and very strict set of rules – when it comes to dating and relationships.

In fact, they don’t even use the word “dating.”

Duggar women and their suitors engage in “courting,” which they describe as “dating with a purpose.”

That purpose, of course, being marriage and the conception of a small army of offspring.

The latest Duggar to embark on this heavily regulated romantic journey is 19-year-old Joy-Anna, who is now courting Austin Forsyth, a longtime family friend.

Unfortunately, if she was hoping to enjoy a modicum of freedom and maybe even occasional alone time with her new beau, Joy-Anna picked a bad time to start courting.

You see, her older sister Jinger Duggar recently married Jeremy Vuolo, and the relationship was subject to a great deal of scrutiny early on, as the young couple seemed to flout the rules and conventions of courtship at every turn.

Now, patriarch Jim Bob Duggar is making it perfectly clear that Joy-Anna won’t be rebelling in a similar fashion:

That nervous-looking young man across from Jim Bob is Austin, who celebrated his 23rd birthday last night.

As you can see, Jim Bob and wife Michelle didn’t leave anything to chance, chaperoning the celebration themselves, instead of outsourcing the job to one of Joy-Anna’s older siblings.

The photo was posted on the Duggars’ official Facebook page, along with a caption reading:

“We had a great time going on our double date with you and Joy this weekend!

“We are loving the time we are getting to spend with you as you and Joy court, and we are so excited to see what the Lord has in-store for you and our sweet Joy!”

Obviously, any 23-year-old would love to spend his birthday with his girlfriend’s stern parents, discussing “what the Lord has in store” for his future, but we can’t help but think that Austin might have liked to be alone with Joy, and maybe even get in some hand-holding action.

Sadly, he came along at a time when the Duggars and their sex drives are under greater scrutiny than ever.

In fact, Jim Bob might be showing more of a reaction to Jinger’s courtship controversy than he did to the Josh Duggar sex scandals, which pretty much tells you all you need to know about the man.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa: Shocking 911 Call Revealed!

Yesterday, we learned that HGTV stars Tarek and Christina El Moussa are separated, following a frightening incident involving firearms and threats of suicide.

The confrontation took place in May, but news of the extremely popular Flip or Flop couple’s ugly breakup only went public yesterday.

At first little was known about the confrontation that escalated to the point that it necessitated legal intervention.

But now, Radar Online has obtained a 911 call and police records that shed new light on the terrifying ordeal.

According to those records on May 23 “at approximately 3:45 p.m., Sheriff’s personal responded to a call of a possibly suicidal male with a gun.”

Authorities were so concerned that they responded with 22 deputies and a police helicopter.

Christina told police that she became concerned after she “received a call from her friend at about 3:30 pm,” the records state.

“The friend was in Christina’s bedroom and saw Tarek take a handgun from the safe, place it in his backpack and leave the room. She asked him what he was doing, but he did not answer.”

According to the friend, Tarek “did not make any threatening statements,” and the documents state that she “denied that Tarek had ever been suicidal.”

Nevertheless, the friend “called Christina and told her to leave the residence because Tarek had a gun.”

Tarek left the home shortly thereafter, and was tracked down by police “on a mountainside” nearby.

They communicated with him via the helicopter’s PA system, and he agreed to surrender all of his firearms, which included:

– A Kahr K9 handgun

– A Pietro Baretta

– A Springfield EMP 9mm

– A Stag Arms AR 15

– A Ruger GP 100 .357.

Now that we’re getting a clearer picture of exactly what happened between Tarek and Christina, many expected HGTV to announce the cancelation of their popular house-flipping series.

For now, however, it seems the network is planning to stick with two of their most popular personalities, who are still working together.

Tarek and Christina said in a statement that they are focusing on co-parenting (their kids are 6 and 1) and their professional relationship.

It remains to be seen how the show will proceed now that it’s widely known the El Moussas are no longer a couple, however.

Lala Kent: Leaving Vanderpump Rules!

Scheana Marie can breathe a huge sigh of relief.

Lala Kent has confirmed that she will be leaving Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules during Season 5 of the hit series.

If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, you probably already know Lala has not gone down a storm with many of the SUR employees.

Her exit comes as no surprise. It was almost like she didn’t fit in with the other members of staff and as we’ve witnessed in the past, the people on the outside of the circle struggle to get in with the veterans.

Add in the fact that she was missing from the cast promotional poster earlier this year. It was clear something went wrong along the way. 

“I’m excited for people to watch me exit because it’s just going to show a new side of my life and I think it will get to show people who I really am,” Kent told TooFab.

“I watch the show sometimes and I’m like that’s not me. I want people to see who I actually hang out with, my day-to-day life. And I never got to show that. I’m excited for people to watch me leave Vanderpump Rules to be quite honest.”

Reality TV often comes under fire because the way some of the stars are portrayed. Let’s just say she was never shown in the best light and that’s why Scheana flat out refused to become friends with her. 

“I made it halfway through the season and just decided that I want no part of the people anymore,” she revealed.

“I feel like they don’t deserve to be in my world in any way shape or form. So I dismissed myself.”

The part in which she dismissed herself seems pretty rich because rumors are swirling she’s been getting jiggy with a married man. Maybe she did not expect her deceit to make it on to the TV show, or something. 

Either way, don’t expect the drama at SUR to slow down in Lala’s absence. There’s every possibility she’ll pull a James Kennedy at some point down the line and try get her job back.

That seems to be what the people from the show do when their next venture hits a lull. 

Heck, if the rumor is true about her with the married man, maybe she and Scheana have more in common than they think.
