Leah Messer: Teen Mom 2 is Gonna Make Me Look Terrible with Editing, Again!

Leah Messer has been portrayed as a bad mom on MTV in the past, and the Teen Mom 2 star admits she’s nervous it’ll happen again.

The West Virginia native doesn’t exactly help her own cause sometimes, but does she have a bone to pick with producers and editing?

Sometimes, it does seem like she can’t catch a break.

When it’s not fans slamming Leah’s makeup-free pic, it’s people getting on her case for her relationship or parenting decisions. Constantly.

Throw in the fact that (according to her) MTV is focused on creating better storylines rather than portraying her fairly, and she’s anxious.

“Yes sometimes [I get nervous],” Messer told Radar.

“There is a lot of editing and all that,” she added.

“You don’t know what’s going to be on air.”

Last season, Messer came under fire all sorts of times.

Perhaps most notably, she was torn a new one by fans who watch Teen Mom 2 online for refusing to feed her twin daughters breakfast.

She blamed that on editing, too, insisting that she was scrambling to get everybody ready for a long ride to school and clearly feeds them.

Moreover, the 24-year-old mom of three was slammed for letting her youngest daughter, Adalynn, to eat sugar packets at a restaurant.

Clearly, the mother of Aliannah Hope Simms, Adalynn Faith Calvert and Aleeah Grace Simms has her hands full, but she says this is BS.

Leah called MTV out online for how she was depicted.

“It’s so sad how the person behind the editing can even live a happy life by editing to manipulate the audience watching,” she tweeted.

“It makes me feel like my life story isn’t enough.”

Despite her fears, and plenty of past tumult that you could never blame on editing, Messer insists her storyline this season won’t be dramatic.

Why? Because there simply isn’t much drama!

“There are a lot of positive things going on with the girls and I,” she told the celebrity gossip site, insisting she’s in a great place lately.

“Good things, great things.”

Messer told Radar how despite issues with baby daddies Corey Simms and Jeremy Calvert in the past, fans won’t see the exes feuding.

“We actually co-parent great, we get along good,” she said of Simms, the father of her twin girls, while the same is mostly true of Calvert:

“Jeremy and I get along pretty well.”

In the case of Calvert, Leah has some issue with the fact that Jeremy is engaged to Brooke Wehr and spends so much time with her.

When it comes to Corey, she says won’t be taking Simms to court for custody, saying things are going very well in their current arrangement.

Bottom line? Things are looking up for her, and if that remains the case, no amount of editing is going to derail her positive trajectory.
