Scheana Marie on Divorce Settlement: I Hate Giving Money to an Addict!

If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, then you’re likely aware that the brief marriage between Scheana Marie and Mike Shay didn’t exactly end on amicable terms.

Scheana and Shay’s divorce became public knowledge before we saw it fall apart on the show, but in the Vanderpump Season 5 finale (and the show’s 47-part reunion show), we finally found out just how ugly things really got.

Obviously, one of the main issues was Shay’s drug problem, but there were other factors in Scheana’s decision to split, as well.

For starters, it seems Shay had decided to devote his free time (which, as an unemployed dude, he had a lot of) to sexting other women and making terrible music with Nicole Arbour.

Unfortunately for Scheana, the divorce came just as she was starting to make some serious bank from her reality TV career.

She and Shay never signed a prenup, so naturally, she was forced to shell out a goodly amount of cash in the divorce, but it seems she feels it was all worth it in order to be free of a dude that was only dragging her down:

“Well, he got paid last year, so I would assume that’s already gone,” Scheana said in a recent discussion with WWE star Sean “X-Pac” Waltman (we live in strange times).

She added:

“He wasn’t a person who was ever really good with money. It was very amicable, and as much as I didn’t want to give $ 50 thousand to a person with a drug problem, I felt like… I don’t know, like he deserved it for just, you know, being a part of the show for so long and my life and my story.”

That’s actually awfully mature of Scheana.

Of course, these days she’s reportedly making close to half a million a season for Vanderpump (just one of her many revenue streams), so forking over 50 G’s to make a problem go away probably wasn’t all that hard on her.

She went on to say that she hoped Mike would be smart with the money – but she now fears he’s already blown it:

“And I’m like, look, I’m not trying to cut you out and leave you high and dry so like, here’s how much we have, is this OK? And he agreed,” Scheana said.

“And I was just like I recommend that you put $ 10 thousand into like SEP-IRA, start a retirement account or something that you know you can start getting interest on. And he was like, yeah that’s a great idea. I doubt he did that.”

She added:

“I don’t know, but I just hope that he’s doing something useful with it and not just wasting it like he wasted a lot of mine.”

Money aside, Scheana has indisputably “won” the divorce.

She’s already dating actor Robert Valletta, and she now gets to take the high road with meme-worthy comments about how she hopes he finds the contentment he’s searching for:

“I just wanted him to be happy,” Scheana told the wrestling dude.

“I put my life and my career on hold for the last couple years ‘cause I just wanted him to be happy. I wanted him to have everything, and I think that, I don’t know, maybe I did that a little too much.”

That comment is basically the divorce equivalent of a Mortal Kombat finishing move. #FlawlessVictory

Jimmy Kimmel: Mocked by Congressman Over Speech About Son"s Heart Surgery!

On Monday night, Jimmy Kimmel inspired a river of tears that still has yet to stop when he revealed that his precious new baby boy had to have heart surgery shortly after his birth.

JImmy said that doctors discovered the baby had a congenital heart disease, and that he required surgery then and he’ll have to have another one in a few months.

He talked about the ordeal for a few minutes, even crying through some parts — and understandably so — and during his speech he also mentioned some facts about health insurance.

“You know, before 2014, if you were born with a congenital heart disease like my son was, there’s a good chance you’d never be able to get health insurance because you had a pre-existing condition,” he said.

“If your parents didn’t have medical insurance, you might not even live long enough to get denied because of your pre-existing condition.”

“If your baby is going to die and it doesn’t have to,” Jimmy added, “it shouldn’t matter how much money you make.”

“No parent should ever have to decide if they can afford to save their child’s life. It just shouldn’t happen. Not here.”

And he’s right — it absolutely shouldn’t. That’s just common sense and basic human decency, right?

According to former Congressman Joe Walsh, not so much.

Yesterday, after Jimmy’s story started getting a lot of attention, Joe tweeted “Sorry Jimmy Kimmel: your sad story doesn’t obligate me or anybody else to pay for somebody else’s health care.”

For real, he actually tweeted that. How heartless can you be?

He also tweeted that “Health care is complicated. Health care is bankrupting America. But instead of thinking thru all of that, we’d rather cry with @jimmykimmel.”

Or hey, why can’t we cry with Jimmy Kimmel and try to reach out to all those dozens and dozens of countries who manage to have universal healthcare. Why not both?

Good ol’ Joe wasn’t done though.

“11,000 Americans retire every day. We’re living into our 90’s. Instead of debating how to pay for all that heath care we watch @jimmykimmel,” he wrote.

“I’ll say it: For a people no longer capable of logic & reason, it’s perfect that a late night comedian just decided our health care policy.”

What a bunch of nonsense, right?

But don’t worry: Twitter put Joe in his place.

“You should be ashamed of yourself,” one person told him. “And hope to god nothing happens to YOUR kids, you ignorant f-ck.”

“Thank you for having the courage to fight against those conniving evil takers, sick children,” another wrote.

And many, many people pointed out that in 2011, Joe’s ex-wife sued him for unpaid child support, claiming that he owed a total of $ 117,437 in past due payments for three kids.

The great Patton Oswalt tweeted “Joe, you won’t even pay child support for your OWN kids. We already knew you felt this way, you worm. No need to tell us — we’re good.”

Another person wrote “How peculiar that a deadbeat dad would take this particular stance, even as a form of desperate attention seeking.”

But still, Joe wasn’t moved.

Just this morning, he tweeted “It’s not compassion to forcibly take the money I make & give it to someone else. It is compassion for me to voluntarily help someone else.”

OK, Joe. Whatever you say, pal.

Nippon Airways Passengers Get Into All-Out Brawl: WATCH!

We just have one question when it comes to air travel these days:

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!?

It"s never exactly been fun to fly, not with delays and gross food and tight spaces and excessive baggage fees.

But then United Airlines physically dragged a patron off a plane after it overbooked his flight.

And then Delta Airlines gave a customer the boot because he went to the bathroom while the plane was on the ground.

And now Nippon Airways has not done anything wrong, but footage has gone viral of two passengers getting into a wild brawl just prior to takeoff.

In the video below, we one man in a colorful shirt approach another man in the black shirt.

The latter has since been identified as Ryan Humphreys and he has since told TMZ that his opponent was ranting and raving about the U.S. government prior to instigating this fight.

This account has been verified by the passenger who filmed this video, as he wrote on YouTube that the unidentified gentleman yelled at one point "You think I"m crazy? What about the government?!?"

This same fellow passengers makes a point of writing that Nippon employees handled the situation as well as possible.

Humphreys, meanwhile, says the fists started flying after this seemingly deranged individual started "smothering" a woman in front of him.

The violent passenger was thrown off the plane in Tokyo and then arrested after he allegedly put a choke hold on an airline employee.

Crazy, right?!?

Watch the brawl below, and then maybe think twice about ever flying again…
