Kailyn Lowry Shades Jenelle Evans: She"s a TERRIBLE Mom!
Last month, Jenelle Evans’s youngest son Kaiser celebrated his birthday.
Evans posted photos of the big day, but fans took issue with the fact that the bulk of the celebration … at a daycare facility.
Based on the comments on Jenelle’s pic, it seems her followers were spilt on the question of whether or not that’s an acceptable way to celebrate a toddler’s birthday.
Some say it’s perfectly fine — after all, what preschooler doesn’t want to be showered with attention by a couple dozen of his peers?
Others, however, thought the move was Jenelle in a nutshell — a lazy gesture that’s documented for social media in order to give the impression what she’s a doting mom.
“Not a fan of JE, but why on earth are we judging people’s parenting at all, let alone based on b-day parties?”
(Editor’s note: It’s perfectly acceptable to judge Jenelle Evans’ parenting, as she’s awful at in roughly 99.999 percent of the time.)
Anyway, as is usually the case with Jenelle, she had more detractors than supporters, and one of them was none other than her longtime Teen Mom 2 castmate, Kailyn Lowry.
Kailyn celebrated her son Lux’s birthday, and she basically pulled a reverse- Jenelle.
Kail went all out for the party and even posed with Lux’s dad, Chris Lopez, for the trio’s first-ever family photo.
Of course, this is 2018, a time in which everything that everyone does is subjected to intense scrutiny and criticism, so it should come as no surprise that Kail was also roasted online.
Fans accused her of “over-celebrating” for Lux, as she never hosted such a massive shindig for her older sons.
Many fans came to Kail’s defense and that, boys and girls, is how Ms. Lowry once again found herself butting heads with the Carolina Hurricane.
At one point in the discussion, Kail retweeted the following comment:
“There has been a lot of discussion about how @KailynLowry has ‘forgotten’ she has two other kids, or went so extra for Lux’s bday but never did the same for the other boys.
“Guys give her a break, she didn’t pull a JE and take them to daycare with Walmart cupcakes. She’s a good mom.”
Jenelle has yet to respond, but we’re guessing she’s less than thrilled, as is far from the first time that Kail has criticized her parenting.
Following Jenelle’s road rage incident, Kail — like pretty much else who watched the show — remarked that Jenelle is an absolute psychopath for putting her child’s life at risk in such a reckless fashion.
The jury may still be out on Wal-Mart cupcakes, but surely we can all agree that stuff like that makes Jenelle an unfit mom.

Catelynn Lowell: Open Adoption is a Terrible Weight on My Heart
Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra gave up their firstborn for adoption.
But it’s an open adoption, so they still have a small amount of contact with Carly — who is nine years old.
Catelynn is opening up to fans about how challenging it can be to maintain this very limited relationship with the child you brought into the world. See her heartfelt note below:
Catelynn shared a quote to Instagram.
“Open adoption is like a marriage,” the post’s image begins, written tidily in chalk.
If you’re wondering how this simile works, don’t worry, the quote explains it.
The chalk writing says: “It requires hard work, acceptance, patience, forgiveness, respect, trust, understanding, and quality time.”
In contrast, a closed adoption won’t feature any quality time.
“You stay in it not only for the child,” the quote concludes. “But because you genuinely love each other.”
The quote is attributed to Jenna Cooper.
Catelynn shared this image, and included a caption with some thoughts of her own.
“Some days adoption is really hard…” Catelynn begins, making liberal use of elipses.
Catelynn gave up her firstborn daughter, Carly, for adoption. Carly is now nine years old.
“I know,” Catelynn continues. “She will understand one day…”
But it can be difficult.
“I don’t regret it at all..” Catelynn makes clear.
Good. She was a teenager and not prepared for motherhood.
Catelynn admits: “Just some days are harder than others”
Catelynn has been brutally honest about her personal struggles before. It makes sense that she’s open and honest about this.
Last month, Catelynn honored Carly on her birthday.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARLY,” Catelynn began in all caps.
Birthdays are a big deal, even in complicated families. Especially in complicated families.
“Today,” Catelynn continued. “You are 9 years old! NINE!!!”
Anyone who remembers when Catelynn was a pregnant teenager didn’t really appreciate the reminder of how old they are.
Catelynn expresses her astonishment, writing: “That is insane to me!!!”
Children really do grow up so unbelievably quickly.
“Today at 10:39am,” Catelynn said. “You took your very first breath and brought so much joy to this world!!!”
So it’s just a universal mom thing that they remind you what time of day you were born.
“We love you so much, “Catelynn concludes. “And will talk with you later.”
(We hope that Carly doesn’t actually have free reign to explore Instagram — there are butts and a lot of lewd text on that app)
Tyler Baltierra, who has clapped back at questions over whether his mental health makes him a bad parent, also gave Carly a shoutout in May for her birthday.
“Happy Birthday to my beautiful first born!” Tyler’s message began. “I can’t believe Carly is 9 years old today.”
Right?
“I’m just so blessed,” Tyler admits. “Because I may not have the luxury of seeing her every day.”
That can be so emotionally challenging.
Despite that, he writes: “but I have the peace of mind knowing I will see her one day a year (sometimes 2).”
You cherish the time that you have.
“I have learned a lot throughout this adoption journey,” Tyler admits. “& I have made mistakes in the past regarding that relationship.”
“But I feel like I have grown up & matured through all of that,” Tyler says. “& I now realize that I need to count my blessings.”
“I am proud to say,” Tyler continues. “That I have 9 blessings,”
To be clear, Tyler does not mean that he has nine children.
Tyler explains: “9 years of seeing her grow through visits & pictures, 9 birthday cakes, & ONE child to forever impact my life in so many ways.”
“I love you Carly,” Tyler writes. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Your birth daddy loves you SO MUCH!”
That is so sweet.
It’s good that Tyler and Catelynn feel comfortable opening up about their open adoption with fans.
You know that there are Teen Mom viewers who are going through similarly difficult situations with their own families.
It’s good to see that you’re not alone.

Jill Duggar Says Nice Things About Terrible Husband, Shares Rare Wedding Photo
It’s been a week of ups, downs, insults and compliments for Derick Dillard.
First, the homophobic ex-reality star was blasted by social media users on Father’s Day, considering he supports a President who advocates for tearing kids away from their parents at the border.
While wife Jill Duggar praised the dad of her two sons for being a staunch Christian, many Internet users pointed out the hypocrisy of someone who claims to hold these types of religions values…
… yet is also for the sort of cruel immigration policy espoused by Donald Trump.
Think of ALL the children being held in a detention center, separated from their parents. Is that loving? Is it Godly? NOPE!” screamed on critic online.
But we’re not here right now to wade into these kinds of controversial political waters.
We’re here to point out that Dillard is at the center of another special occasion today:
It’s the four-year anniversary of his wedding to Jill, who wed on June 21, 2014 in Springdale, Arkansas.
In honor of the milestone, Jill shared a rare photo from the day she and Derick exchanged vows (and first kissed, per Duggar courtship rules) and wrote a caption that reads as follows:
This man is my favorite! @derickdillard I’m blessed beyond measure to have you as my hubby! #4yearanniversary Ihope God gives us many more years here together! I wanna #growoldtogether.
She wasn’t done with the annoying hashtags, either, adding:
#besthubbyever, #bestpapaever, #manofmydreams, #imspoiled and #sograteful.
Of course, not everyone out there feels this way about Dillard.
He was slammed by his very own cousin recently for failing to hold up Christian values, following Derick’s ongoing tirade against the LGBT community.
If you’ll recall, Dillard was fired by TLC for constantly bashing transgender reality star Jazz Jennings last year.
We could spend a long time reciting the list of mean and close-minded things Dillard has said.
But we’d mostly just be repeating ourselves from past articles about him.
So, instead, on his anniversary, we’ll go back in time a bit and recite details from his wedding instead.
Based on a People Magazine article at the time, over 600 cupcakes, 3,000 chocolate-chip cookies and 3,000 root-beer floats were served at the reception for guests to enjoy.
More than 100 immediate family members were in attendance, as were guests from more than 30 states, Jim Bob Duggar told the publication back then.
Josh Duggar acted as emcee of the reception, pointing people to long folding tables filled with chocolate and vanilla cakes, as well as the tables with the wedding cake
This was before it came out that he’s a messed up individual who molested two of his sisters.
As for the first-ever spit-swap shared between the husband and wife on their big day?
“It was worth the wait,” Jill told the magazine.
How very sweet.
Too bad we can’t say the same about her bigoted husband.

Kailyn Lowry: I Was a Terrible Girlfriend to Dominique Potter!
Back in November of 2017, news of Kailyn Lowry"s relationship with Dominique Potter spread like wildfire across the social media landscape.
The romance progressed at breakneck speed, and Potter even relocated to Delaware in order to be closer to Kail.
But then something surprising happened.
As quickly as it began, Kail and Dom"s relationship was over.
Now, Lowry is watching it all unfold on new episodes of Teen Mom 2, and it seems she feels she has some explaining to do.
1. Kail and Dom
Lowry seemed to be head-over-heels for Potter in the early days of their relationship. Unfortunately, it seems the romance quickly turned sour.
2. Wasting No Time
Just weeks after news of the relationship went public, Dom posted this photo along with a caption explaining that she’d moved to Deleware in order to be closer to Kail.
3. A Major Milestone
Kail introduced Dominique to her sons early on in the relationship. Fans took it as a sign, as Lowry had previously stated that she would only introduce her kids to romantic partners she planned on being with for a very long time.
4. A Sudden Change of Heart
Just weeks after the couple went public with their relationship, however, fans picked up on indications that they had called it quits.
5. No Explanation
Lowry never gave a reason for the breakup, but now, all these months later, the drama is playing out on new episodes of Teen Mom 2.
6. Reliving the Past
Fans are getting their first real glimpse of Kail’s relationship with Dom, but it seems they’re not the only ones gaining new information about how it all played out. Lowry has been watching, too — and it seems she’s not proud of her behavior.

Kim Kardashian Vilified as "Toxic and Terrible" for Ridiculous Lollipop Promotion
Kim Kardashian has promoted some very unsavory things over the years:
A waist trainer. A selfie light for one’s phone. Kanye West.
But a handful of social media users are in agreement that Kardashian reached a new low this week via her latest Instagram shill.
On Tuesday, Kim shared a photo of herself sucking on a lollipop.
Was this a way to promote the next Kim Kardashian sex tape? Or to bump up her follower count via a form of seduction?
Nope, neither of the above.
It was a way for Kim to promote a piece of candy that she claimed helped suppress one’s appetite.
We really wish we were kidding.
“You guys… @flattummyco just dropped a new product,” Kardashian wrote as a caption to the following image.
“They’re Appetite Suppressant Lollipops and they’re literally unreal.
“They’re giving the first 500 people on their website 15% OFF so if you want to get your hands on some… you need to do it quick! #suckit.”
SIGH.
Hopefully, we need not explain why this is just a disgusting thing for Kim to write.
For starters, the idea that sucking on a lollipop would suppress one’s appetite is sheer lunacy.
It may even even worse than claiming that cinching a waist trainer around one’s body will help one lose weight.
Second, even if this somehow did work as Kim and the company describe… WHAT THE EFF?!? You should absolutely never suppress your appetite!
Being hungry is your body’s way of saying it needs food and eating food is good for you!!!!!
Thankfully, enough people out there agreed with our assessment of this terrible ad campaign and product that Kim has actually deleted the post.
“Eating disorders are a very real issue for a lot of young people and to see Kim Kardashian actively encouraging her fans to develop an unhealthy relationship with food is terrifying and gravely concerning,” activist Liam Hackett Tweeted.
“You are setting the worst example to girls all over the world. No one should have to feel the need to suppress their appetite to fit to ridiculous beauty standards. So offended right now,” someone else wrote.
And then another:
“Completely irresponsible and a really sad message to be projecting. You can have a fit and healthy body without starving yourself and listening to your body when it needs food.”
Jameela Jamil, an actress on The Good Place and the founder of a social media campaign encourages men and women to focus on achievements other than looks and weight, really laid into Kim.
In response to this ad, she wrote:
No. F— off. No. You terrible and toxic influence on young girls.
I admire their mother’s branding capabilities, she is an exploitative but innovative genius, however this family makes me feel actual despair over what women are reduced to.
And also:
MAYBE don’t take appetite suppressors and eat enough to fuel your BRAIN and work hard and be successful. And to play with your kids.
And to have fun with your friends. And to have something to say about your life at the end, other than ‘I had a flat stomach.’
Amen, Jameela.
(On a related note, The Good Place is positively genius. You should watch it.)
We’ve railed against the Kardashians for years for this same reason.
The sisters continue to set awful examples after they give birth, for instance, by focusing so heavily and so publicly on their need to lose weight as quickly as possible.
Khloe is the latest sibling to bring this topic up again and again and again.
We really wish these stars would use their platform for the promotion of positive body issues, not of the cliche and unhealthy notion that all women must be as thin as humanly possible at all times.
We mean… a lollipop appetite suppressant?!?
